They were prompt and friendly. We had three guys who worked very hard. No damage to our belongings. I also appreciated the estimate they were able to give me over the phone as far as how many movers they would recommend and the time frame to expect.

Moving ahead did a great job for us! We couldn't of asked for anything more from the guys they sent. We prioritized the things we needed moved the most and they came in on time, worked hard and quickly to get the job done. Nothing was broken during the move and they packed things safely and efficiently. They really helped us get a lot done in a short amount of time. I would highly recommend them!

The movers were awesome! On-time (early even). Very professional and easy to work with as well. They moved everything with ease and even many things that werent boxed up properly without any fuss. Only very very minor scuffing on anything which is a miracle to anyone who has moved alot. I would gladly recommend to anyone moving in/around Columbus; they were efficient, prompt, easy to work with and a great value.

Well, I thought I had clearly outlined the dimensions and the heaviness of the object that was supposed to be moved (was a fully assembled playhouse, 4 foot by 7 foot). Apparently, they were planning to dismantle the entire thing and get it moved in a regular truck which wouldn't work. SO - I have a partial fence (we have a puppy so leaving it open is a big deal) because we removed sections expecting delivery today and a shop teacher who isn't very happy because today is the last day of school and the item was supposed to be gone today. Now I'm scrambling to find someone who can complete the job. They were very apologetic and didn't charge me anything, but I feel like I had communicated the needs of my move pretty clearly.

Galvin B., Darrian B., and Marcus T. arrived on time and quickly loaded everything from our old home. We then drove to our storage unit and loaded up the other half of our things from a 10x10 storage unit. They did a great job packing as everything fit. We then drove to our house and everything was put exactly where I asked. All three did a great job, I would use them again.

I think they were fairly reasonable. I think they were a little bit slower to respond.

Curtis, Brandon and Marcus were great. They were able to move us from our 2 story home in Lewis Center, to our new 2 story home in London Oh in 3 hours. They were fast and efficient and we will definitely use moving ahead services again in the future. We used another moving provider in the past and wanted to try another provider because our experience wasn't so great. We are so glad we found moving ahead services. You can't beat the price and the quality of work.

The guys did a great job with our move. They were kind, punctual, and careful. The move went very quickly. I was surprised at how much it really helped us to hire movers, it was the first time we ever did. It is so much easier than trying to round up reluctant friends. There was some confusion over how much we owed at the end of the move. The final price did not reflect what we agreed upon. My husband had signed the paperwork and paid the bill while I was picking our kids up from school. I planned to call the company right away to get the price changed. Before I could even make the call, I saw our bank card had been charged the lower price. That's pretty honest of a company to realize their mistake before you do and change the price to customer's benefit.

I would highly recommend these guys for the quality of their product, their excellent customer service, and their reasonable price. It was an excellent experience overall. I was particularly impressed with how helpful they were in the preparation of the move. They were very responsive, great about answering questions, and we really liked that they were an end to end supplier, who didn't hand off our possessions to a subcontractor, even for a very long move like this. Even the gentleman driving the truck called us from the road in the middle of the move to make sure everything was OK, and to coordinate drop off of our things. The load and unload was fast, and professional. They were a bit late arriving for load up, but more than made up for it by really throwing a lot of people at the job, and ended up finishing well ahead of schedule. Unload was on-time, very smooth, and very fast. A couple of minor things were damaged during the move, but for a move of this distance, I really expected more problems. Overall, I was absolutely delighted by the condition our possessions arrived in, and the care that was taken with them. In particular, I have several delicate musical instruments that I was quite concerned about moving, and they took REALLY good care of these, as well as our computers, and our framed art work - all things I thought might be vulnerable. I've heard a lot of horror stories about moving, but these guys did everything they could to make their part of what is inevitably a stressful experience and smooth and professional as I could ask for. .

Great. The two men that moved me, Donnie and Pierre, were on time. They were also polite and finished the job quickly. I'd use this business again.

These guys were awesome! They arrived promptly at 9, went over the contract with me, looked over where I needed things moved and got started right away. Very professional and seemed well trained in how to handle the piano and all the stairs. They wrapped my Mom's 1964 piano in plastic wrap, then covered in blankets and strapped it securely to a dolly. They offered without charge to lay down plastic wrap on the stairs to protect the carpet from the rubber wheels. They were very careful with all of my furniture and were done in an hour and a half. I have moved 9 times in 30 years and I would recommend this company for any moving needs.

The crew packed, moved, and unloaded our home. The crew was fast, efficient, friendly, and extremely professional. The move-out and move-in homes were both 19th-century homes with difficult conditions (narrow hallways, steep stairs, etc.). Although the moves were challenging due to the configuration of the homes, the crew was positive throughout. Because of the challenging move conditions, there was a bit of minor cosmetic damage during the move. Matt quickly and efficiently responded to address the minor damage completely and was committed to ensuring we were completely satisfied. I'd definitely recommend Moving Ahead for future moves!

