We recently had a major problem with the electrical system in our Heartland MPG Travel trailer. Southwest RV Services quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. The service was professional, efficient, friendly and courteous. Based on the quality and timeliness of the service we received we highly recommend Southwest RV Services.

I had completed the camping season and didn't need my trailer back until Spring. I dropped it off on December 1, and they informed me they had a couple of jobs ahead of mine so it might be a while. I was in no hurry and this was fine with me. I had several things on my list and they really took the time to understand what the issues were. I checked with them the week before Christmas to see how it was going, and they told me they would start on it after the holidays. I told them that was fine. They called me twice during the repair job shortly after new years to ask questions and make sure they were getting it fixed correctly. I was happy about this because I knew they were actually trying to make sure it was fixed right. Another place had inspected the brakes and dismissed the problem insisting that it must have been my tow vehicle. About a week later they called and told me everything was done. They traced the water leak to a loose supply pipe, apparently the manufacturer "forgot" to put a clamp on it. Turned out 2 of the brake drums were out of round and had to be turned, which fixed the braking problem. When I went to pick the unit up, everything was in order and they spent time helping me hook the trailer up. He also explained how I can better adjust the sway bar. After leaving, I was happy the brake pulsating was fixed, but I was a little worried I wasn't getting enough braking power on the trailer. I returned and Scott(the owner)drove my truck/trailer around the parking lot and then asked that we go out on the road to see how it does. Turns out it was fine, I just didn't fully understand how my brake controller worked. Generally it is hard to find a respectable, honest, trustworthy RV repair shop. I would recommend you give Southwest RV a try.
