Kelly's Carpet And Flooring

First the positive...the flooring looks amazing and the installers were professional and courteous. My issue, and why I’m giving a negative review, is for the owner Kelly. Without going into every little detail, it comes down to he did not accept responsibility for a blatant error he made (not measuring the master bedroom) and for his poor lack of communication in dealing with all the issues that occurred (delayed trucks, etc.) Although he took a whole $200 off the final bill, it fell very short on the problems he incurred for us as we were getting our home ready to list and were delayed going on the market because of his negligence and poor business ethics.

Kelly came in and did our estimate himself- he was in and out in 20 minutes hand measuring everything, while we picked from his luxury vinyl planking. He emailed us a breakdown of the estimate a few hours later- it was the cheapest we found. He was quick, professional, and NOT a salesman - a true contractor type of guy, no BS. We decided to go with Kelly & his guys. We pinned a date down within 2 weeks of telling him we want to book. They were quick, professional, and did very quality work! We love our new floors! We are so grateful to Kelly and his team. We will definitely use him again for future projects.

Excellent. Exceeded our expectations. Their workmanship was outstanding. We are very pleased with the quality of the product and the skill of the installation. We have a large kitchen-dining-hallway-bath- laundry room area. They were able to install the vinyl with only one small seam and with utmost precision, all in less than a day. From their samples, we were able to find high quality vinyl in the pattern/color we were hoping for. We looked at several competitors. Kelly's price was by far the best.

Kelly was very attentive to our desired look we were seeking, even though we didn't have a firm idea of how to achieve it. Through some discussion in his shop, and an on-site visit, Kelly recommended 1 primary options and 2 secondary options, that may have worked. In the end, we chose the primary option, after he left some samples with us. We then scheduled the work and put 50% down. Kelly was running a bit busy, so it took about 1 month for the installation to occur. Once installation started, we were amazed at the speed and quality of his crew's work. They estimated 5 days, and it took 4 days, to remove all of the old flooring, move furniture around, and install the new flooring. In total, we had 1400-1500 sq. ft. of flooring installed, between the main floor and upstairs. We couldn't be happier. Thank you for Kelly and his crew!

Experience was horrible. He was rude over the phone and said he “doesn’t have time for small jobs that do not buy his material.” (I wanted to buy carpet and padding myself).?’ Very unprofessional!

Kelly is awesome to work with. He came out and measured and showed me samples of what he suggested. When I asked about another carpet, he was able to get it and match the price quoted by another company. I had to reschedule on him twice because of tenants still being in the unit, but he worked with me and was able to meet the new schedule each time. After the tenants moved out we realized we needed to replace the vinyl in an area that we weren't planning on and they added that part without any issue or delay. Two guys came and had all the flooring done in 2 days. Will be using again soon!!!

Very smoothly. Kelly did the whole deal himself -- he personally measured the job, sold the product, scheduled the installation, and arranged for an excellent install crew (Jim, Marvin & Terry). Everything was done on time.

Excellent job from beginning to end. The crew did an awesome job keeping me informed, finished in the time they had estimated, and did a beautiful and meticulous job. Overall it was a very positive experience and I plan to hire them again in the future.

Terrible! We received a text message to cancel our in-home estimate AFTER the scheduled arrival home. I understand things come up and would have been open to rescheduling. It's been over a week and I've yet to hear anything from the company about setting up a new appointment time.

We just had a great experience with Kelly's Carpet and his installation crew. The carpet looks great, was reasonably priced and the installation crew was very good. We will be using them again in the future.

We were preparing our home for sale & were in need of new carpeting in the stairway, as well as upstairs hall. Instead of using a "big name" company, I wanted to try a local vendor. From the beginning, Kelly was responsive / helpful. He called the day after I e-mailed a request for an appointment and was able to come to our house the following day to measure. After measuring & discussing what I wanted, Kelly said he had exactly what I was looking for & would provide the pricing estimate the following morning (which he did). Knowing I wanted the job done quickly, he was able to schedule it in a timely manner & everything was done less than a week after my initial inquiry. The installers were friendly & efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I have nothing but positive things to say about Kelly & his team!!

Flooring turned out beautiful, better than I could have ever imagined. We are incredibly happy with the look of the flooring, the installers were awesome too and very customer service oriented. The original installation timeline was a long wait and I was in a rush to get the flooring installed sooner, they were very accommodating in scheduling the installation sooner and thankfully they had pockets of time available to do it. Would definitely use Kelley's again.

