It went very well. Scheduling was easy. They were prompt and they were able to do tasks without supervision. Our items were treated very well. They were outstanding.

They arrived, disassembled, padded, and packed the truck with our furniture. They moved it to our new location and took every conceivable precaution to make sure nothing was damaged. We have a great deal of money tied up in our furniture and were thrilled with the level of care provided.

We had to rush to find a new moving company when our previous mover was unable to complete our move on the scheduled date due to an error on their part. Moving Ahead Services came to the rescue and provided the necessary men and equipment to get our move completed in a timely manner. I would have them move us again in a heart beat. The team they sent were kind and courteous. The guys went to work immediately without any hesitation. The elevator was out of service but that didn't matter these guys were ready. I wish to commend RYAN GUST and GALVIN BONNER the men that were sent. Let me just say OUTSTANDING JOB WELL DONE. I will ask for these guys if and when I move again. Thank you So Much.

Overall things went well. All team members were courteous and professional. Movers were prompt and accurate with show times and delivery times. They stored our stuff for a month and it was all delivered in good condition except for a table and a dryer, for which they promptly reimbursed us for repairs. Could have been a bit more careful with how things were packed, but still can't complain too much since very little was damaged. Was very happy to find this company with short notice.

The service went really well. They moved some light household goods into storage for us. They did exactly what the deal stated. I believe two movers came out for the job. They were very efficient and cheerful workers. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

This is the third time using Moving Ahead Services LLC and I'm pleased once again. Its not a fluke, its the same each time. These guys are prompt, professional, personable and respectful. They hustle but are not reckless. I sell real estate and I'm confident in referring them to my clients with their moves as well.

It went awesome! The guys showed up on time at 9am. We had some owner caused delays so they didn't start charging us until they actually started work around 10am. Then when they started they never stopped except for a 30min lunch (which they didn't charge us the time for that either). They hustled the entire time yet were very careful with all of our furniture. It was definitely money well spent. They made three trips back and forth from our old house to our new house and finally wrapped it up for the day around 9:30pm. Our original price was just over $1900 but with our 10% Angie's List discount we were down around $1700. This was money well spent. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone.

They were efficient and very careful and they communicated very well. They do offer a packing service as well but we packed everything ourselves. There were not any extra fees or anything, and it was actually cheaper than we thought it was going to be. It was a very positive experience, we were very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is the 5th major move for our family in 35 years. In the past, we contracted with 4 well-known, national companies, and this company surpassed them all in professionalism, quality of work, efficiency, preparation and materials, and genuine interest in making our move as smooth as possible. They returned calls and e-mails in less than 8 hours. They moved our Steinway grand piano with more attention than we received from a specialist piano moving company many years ago, and we were the only family on their trucks. They went door-to-door; we loaded on Thursday and unloaded on Saturday. The team supervisor was there beginning to end. We know that when we return to Ohio, we will call them to move us back. AND, we found them on Angie's List - pure gold, and worth every penny!

I had to move my sister's apartment contents into storage for her. I gave the company very short notice, but they were able to accommodate me with a 16 ft. truck and three men two days later. The guys showed up on time and were prompt and friendly. As soon as I signed the necessary waivers, they got straight to work and carried out a lot of pre-packed boxes and furniture at a pace that was fast, considering the apartment was on the third floor and had no elevator and was packed with the equivalent of a 3 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff. This was a lot of physical labor involving many trips up and down three flights of stairs. We got the place emptied and stored in an Uncle Bob's self-storage five miles away in four and three quarter hours billed time. A portion of that time was paid for by a deal on Angies list. The actual time was a bit more, but they stopped the clock for a couple of breaks they needed (as I said, this was very hard physical work because of all the stairs). Overall, I'm very pleased with how they did the work and charged for the time. Good guys.

Wonderful experience, we found Moving Ahead services on Angies list emailed for a quote received one promptly. Since this was our first time using a moving service I had a lot of questions and they always promptly answered. We decided to use their services to our new home across town. The day of the move we had two trucks and one truck went to our storage units and one to our home they did not waste anytime and got to work right away , they were polite professional and handled all our items with care. We had a great team and can't thank them enough for all their help. We would definitely use Moving Ahead Services again and highly recommend them to anyone moving :-)

