Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning was punctual and competent, but they did a really bad job cleaning before leaving. They left my front door propped open when they left. I have a dog with an unhealthy obsession for chasing cars so I was quite upset to discover that he could have run out, or that anyone could have walked into my house without my knowing. It's just luck that nothing bad happened. They also moved furniture (couch, dresser, etc.) several feet but didn't return to place, and removed register covers but didn't reinstall the covers. Took me about an hour to return my house to normal.

The two young men, Kevin & Jo, arrived on time, explained exactly what they would do & how the equipment worked. They were able to take before-&-after pics with a camera-phone of 2 of 3 returns (from nasty to clean!). There is a definite difference in the air quality now. I would highly recommend this service & plan to use them again in a couple of years. Kevin & Jo are professional & pleasant to work with.

Technicians called prior to visit to confirm time. They arrived promptly and the work took about 2 1/2 hours as projected. Furniture was moved and returned to original positions. Technicians offered suggested items to watch, they were friendly and attentive. They even returned a few minutes after departing to place one last small piece of duct tape over a hole that they noticed, but had forgotten to seal before leaving.

Crew showed up on time and was very professional and thorough. They took before and after pictures to show me the results of their work - pretty amazing how clean they got things. Also had them clean the dryer vents - while they had a small brush to do the job adequately - they offered to come back the next day at no extra cost with a larger brush to do the work thoroughly! Very impressed and will use again.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, and it turned out pretty well. They missed one duct, but otherwise it was good. I keep meaning to call them to check out that one duct, but I haven't done it yet. 2 guys came out and did it, and they came out promptly. They were good, friendly, and seemed to be competent. There were a number of duct cleaners specials advertised, but it didn't come out very well. I think they are a reputable company name. I called a few companies, and they were quite a bit higher in price than Lowe's Air Duct. I would use them again in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was excellent. Those guys were top-notch. A couple of guys came in and did the work very efficiently. They showed us before and after pictures and did not waste any time at all. The price was reasonable and they sent two nice young men who were considerate of our surroundings.

Two workers cleaned every HVAC vent and air duct in our townhouse. They recommended adding cleaning/disinfectant solution to our system for an additional $50, which we agreed to. They took pictures of the insides of our air vents with their smart phone to demonstrate the before & after conditions within our home. They were prompt and clean- even removed their shoes when working inside our home. The work took two hours to complete and was very thorough.

It was great. They did what they needed to do and everything was fine. They came out within a week of purchasing the deal. There was an additional charge of $89 because we decided they do the dryer vert as well.

Alex and his technicians were all very promptly responsive in making the appointment. The technicians did a excellent and thorough job in cleaning the air duct. Since our condenser coil has a little bit of mold, they thoroughly cleaned it for an additional and reasonable fee. The technicians also did an excellent job in sweeping the chimney. Their professionalism was as equally important as the quality of their services. The technicians were very courteous and pleasant. They never tried to sell me any additional work other than what was necessary (in my case, it was the mold problem on the condenser coil), which is the opposite of what I had repeatedly experienced with some other service providers in the past. Overall, I feel that the money I paid for the services was well spent and the experience enjoyable. I would definitely use Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning again in the future as well as recommend it to family and friends.

Excellent!!! First, my appt. was scheduled betw. 8-10am. By 8:10am, they had called to say they would arrive in 20 minutes :). I was shocked by the age of the men (looked like college boys). They promptly removed their shoes before entering my home. Then they told me they had to drill 2 holes in my furnace air duct. I was really scared to death at this point. I could imagine my death at the hands of my husband. Then I took a minute and used common sense - how else would they be able to access the internal component. I asked what would happen if something broke while, or, because of their action. They said Lowe's would fix it. They took a tour of the house and covered any possible problems before starting (if they couldn't remove a vent, they would let me know). They kept me aware of everything and showed me the condition of the vents by sight and also pictures. They were careful in tight areas and put everything back like they found it. They cleared away any mess and took out dirty filters. My dryer vent had become detached outside and they reconnected it. They were all done in about 2 1/2 hours. I am so glad I took a chance and trusted Angie's and Lowes, as vent cleaning services tend to be expensive.