This was the easiest thing I've arranged in a long time. I sent a message to Andrew and he responded in less than 24 hours. The movers were extremely punctual, friendly and accommodating. We moved a small apartment to 3 separate locations ALL IN 2 HOURS! They were great to work with. I will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Great. Two young men that did the move were on time and were able to move all contents in the time allotted under the deal I purchased. Moving out of old apartment was a challenge because it was on the 3rd floor of building without elevator, that had a 2nd floor landing but not with a direct step egress. The movers went about their work efficiently without any complaints. I would definitely use this company again.

I am very satisfied with the service provided given the price we payed. I quoted 3 moves total and Moving Ahead came in $500 less expensive than the next quote before I purchased the Angie's list coupon. After filling out brief questionnaire via email, the rep sent a firm Flat Rate quote to do all the work in one day. I was nervous given the brevity of the questions but according to the rep, if it can fit in the truck, it would be included in the price. In the end, all the work was completed for the original price. They sent the 26' truck with a 3 man crew of very large guys (think college football players- we even confirmed that one of them played). The guys knew how to pack a truck and there was plenty of space left over. I did not give Moving Ahead all A's because the crew showed up 1.5 hours late according to my confirmation sheet. I was told 11AM start via email(no window), the lead's sheet said 11AM- 12PM start, they showed up at 12:30PM. Not a big issue except I wish they would have called to let me know they were running late. It was a Saturday and could not get a hold of the crew via the office number so I was panicking about them not coming. I would suggest Moving Ahead train their leads to do a courtesy call 30 min before the crew arrives whether or not they are running late. Overall, I am very happy with the rate and service and would use them again.

Movers were nice and very professional. Initial miscommunication with person scheduling service that their movers could disconnect and reconnect gas range. The movers could not so we had to wait on someone to come and disconnect the gas range so that all appliances could be moved. I also felt that the movers were not equipped with the proper sized dolly to move a large refrigerator. With all of the bumps in the process they remained diligent, helpful, and creative throughout the process.

I originally signed up for Angie's List due to a move I was making from Cincinnati to Columbus. Not knowing anyone to ask for recommendations I signed up and it's been a great service. Moving Ahead was one of the first companies I used based on Angie's List reviews and they certainly lived up to all the reviews. The crew was driving down from Columbus and was a little delayed from the expected arrival time but the lead called to explain the situation and gave me the new time that they'd be at my house. Each member of the crew introduced themselves to me individually and were very friendly, courteous and professional throughout the day. Since it was supposed to rain later in the day they were very aware and pushed to get my things loaded and on the road quickly. It probably took about 8 hours from the time they arrived to the time we got to Columbus and the trucks unloaded so I thought that was great. The total cost came in under what was originally quoted which was also a bonus! I had a couple of broken glasses/dishes and a knob on my washer was broken but no other damage. Since I had 2 trucks I thought that was fantastic. It was a great experience and I'd certainly recommend them to anyone.

They were very professional. One came out to walk through the house to give us a price pre-move, and that was the exact price that we paid...no hidden fees. A crew of 6 loaded up the truck in record time (after prepping all the furniture). The next day a crew of 7 were at the new house and had everything unloaded and put back in under 3 hours! We will never use another moving company again, Moving Ahead Services will be our go to company in the future. We have moved many, many times and have never had the kind of service and satisfaction that Moving Ahead gave us. You will be very satisfied if you use this company~!

They were on time and worked at a fast pace. Broke a saw and did finally send 1 part but I had to buy the rest. Found lots of other damage to tools and furniture.

They did a fabulous job. Two movers came out and completed the job in 2 hours. The entire move went smoothly and was a great process. They are a wonderful company and scheduling was easy.

They were extremely helpful. I'm almost 65 and they were able to get into the crawl spaces where we have boxes of old things. They helped me get things out of the tight spaces where I could not reach. They took confidential documents to the shredding company, while I took old, unwanted items to Goodwill. They were very professional. Galvin Donner was the crew leader and did an excellent job. Curtis was another employee who did a great job as well. They were 20 minutes early and were done around noon. The whole process only took four hours. It was an excellent experience. Angie's List found the service through their Concierge department since it was such a specific job.

The service was great. I thought the guys worked really hard. They did a great job wrapping the furniture that they moved. They were flexible. We had sort of a unique situation of where we were moving things and so they were flexible in moving things where we wanted them to be moved. They were efficient and timely. So, they were good. Actually, it is still in storage so we are not quite sure that something is broken, but I think everything is fine. The cost was quite a bit more than the $225 Big Deal because we ended up with four guys and a 32-foot or 36-foot truck.

I received several quotes before my move, most of these from well-known national moving companies. Although these companies are all successful, I felt that I had to make my arrangements around their schedule. Moving Ahead Services truly made me feel like I was their only customer. My move required, all told, the work of over 10 men. They all performed above and beyond my expectations. The initial upload in Cleveland occurred during a bad winter snowstorm, and the guys approached the work as if it were any other day. I was truly impressed, and I would recommend them for any move. They were reliable, affable, and took great care of my furnishings. I recommend them without hesitation, and would use them for any future moves.