We found this company on Angie's list and were impressed by the quality of the reviews. We purchased the Angie's list deal ($225 for 2 movers with a 16ft truck for 2 hours). I called to schedule using the deal, and the scheduler (after listening to the details of my move) talked me into using the value of the deal (~$400) towards a different number of movers (3) and a bigger truck (27ft). And, he was right...perfect number of movers, perfect sized truck, great experience all around. Some details - We moved most of the small furniture and boxes ourselves. I wanted to hire someone to move the big, heavy, bulky stuff. I bought the Angie's list deal and figured we would have to keep the 2 movers around for a few hours past the 2 hour initial window. When I called to schedule and explained what I planned to have moved, how long we had (we were moving in the morning and closing in the afternoon), and other details, the Moving Ahead Services representative suggested a 27ft truck and 3 movers instead of the 16ft and 2. The $225 deal would cover the first hour, basically. I was a little skeptical, but the rep was right. 3 movers loaded, drove a few miles, and unloaded the 27ft truck in exactly 3 hours. And, they busted their butts the whole time. Total cost including the $225 deal was about $550. Totally worth it, in my opinion. More details - A Moving Ahead Services rep called me at 7pm the night before the move to confirm the start time. I liked that. The crew arrived right on time at 8AM. Two of the guys started working right away while I filled out some paperwork with the third guy. They started the clock AFTER the paperwork was finished. They worked hard. They were very careful with the walls and used furniture pads and plastic wrap on everything. They even put a big pad on the frame of the front door. Final small detail: The guys on the crew called me "sir" the whole time which was just one more sign to me that professionalism has been instilled in them.

Beautifully. Joel and Alex were prompt, cheerful, courteous and thoroughly professional throughout. They handled antiques, weird configurations in the industrial loft and the long hallways easily and without mishaps. We had a last minute schedule change but the office had no problem accommodating us. This is the third time we have used Moving Ahaed Services and we will most definitely call on them any time we need moving help in the future.

Moving Ahead Services was efficient, polite, and professional. I was also drawn to them because, unlike other moving companies I inquired with, they had a flat rate and didn't hint that there "might be additional fees upon delivery." I would absolutely recommend this company.

They were exceptional. From the beginning to the end. When the guys came out they realized they'd need a bigger truck and because there hadn't been a walk-through not only were they approved to make two trips but also took items I wasn't keeping to get rid of for me. I had three guys instead of two and they were on time, handled all the calls (Desmond did) re: the truck issue, and when I got behind after the first drop they even helped with a couple of wardrobe boxes. Good natured, polite, easy going and careful with every item double checking what was going and what was not.

We have moved on various previous occ. and this was by far the most enjoyable and effective move with no issues whatsoever. John W. was the crew chief and he was excellent--went way beyond the ordinary to make for a fantastic moving experience. The whole team did a great job with no problems. All our questions were answered, they called to notify us when they were in transit, they were effective, efficient, professional and pleasant to work with. We had an antique dresser with weak legs and they were careful and professional in handling and transporting this without damage. They worked quickly and efficiently, yet very carefully, without doing any damage to walls or belongings. We worked with the Willoughby, Ohio office since they were closer to where the moving process began. I give my highest recommendation regarding this company and plan on using them again.

This company is incredible. Adam, Alex and Roger are hard working and careful. They treated our moving as if it was their own personal property. They went the extra mile in so many ways e.g. they got the parking pass needed in Boston before we arrived. Jeff, the president, was also very good to work with.

We had the greatest guys pack and move us. Jarod was the head mover. He packed and moved our house to NC along with his team of guys. Can not say enough about how helpful these guys were! We ended up having to get another truck, but all worked out.

The move was the best move we have ever had. It started with calling to make the appt. You can tell over the phone that these guys know their stuff and are super organized. They asked me questions about the move I never even thought of. Then based on my answers they were able to recommend the best price for what we needed. The guys Jered, Bob, Jermey, and Ryan G called ahead of time to let us know they were on their way. They were exactly on time and very courteous and professional. They treated our stuff as if it was their own. They wrapped furniture to ensure it wouldn't get damaged. They worked 6 hours straight and didn't even take a lunch. They moved us out of an apartment along with 2 storage garages to our new home. When we got to the home, they stopped with each box to ask us where it needed to go. They even asked my son where in his room he wanted specific things to go. They went above and beyond all the while having a great attitude. I never heard them complain once. I would use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone! Great company!

They worked very hard. They were efficient and they were careful with my belongings. They were pleasant to work with. I was very pleased with them. They had a separate thing. One reason why I chose them was they said that they have some people who would clean your house. The cleaning crew gets an "F."