Two young men from Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning Service came to our home on the agreed day & were punctual. These two men were hard workers. We had moved many things out of their way as they requested. They were careful with the equipment they brought in the house. Every air & return duct was blown out with the high pressure hoses. Every grate was vacuumed & replaced as before. We are happy with the service, the attitude of the two young men, & especially the price.

Great! They were on time and very professional. They did a very thorough job and took their time. We noticed a huge difference after. We had construction done on the house and knew that dust and materials had fell into the vents, so we scheduled a cleaning with this company after reading the reviews. I couldn't be happier and I referred them to my neighbors.

I had a great experience.The communication between myself and the company was excellent. I even had to reschedule my first appointment and they were able to find a new time for me without any difficulty or without having to wait a month until a spot opened up. They showed up during the time slot allotted and called when they were on the way. They completed the work in a professional and timely manner and answered all my questions. They even showed me before and after pictures. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

I just purchase my home about 18 month ago and had never done an air duck cleaning so I know it was really due for one. I actually took one of the main vent screen down and took a look inside and notice how dirty it was and I suffer from bad allergies. I did a quick search in Angie's list and notice that there was a coupon for Angie's list customers to I went with this company hoping for the best. During the month of October I had shoulder surgery and therapy and had to call the company a couple of time to re-schedule and the were very nice and understanding. The day of the appointment two technician showed up for the job, they looked very young and that made me a little apprehensive but they were very nice and immediately got to work. During the process the took pictures of the vents before and after to show me and they also let me know that this was probably the first time our vents and hvac had been cleaned since it was installed in the house. They used air compressor hose with funny looking tentacles and a big vacuum. Overall I was very satisfied with the worked performed for the price. Note: After they left there was still some dust floating around the house so the next day I had to wipe all the furniture and vacuum the carpet.

This is the second home I had Lowe's perform the heating system cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. They did a marvelous job again. Extremely courteous young men performed the work. Shoes off at the door. Turns out I had a weak spot in the dryer vent and they repaired that. I recommend their work to everyone.

The gentlemen were extremely professional. They called to ask if they could arrive a little early. When they first arrived, they asked for a tour of the house so that they could see the placement of both systems and all related vents and returns. They were very careful and respectful of us (we were underfoot) and any items that needed to be moved while they were doing their work. I felt like they took their time and did not rush. I would recommend them to anyone needing to have their air ducts cleaned. Lowe's was great!

The two gentlemen who performed the work were punctual, polite, friendly, efficient and thorough. They accommodated my request to move my cats to the last bathroom so that I could ensure they wouldn't be traumatized and/or escape by the open door. I am very pleased with the service, the quality, and the cost. I will use them again next time.

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of the two gentlemen who performed the air duct cleaning. They were right on time and spent about three hours there. They explained the service and showed us the results. I would highly recommend them and would definately use them again.

The two servicemen called to see if they could come earlier than scheduled, which actually was preferable to me. They arrived promptly, had a very professional and very positive attitude throughout, and worked efficiently. They took care to keep their work areas clean and were very receptive to any request on my part. One of the reasons I chose the company was to have my ducts examined. They not only did so, but took time to show me the results and explain any anomalies they found. When I pressed them to make absolutely certain that there were no holes -- I had indications that there were -- there was no resistance, and they make certain they examined everything again closely. In short, they were a pleasure and did great work. The price was great as well -- $175 for the duct cleaning, when other companies charge far more. I recommend you check them out.

The customer service rep. promptly reached out to me to set up my appointment the same day I purchased the deal from Angieslist. The two young gentlemen showed up exactly when they said they would and immediately proceeded to work on the system. They showed me before and after photos and the results were fantastic, especially since the vents had never been cleaned in 27 years, to say the least. When I explained to them why we were having the service done, a new baby on the way, they told me about the system sanitizing they perform and it was worth every penny. There was absolutely no hard sell/upgrade tactics when it came to the additional service and I really appreciated that. I would HIGHLY recommend this company over and over again.

They arrived on a timely basis and did a quality job cleaning the ducts as well as the dryer vent. I do think that they charged a high price for the UV light at $299. However, everything else was done well, even down to cleaning up the back yard where dryer lint was blown out of the duct. I would highly recommend this service to others.