This company was recommended by our realtor to help us replace a small section of carpet on our basement stairs. They did a great job! Very professional and efficient. We wish we had contracted with them to do more work on the house instead of doing it ourselves. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Setting up an appointment was easy and Kelly brought samples for us to look at and I immediately found a few I liked. I felt his prices and timing was good. The men who came to do the work seemed professional. My only complaint is that where the carpeted floors meet the wood floors, staples were left sticking out in multiple places. I have a toddler and am lucky he didn't cut his foot. I hammered them down and everything is fine now. The second time I reached out to Kelly for help with another project, he wasn't too responsive. He never followed up after I told him what I wanted, though I never pushed it because we ended up not needing him again after all.

We are very happy...everything came out great. Would definitely recommend this business.

Kelly was recommended separately by our realtor and a friend. He met with me at the house I was purchasing looked over things carefully, and wrote several estimates for the flooring in our office (I was eager to add tile or hardwoods to this carpeted space, so Kelly wrote estimates for each, and carpet too). His team worked around our closing schedule, and everything was move-in ready on time. I have recommended the business several times in the last 18 months. This company exceeded my expectations at every turn.

We had them install hardwood flooring. We new what brand, wood, and color we wanted and got four quotes. Kelly's was less by a few hundred dollars and since they had been recommended by a friend we contracted them to do the job. They did excellent work, took very good care to keep things clean and we are very pleased. I might add that their showroom, if you could call it that, isn't what you would expect. But if you know what material you want installed, give them a call.

The service and price was good. I had a good experience with them and I don’t have any dislikes. They did a nice job on the installation.; what else could you ask for? They were very competitive in terms of price. They were there when they said they would be. Their professionalism was very good.

We needed new carpeting for our entire upstairs (three bedrooms and a hallway) plus the stairs leading both upstairs and down into the basement. We also needed new flooring in the two bathrooms upstairs. We visited the showroom (really, a warehouse) to choose the type/quality of carpet and the flooring. Kelly brought the sample case with him when he came to measure the rooms so we could choose a color that would work best with our lighting/walls/baseboard. Kelly was professional and friendly while he was here to measure for the estimate. The installer arrived on time and did everything himself, with the exception of carrying the heavy carpet rolls upstairs (Kelly himself stopped by to help him with that). Installation took two full days, but we are very pleased with both the quality of the carpet and flooring and the installation. Now, two months later, we are still happy with the decision.

I called last Thursday for an estimate. The person I needed to speak with was out and was told he would call me back on Friday. I never received a call on Friday, so I called them back. Again, I was told I would be called back and never was. By the time they did call me on Monday, I had another company doing the work.

I actually had them give me an estimate for another carpet and they were expensive on that one. Their carpet installers did a really good job but the carpet sales person, I wasn’t happy with. I wouldn’t use them again just because of the sales person, but the carpet installers were really good. The installers were punctual but the sales person wasn’t. The installers’ professionalism was excellent but the sales person was not that much.

We used these guys before in our last house and both times were great experiences. This time was for the newly finished basement. We did the stairs, bedroom and media room. Both Kelly and Michelle are very knowledgeable having worked in the industry for a while and we knew we were getting a good product. We of course did our due diligence and also got a quote from the big box store. The carpet we chose from Kelly's was $1.00 more expensive but over all total cost was still cheaper than the big box! So I like that you don't get nickeled and dimed for the "fru fru" stuff. And Michelle met us out at the house at 6pm, brought samples, measured and gave us a quote that same night. I also think the big box store over estimates how much you will need as there was at least 80 sq ft difference between the two quotes. Installation was great, they showed up on time and cleaned it all up afterwards. We highly recommend!

Kelly's has a nice stock of remnants, so I contacted them. They were very prompt for the appointment. They measured and brought five remnants to my home. The work was done exactly as promised and remained in our price range. The remnant was beautiful and of very high quality.

We had some kitchen remodeling done and followed up with new laminate flooring to cover the existing vinyl flooring. The job went well, overall. The installer was conscientious, attentive to detail and focused on making the floor look good. The job was bigger than originally anticipated and it took a little longer to complete it; however, the installer was terrific about persevering to get the job done before family arrived for Thanksgiving. There were a couple things that required attention after the job was completed and the installer was happy to come back to take care of them.

They did a very good job and I was very satisfied with their work. I am going to have them do some more work for me. They provided quality work. They were friendly and straight forward about the products and the work to be done.
