Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning

I was extremely pleased with Lowe's Air Duct Cleaning. He called before he came & he was on time. He took off his shoes when he entered the house. He took before & after pictures with his smart phone to show me the difference that the cleaning had done. He was very through. I would highly recommend this company.

My experience went fine. They were clean and they were on time for the appointment. The technician was very friendly and scheduling was fine. The price was reasonable for the service they provided.

Our babysitter was home when he came. I assume it went well. My wife has allergies and we have a cat, so we thought this would help.

The company contacted me very soon after the contract (it was on "special" through Angie's List) was made and a date and time for the work was immediately established. Several days later the company representative, Constantine, called about 30 minutes before the established time and arrived to start work. His first task was to take a look at the furnace and each vent in the house. After explaining what he was going to do, he set to work, and for the next hour or so performed the task before a second representative, Joe, arrived to join him. The entire job took about two and a half hours of constant work, and the work was thoroughly professional in all respects. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and believe that we received more than what we paid.

One person came but he was supposed to bring two. He said the other employee could not make it. late he was also supposed to come at twelve but did not come until three. However, he did call ahead to let me know he would be late. It took him a long time to complete the work and I think it could have been better if he had another person helping.

It was great! He came on time, cleaned thoroughly!

They wore shoe covers, which was really important given the snowy, slushy ground cover outside. They were fast and thorough, even replacing my air filter. Small thing: There was noticeable debris in the air from one vent as they cleaned, so I had some concern about air quality in that one area. But afterwards, it certainly smelled cleaner when the heat was on.

There were 2 workers who arrived a bit later than the scheduled time. It was towards the end of the day and I was a bit concerned that they might not show at all particularly because we had a lot of snow the previous day. But they did and explained that they had gotten tied up on a previous job in Baltimore if I recall correctly. In any event it was no issue with me as long as they came on the right day. I was a bit surprised that their equipment seemed rather small as I had expected a truck-mounted unit or similar. But they wheeled in what appeared to be a very large vacuum unit. They changed the filter and got right to work. They used some sort of agitator in each vent after removing the covers and sucked out any dust or debris. Using a previously cut square hole in the duct work they attached their machine. (I had this type work done before and so they did not need to cut a new hole.) They worked hard and did a complete job. I was pretty pleased with their work. They seemed to know how to do the work so no problem occurred. It probably was no fault of theirs that by the time they got to my house they looked pretty dirty from previous jobs but they were careful about not getting anything in the house dirty. So I have no complaint about that. Just so people know if they come later in the day they are likely not to be the cleanest. Overall I was happy with the completeness of the job especially for the money as I got a special price through Angies List coupons.

Lowe's, the provider, with whom we had arranged the service - Angie's List Special Deal - called ahead to set up a time window for the day of service. On the day of service the technician called to provide the exact time. The technician was corteous, considerate, thorough. Overall I would rate the job as very good - excellent.. A very good Special Deal - excellent value for money.

The Lowe's tech was punctual and worked efficiently stopping only to show the condition of the ducts and vents before and after, which was a real eye-opener. This was one of the first services we scheduled after getting the keys to our new townhouse and we are very glad we did, because the ducts were filthy and the dryer exhaust was probably 90% clogged with lint (I'm amazed the previous owner didn't burn the place down having seen the exposed pipe with my own eyes). The Lowe's tech also replaced a foil dryer pipe (fire hazard) with a metal one for a very reasonable additional fee. We will definitely be repeat Lowe's customers and highly recommend the duct/dryer vent cleaning to new (and existing) home owners.

They men came into our house, explained how they were going to clean the vents and proceeded to move from room to room cleaning all the vents. They even removed their shoes and pet our dog! All in all they were at our house for about 90 to 2 hours.

Overall, we had a very good experience with this company. Our home is 20 years old and we were experiencing continual dust issues. Lowe's spent the better part of 2 hours cleaning the ductwork. Their people were on-time, courteous and professional. No up-selling either. We are very pleased with the work that they did and would certainly recommend them to others.

They sent me an email a couple of days after I bought the big deal, and I called them to schedule. We have scheduled the appointment for April 14th.

They arrived within the estimated time window and called a few times to update their arrival status. The job took a little over two hours to clean all the ducts and dryer vent. They were very courteous and professional.

I sent in my requested dates on Saturday and by Monday a representative called and said the earliest possible date was on Thursday. When they came the service took about 2 hours and now the air flows like water through the house, which is a big improvement to the molasses that it was before.

I was given a time window. I called to see when I could expect them and they called me back asking if they could come right now. I was home so I said that'd be okay. There were two workers. They were efficient and worked quickly. The only thing I could say was that they didn't clean up afterwards, like vacuum up around the vents and they left the lint from the dryer vent in the backyard. They seemed rushed.

We found a mutually agreeable time for the cleaning. They gave me a 2 hour arrival window and called 30 minutes prior to arrival. They arrived right on time. Constantine was polite and professional. He answered all my questions and explained what each one of his tools did. I showed him all the vents. He noticed one that I had missed. We had one return vent that had a permanent cover -- I had never been able to clean it, and I was hoping that they would show me the secret to getting it off. Unfortunately, it really was permanent, but he explained all the options and solicited my opinion before he started work on it. He was courteous and professional. The cleaning took about 2 hours. He was careful to clean up behind himself, using dropcloths when moving his equipment over the floor or carpet. He was quick, and he was thorough. He did an excellent job! The vents look so much cleaner! I would definitely use Lowe's for this service again.

We bought a big deal to have our air vents cleaned. The provider promptly called us and we scheduled the appointment quickly. On the day of the cleaning, two professions came on time and were quick and efficient. They quickly got to work and they showed us how the vents were before and after. They were friendly and did their job well. Would use them again.

Provider did an excellent job cleaning ac/heat ducts in zone 1. My only complaint is that they left the fan setting on "High" instead of auto so that my fan continued to run for approx. 1 week until I figured out what happened.

He was right on time. He did an excellent job with the air duct cleaning; I think his name was Constantine. He was here for about two hours and cleaned all the ducts and we're very happy with him also. He worked hard the whole time he was here. It seemed like he had done an excellent job. I was very satisfied.

The gentleman that I spoke with was very nice, but I did not like that they were so far away. I thought that it was Lowe's Home Improvement, but they are actually not connected in any way. Which caught me off guard.

It took a few days to initially set up the appointment, but, other than that, it was a very good job. We were very satisfied.
