Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning was awesome! Not only were the vents cleaned out but they also installed a new return, gave us advice on how to improve the quality of the air flow in our home and were very professional!

The technician called to set up the appointment approxiimately 5 days after purchase through Angie's list. On the day of service the technician called again in the morning to confirm the appointment. Later in the morning he called again and asked if he could come earlier and he showed up just like he said he would. I walked him through the house and he removed his shoes and went promptly to work. The work lasted for approximately an hour and a half. I discovered a duct I forgot to point out behind a bed and asked if he could come back upstairs and he told me it would be no problem. He was very quiet and respectful, prompt and courteous. He took his time to do the job correctly.

Service appointment went very well, very happy with service. Will use Lowes again.

When we got over the initial hiccup with mixed adress, they were very good and diid the job effectively and effciently

excellent. Work was performed on 2 systems. no problems. Arrived punctually and completed work as advertised.

The service was initially schedule between 12 noon and 2 pm for a townhouse my son recently purchased. They called us at 10:30 to let us know they were ahead of schedule and wanted to know if we wanted them to begin the cleaning earlier. They arrived around 11:00 am and went to work immediately. We were surprised by the amount of dust that came from the ducts. The two technicians were extremely professional and we could tell they knew their jobs very well. We were very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them. The deal on Angie's list was terrific. Earlier in the year we paid $450 to an HVAC company for the same service in our home.

I used them on a rental property, and it worked out very well. They did a good job. I have no complaints. I had purchased a big deal for $175, and there were no additional charges. They showed up on time, they did their job, and they stayed within the quoted price.

Overall I am happy with the service I purchased, however the "unlimited vents and returns" only applies to one furnace system. My house has two, a small system for the upstairs, and this package didn't cover this. When I asked I was told it was in the fine print and I would have to purchase additional services to cover those vents. I was a bit unhappy with that but mostly because I didn't catch "the fine print." Bruno was the serviceman for my house and he was FANTASTIC!! I really can't say enough about how punctual, professional, and courteous he was. He checked many things to see if I needed and/or wanted additional services (cleaning dryer vents, cleaning the blower, etc) and made many helpful recommendations. Bruno explained everything he was going to do, everything he was going to check, and when he was done, he went over everything he actually did. Great service. Really very professional. Bruno definitely deserves great recognition for his work and professionalism.

On time and professional. They did not secure the grate correctly when done, and I had to call them to come back. They did and all is fine.

It was okay. I was not real pleased with the huge chunks of dusts that blew out my vents for the next week. It created more dust in my house rather than removing dust. They sent one person out to do the job. It took them about a month before they could come out to do the service. They got the job done in about 3-4 hours.

The person who showed up was very courteous. He showed up on time, and gave me a 20 minute courtesy call ahead of time. He took his shoes off before entering the house, and explained the process to me before he started. Most importantly, he was sensitive to the fact that my cat and dog may be scared by the heavy and loud machinery. To work around this, he cleaned and disinfected one room/area of the house first and then gave me the opportunity to move the pets into the cleaned room so that he could finish the rest of the house. I am very happy with the service, as the vents looked much better after he was finished. I don't normally tip contractors, but I tipped this person. However, I discovered a couple small negatives after he left, but I may be nitpicking here. It appears one of the vents was missed in the basement. Also, when the dryer vent was cleaned, it sprayed massive amounts of lint out into my backyard, that I was hoping he would clean up the piles of lint that was sprayed out. All in all, would definitely call this company first next time I need this service done. Thank you for truly being an "A" Angie's List provider.

Courteous and professional over the phone. Punctual and business like in person. No complaints.

We had never considered having ducts cleaned before, but we bought a house and it had been lived in for 40 years with dogs, and there was dust and hair everywhere. The gentleman who showed up was punctual and professional. The result was that all of the accumulated dust and dog hair was gone, making us feel much better about our overall air quality.

Took 2 hours. At first it was difficult reaching a person to schedule the appointment and he did not have knowledge of my purchase through an Angie's List deal. Once the appointment was scheduled however, the service was of good quality. The technician was honest and polite.

I am very pleased things went perfectly. I purchased their coupon and there were no other charges I had an air vent that had stopped putting out air. the air duct works now, I won't have to use an electric heater in that room this winter. I highly recommend Lowes, I would use them again and will definitely tell my friends about Lowes.

1. The guy promised me pictures taken before and after. I never got them. 2. The survey should be send a week or two after the work done, not 6 or more months after that.

My experience was great. They arrived on time for the appointment. They were professional. I prefer to work with this company over others. and they stick to what they promised. They did not charge me anything additional.

Lowe's was great! We previously purchased one of those Groupons that were really cheap thinking it would get the job done. But the company that came out only had a wet/dry vac and vacuumed the vents. The vents were still disgusting with caked on tar-like dust and lint. We asked them to keep cleaning, but they explained that would require a "deep clean" that would cost another couple hundred dollars. Then, we found a great deal with Lowe's on Angie's List and decided to trust them with the deep clean and we are glad that we did. Bruno came out with a huge system and really blasted off the caked on dust and lint. Our vents look like new. He showed us just how much dust he got out, which was a ton. I couldn't believe it because the other company had just come out! What a big difference. Bruno explained everything he did and told us about the add-ons we could add to upgrade our service. He was very professional and not pushy at all. We decided that if we were going to get it done, we could trust Lowe's so we added the sanitation, and furnace cleaning. Definitely go with Lowe's. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Bruno, he is great! DO NOT use those companies that sell the $39-$49 Groupons. Most of the time the company that comes out isn't the one that sells the Groupon and it's very difficult to book them. You will just waste your money. Trust Lowe's. They'll do such a good job, you won't need to call them again for another 3-4 years.

Great. The technician, Joel, called to say he could come a few hours earlier. He even was flexible to wait to come over until our youngest finished a nap. He explained everything, took before and after shots of the ducts, and left no trace behind that he was here. Great service, good company to use.

My experience was fine. They did a good job from what I could tell. They explained the in's and out's of what they did. They also pointed out where the vents were in the house. There were two men here and the work took a couple hours to complete. They were professional.

Very well. Bruno was very pleasant and provided excellent service. This 40 year old townhouse had not had any duct cleaning ever and was overdue. I must say I thought I would have more clumps of dust than what was shown in the end result, but the large exhaust filter showed a high amount of white dust which could have been the recent remodeling dust or pet dander. For the price, this was a good deal.

Scheduling an appointment was fine. There was one person here for about 2 hours to get the work done. I felt the price was comparable to others.

Provided prompt and courteous service. Was very conscientious of removing or covering up their shoes to keep carpet and hardwood floors clean.

The guy was very nice and he did a very good job. He also answered all of my questions. The tech trying to upsell me towards the end, but he wasn't too pushy.
