The installer arrived significantly late. Although he did call. I had anticipated that he would be able to help program my garage door openers that are built into my cars but he notified me that it was not their policy to get in cars but he could hopefully help me to do it. That wasn't ideal but I was okay with his assistance at least. He worked for probably 2 hours, not anticipating it taking that long I checked on him. He couldn't figure out the problem so called in for back up because the first installer was new and he needed help. Ultimately, they told me I needed new springs and and rollers. There are not that many parts on a garage door opener and these parts that needed to be replaced are very obvious. It is beyond me that the original installer could not see the problem in fewer than 2 + hours. A job I anticipated costing $374 turned out to be $558. On top of that, they had the audacity to charge me for additional labor because the first installer had to call for back up. Then when he had finally installed it after 3+ hours I asked for his help to program my car garage door openers and he said no he could not help because he was out of time.

The technician was very polite. However he did not do anything related to tune-up. He simply wiped the sensor light with his hand and pull at the sensor a little bit. No lubrication of joint or tightening of any screws. My garage door had the same problem in the following week and I called up another company to fix it.

The technician was right on time & seemed very knowledgable. The problem that prompted me to schedule the service was the light not coming on when one of the doors was operated. He determined that, given the age of the opener, there was no way to repair it. He gave me a rough estimate of what a replacement would cost, but advised that the unit was working well & if I could live without the light, he didn't see any reason to spend money replacing it. He discovered that the support of one track was pulling away from the ceiling. He repaired that problem, replaced the old rollers and lubricated everything. At the 2nd location his inspection found no problems so he only had to lubricate it. He was quick & efficient at doing the work & had everything completed in very short order.

My garage door spring broke and made the door skip off the track on a Friday morning. We were having people over the next day to the house. I called Friday morning as soon as they opened and someone came to my house and fixed it that day. All work was done before 1:00. If you need work done fast, I would definitely recommend! When I called, I got the contact person that was listed directly and he got things scheduled quickly.

This was a great experience. They came out on a Sunday to repair the door - and I didn't have an appointment. They were quick, nice, and very efficient.. He explained everything he was doing and described what was wrong - then fixed the issues without selling me a lot of things I didn't require. Great company - professional personnel. They are my garage door company from now on and I will use them when I replace the door in a year or two

They did fine work and they did a good job. For the pricing I thought was covered under warranty, but they told me that it wasn’t. They replaced the door a few years ago, which is why I thought it was covered.

The service went very well. They initially came out to replace a spring. Afterwards, we did a look though and noticed the brackets would not hold long and decided we needed a new door. One technician came out to replace the door and completed the job in about 2 hours. The staff was very professional. The owner came out for the first visit and did not try to sell me anything I did not need. I had no problem scheduling the job and they even came out on a Sunday because the door was stuck and the car was stuck inside.

Precision Door is awesome and I would highly recommend them! On Labor Day, our garage door came off the track and was just hanging by a thread. Cable broke and original plastic rollers had come off the door and the track. Called several other garage door services (who advertise on Angie's List) who claim to provide 24/7 emergency service and NONE of the others answered the calls. Only Precision Door answered their phone, with a live person, and we are glad that they did. John the owner was handling emergency holiday calls, and he got to us within about an hour and had our door up and running in no time. He provided us with three options for fixing the door, and we went with the most comprehensive option which happened to be the most expensive. We replaced the worn out single spring, the cables and upgraded all the rollers to higher quality ball bearings as opposed to just going with the cheap original plastic ones that break easily. The door is running more quietly and smoothly than it did before, and we don't have to worry about the door falling off the track again. Great reliable service that we have recommended to several others, and if needed, we will definitely use again.

They answered the phone at 8am on a Sunday, promised to be out at the house by noon the same day and Allen showed up before Noon. Allen pointed out that one of the bearings was plastic and could be replaced with a metal one for only $15. He was knowledgeable about my existing equipment and the kinds of issues I might run into in the future. Not once did he push me to buy anything and even suggested I keep running my existing door opener until it fails before considering an upgrade. I was very please with the experience and they have earned a new customer. When the time comes to replace my garage opener or the door I will definitely buy from them as well as suggest them to any of my friends should they need this type of service.

Saturday afternoon at 4:30 my spring snapped on my garage door. Called them because of good reviews not really expecting anyone. Got Andy, one of the owners, who answered. Explained what was going on. He was trying to wrap up his long day and go home, but he said was in the area and would take a look. He stopped by within 15 minutes. Looked it over gave me an estimate which I agreed. I thought he'd come back monday. He grabbed all the parts off his truck and knocked it out in 30 minutes. Even took time too fine tune, balance, and adjust the door and opener. I'm not sure I have ever had such a good experience with any repair, ever. Unbelievably good experience. Really above and beyond.

After realizing our main garage door was not functioning properly the night before (and not able to even lift it manually) I called Precision Garage Door shortly after they opened at 7am the next morning. The contact person asked if my car was "stuck in the garage", which determined how quickly we needed service. They dispatched someone immediately. Within less than an hour we received a call that "Andy" was five minutes away. When he arrived, Andy asked for a description of the problem and to the inside of the door. In less than two minutes he determined the issue; a spring was broken and said he could fix it and replaced the other worn spring for $315 and be completed in about thirty minutes. We agreed and literally he was done (work complete, billed, and packed up) in about 30 minutes. They whole experience with Precision Door was fantastic; like a finely oiled machine! Extremely professional.

He arrived promptly very early on a cold day and everything was finished in time for us to leave for work at our usual times. He explained exactly what was needed and what he had to do. Garage door was quieter afterwards.
