Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Lowe’s came with two people. They seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. They did not rush the process, and worked through a problem of where to park the truck. I live in Old Town, where parking is always a challenge. The cleaning equipment is truck-mounted, so we needed to find a place close enough to have the hoses able to come in and through the house, which they were able to do.

Technician showed up on time at 8AM, Monday July 21, 2014. My 31 y.o. son reported that Joe, the technician, went from room to room. However, my son did not accompany him. Technician failed to complete Loew's service form that details the initial condition of the air ducts and dryer vent and services performed (a visual picture inside the ducts and vents is most ideal). He made absolutely no comments. Thus, I did not rate the price or quality of this service request. My son signed the form without observing this lack of documentation. So, I called Tuesday, July 22 to request written and verbal documentation of the air duct and dryer vent conditions and services. The dispatcher relayed that Joe, the technician, said everything was fine. I requested that I receive a completed service form and a call from the technician. Despite the promise that I will receive these requests, neither action occurred. I am surprised. Given the other Angie list reviews, I am surprised by this lack of professionalism and it reflects poorly on the reputation of the Loew's franchise.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they were accommodating. There were no additional costs beyond price of deal. They were very punctual and even arrived early. Two technicians completed the work quickly. Everything was fine.

Went very smoothly. They left everything very cleaned. Didn't make a mess (always a plus!). Very happy with the service.

It worked out very well. There was some problems with their responsiveness – I had to ask Angie’s List to intervene, but finally was able to get them to come out. They weren't at the home for long. The tech was nice and professional.

Constantine of Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning called on the day of the service to see if he could arrive two hours earlier than planned. That worked very well with our schedule. He went about his work in a professional manner. We were unaware that he would need to cut the ventilation pipe in the basement as a vacuum point, but it was corrected very nicely at the end of the service. We were surprised that very little dust/debris accumulated since this was the first time we have used such a service. We expected the ducts would have collected much more dirt over the years. But, now are assured that are vents are free and clear of debris. Constantine did a very good job and we are pleased with the service. Consumers should be aware that this company is not affiliated with Lowe's, the major improvements store.

The technician arrived punctually at 9:00 am. Described what he was to do. Most of the time was in setup. Performed his work efficiently. Left in about 2 hours after beginning.

They arrived on time for the appointment. The service was good and we liked the work.

He was a one-man crew since his partner was out that day, but did a wonderful job. Very thorough but fast. Brought a large vacuum machine into the house and opened up the various vents.

The gentleman who came was professional and explained what would be done. He was on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The job was completed on time. There was no clean-up after he left. He paid special attention to the three housecats to make sure they did not get out of the house. We highly recommend this company.

Lowe's promptly scheduled the services I paid for and Bruno did a great job with the work.

That turned out well. They were on time. The guy was courteous and cleaned up his mess. This should have been a 2 man job though and they could have better professional cleaning equipment. He did gave some further advice and it was a good service overall.

The service provider was polite, professional and detailed. He explained everything he was doing and how it would help our system.

It was a Big Deal purchase. They kept everything clean and tidy. They did a great job and I didn't have any issues with the service.

One person came. He was polite and worked quietly. He explained about our furnace filters, and when to replace.

We just had a big construction project in our house which involved a lot of plaster and drywall dust beging generated. This got sucked into the HVAC system. We also had not had our duct system cleaned in 15 years. Lowe's did a great job getting the dust and debris out of our system. Only slight problem was that some the dust got onto our kitchen counters and appliances and wasn't cleaned up. overall though very good job.

I purchased an air duct system cleaning package from Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning on 2/15/14 for $175. Their technicians actually first came to our home to perform the work on a day they had not confirmed with us. They just showed up at our door. My husband was at home but very ill that day, and asked them to choose another day, confirm with us, and return. We never heard back from them and would like to cancel the work order. I wrote them a couple of weeks ago requesting a refund of our $175, but they have not responded to that request either.

The service was completed but the technician did not have a camera so that he could inspect the ducts after the cleaning was completed. Now 6 months later the ducts need to be cleaned again.

Joe and his buddy arrived on time, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. They took some pictures with a phone camera before and after the cleaning. It certainly did look much cleaner! They did not use the cameras on poles or snakes to look around the corners. That might be a more expensive service than the one we bought.

It went well. They cleaned all the vents in my home. There was no problem with scheduling. They sent one technician and they did what they said they would do.

There were no troubles with scheduling and no additional fees beyond the cost of the deal. One technician completed the work in about three hours. It worked out very nicely and the air it much more clean.

the service representative called ahead of schedule to ask if possible to come soon than scheduled and he was there on time; we asked several questions, he seemed very knowledgeable and took time to answer ; he was professional and we felt comfortable with him working throughout the house.

Service was great, would definitely recommend. The technician (Constantine?) who came to the house was very thorough. In fact, he mentioned that it smelled like gas in our utility room where the furnace and hot water heater are located. We decided to call the gas company to check and we in fact had three small gas leaks in the lines running to the furnace and hot water heater. We are so grateful that he told us, we had been in that room several times and not noticed it, even the technicians from the gas company couldn't smell it! Had he not told us this dangerous issue would have gone unfixed until it was much worse.

The Big Deal was only for one zone in a house and I had two zones sothe price was doubled, but it turned out well.

They were excellent! They had good ratings. They were great when they came and they were very nice. I had no problems with them; they cleaned and everything was done right.
