Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

We had just finished a remodel so wanted the vents and air ducts to be clean. They did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and we are comfortable that our air is healthy.

Overall I was pleased. The technician (Bruno) showed up on time. I thought his demeanor was professional and courteous. He explained what he had to do and then did it with minimal drama. Two things I'll note (good and bad). Good: He explained the sanitation process. Sounded like an 'upsell', but who is going to say 'no' to disinfecting their ducts? Overall, I thought his explanation and attention to detail made up for the probably useless sanitation spray... but who knows? I'd rather be safe than sorry. Also, he gave me a pretty big discount, so that makes me think it's probably not necessary... but again, it was an additional $125 and he cleaned my dryer vents. Overall, pleased. I'm going to have him back in the spring to do another cleaning. Bad: He broke a picture frame (the glass) and apologized and cleaned it up. However, no one from the company called me to ask about reimbursing me the cost. I probably could have called them but I didn't want to get him in trouble. I figure they probably get yelled at if they break something and have to pay back more than the service costs... but it was a $500 glass frame. I'm rating only his service, not the broken frame, so assume that if this had not happened I'd give him 5 stars across. Not sure where to fall on this. For $300 total I feel like I got a good deal and great service. If the picture frame had not been broken, I'd probably give him a 5 on quality. Would recommend, but keep your fragile stuff away :)

Brought a huge machine to suck the dirt out of my ducts

It went very well. The service Tech was on on time and performed the work agreed to for the agreed price. He offered a few additional services and we took him up on one. Again, I felt the price was reasonable. I was favorably impressed by the experieince.

It went fine. They did a good job. The workers were good. I did not have any problem with them.

xcellent service. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional technician took time to explain the options and the pros and cons of each. The cleaning was performed in the time frame promised and the house was left very clean and tidy afterwards. During the initial consultation the technician also pointed out areas where the duct work was not installed correctly and provided advice and suggestions of updates that were required. He also installed a new return that we already had and patched a hole in the duct work at no extra charge.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were great; actually they were terrific. However, their name was a little bit deceiving. I think the Big Deal needs to say they are not affiliated with Lowe's Home Improvement Stores. I paid an additional $50 for some sanitizer. My advice to others is that if they need their ducts cleaned they should use them.

We purchased a "Big Deal" for this provider to clean our air ducts and vents. They were very punctual, and did a good job. I have no complaints, would use them again ,and would recommend them to others.

They had a realistic time frame for the day of the work. They called ahead and when the service guy arrived he did a walk through to locate all the discharge and return registers. He even moved whatever furniture may have been in the way ? never more than a foot because all he needed was the ability to remove the duct cover and run the hose to the location. Great guy doing the work ? he's been with the company for more than four years. During the process he kept me updated as to where he was and what he was doing. He even answered all my dumb questions. He was upfront on the time to do the job: "Most likely two hours, however, just in case there's a difficult area it may take longer. Is that okay?" He was done and packed to go 2 hours, 15 minutes later. It was a nice experience and now I know my HVAC and duct work array like the back of my hand.

I showed them to the ducts in the home, and they planned their attack. They were very pleasant and professional. All in all, it went very smoothly. It was completed quickly with little fuss.

They did a good job. They were paid 70 dollars extra. The quality was good. The time was very good. Their responsiveness was very good. They were very professional and nice. He was on time. I was quite satisfied with them.

This service never took place, turns out the deal I bought does not clean dryer vents which is what I needed in the first place. After speaking with the company they provided me with a deal $99, but, have not been here to do the service, they canceled yesterday, but, rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014.

This provider took a while to contact us as well as to iron out an agreed date to perform the service. Once a date was agreed upon: which was a Saturday evening time (3pm - 7 pm) which I thought was odd : The team of 4 men arrived after what may have been a local Slavic team soccer match and were still in their gym clothes. Regardless they performed their agreed tasks diligently and stayed late to make sure all services were complete and nothing was left un-done. Overall the men were friendly, polite and thorough. My concerns were muted by my satisfaction of the quality service and how content was the wife.

Excellent! I received a confirmation email within 24hrs and I spoke to a live person within 36hrs I was able to set a dat within 2 weeks. On the service date Bruno called me well in advance to let me know he was available earlier than set time. At the time of arrival the cleaning procedure was very well explained. A very good and professional first impression.

We have used them several times with great success. Most recently I purchased their deal and had them coordinate with my tenant and clean the dryer vent on our rental property. They handled it all and I received a call letting me know that the work was completed.

Technician called ahead and arrived on time. Performed work as requested and did a good job cleaning up. I did have a question about something that the technician brought to my attention so I called Lowe's the following business day and talked to Alec. Alec said that he and his top technician, Joe, would come by later the same day to take a look and explain any issues to me. They did so, and I am very satisfied with this company - they stand by their work.

After I purchased the service through Angie's List, there was a little bit of lag time to get a response for scheduling, but they were very apologetic and scheduled it immediately for the following week. They gave me a window of 8-10am. Bruno, the technician, called around 8:30am to let me know he'd be there around 9:45am. I showed him where the furnace was and all the vents and returns. He set up quickly, was quiet and polite, and was very thorough. He gave me a lot of good advice on the register covers and the process overall. It only took him a little over an hour to do the house. He showed me the filter after he was finished and I was really glad I had the ducts cleaned (it's an older house and I don't think it was ever cleaned. The previous owners had cats as well). He suggested some other services at a discount should I decide to do them at a later date, which was nice.

They also did a good job. They were young but professional.

Went really well. Professional workman who explained what he would be doing. Downsides: didn't close the vents so there was lots of dust under each vent, called to tell me he would be at the house in an hour but didn't arrive for almost 90 minutes. The phone number to schedule an appointment is rarely answered and the call back sometimes takes a full day.

It was ontime and did good job.
