They did an excellent job. They were very helpful with information on the new opener and the features available for that.

Needed two overhead garage door openers replaced with side jack/side mounted openers. Lisa was prompt answering my call when I was getting estimates from local companies...not only did she give me a very swift estimate but also was the only company I called that took the time to actually ask me for more details of my current garage door setup and my needs overall...she was very thorough but quick in making both sides feel they had a good grasp of the project at hand. Furthermore, she also was the only company that inform me to call them back if I could find a lower price (their price ended up being best). The installer showed up promptly to complete the install as scheduled...however due to a few issues such as a faulty locking mechanism he was unable to complete the project while there and had to return the next working day (I appreciate making sure I had fully functional parts so there wouldn't be issues and didn't mind waiting the extra day. While finishing the install the next day I also made the decision to have the steel wheels replaced with new nylon wheel (I highly recommend the nylon wheels...my door is extremely quiet now) I made sure new wiring and sensors were installed and everything is working well and as expected. I am very happy with the new openers and wheels. I did have a slight issue with the crew showing up on time when they came back but I will say the owner James was extremely swift and kind in correcting the issue and making me a happy customer. Overall I enjoyed my experience with Columbus Garage Door Co and I would call them again for their services.

Anthony arrived on time, performed the garage door tune-up, answered my questions, and gave a suggestion. Unfortunately, I didn't get outside to the garage to remove my car before he started spraying lubricant on the opener. After I brought to his attention where excess lubricant had dripped on the roof of my car, he promptly wiped it off. However; I didn't notice until a couple days later that excess lubricant had also dripped from the opener (while the door was opened) onto at least 3 areas of the exterior side of the garage door. I removed the drippings but there are grayish stains on those areas. 1/12/2018 I spoke to James (Columbus Ohio Garage Door Co.) about the stains. Since the weather was bad, I told him I don't expect anyone to come to my home that day. He said he would have someone come to my home next week and it won't be necessary for me to be home. 1/23/2018 Anthony used dish detergent to try to remove the stains but wasn't successful.

Did what was required and everything is working well.

Incredible experience from top to bottom. Called in a panic at night because door would not open. James answered and squeezed me in even though they were full. Came out and was incredible with price and payment. On a personal level, was very courteous of situations and offered sincerity and prayers. I would never think of contacting anyone else for this type of service.

Appt window was from 8-12. Showed up at 11:55 and was done by 12:05.

I can only assume it went well. The garage door works fine. In the future, I would make different arrangements, since I was not present to see the garage door opener being serviced. I did send specific directions, but apparently they weren't passed on to the technician. I had to give directions since the highway department took out my mailbox with one of their plows, and they furnished me with a makeshift one--hence no numbers. The technician came after dark and pounded on the door (he said) but got no responce, so he went ahead and did the work. My house is 133 years old and has walls that are a foot thick, so you cannot hear someone at the door. I never heard the doorbell ring. I was inside because it was after their worktime (2-5) and I did not expect anyone. When I went outside at 5:30 to feed my animals, he was finishing up. So, I never did see him do the work. The technician was very knowledgeble and had a good personality.

They had one on truck and put it in and finished and gone in less then 45 min.

The work was just completed yesterday so I don't know the long-term results, but it does appear to be opening completely and not slamming down on the ground/floor any longer. While there are not too many complications/moving parts to a garage door tune up, I was surprised that it took such a short time and my sense is that the lubrication consisted of applying WD-40 to the tracks/wheels. I purchased the tune up for $39 but the original price was in excess of $100 which seems high for the amount of work that was performed. Having said all that, the door does work (as it did prior to the tune up) but the repairman did adjust the door opening which is definitely something that was a benefit that I am not sure that I could have done on my own.

Tune up performed consisted of oiling the chain drive and aligning the safety sensors. Assured us the noise would lessen with time as oil worked in. Tech dropped the light cover on the motor and broke it. Left it for me in 2 pieces to try to glue it back together. Did not have either the weather stripping nor the transponders on his truck. said he would report it and they would call for another visit or I could call.

The work was done on time and in a professional manner. A lot of good information was also provided about how to prevent problems in the future and how to best keep things in working order myself. I would recommend using Columbus Ohio Garage Door Co if you need work done.

Sprayed with lubricant and adjusted power settings. Works fine now.

Called me 10 minutes out to let me know on their way; performed garage door inspection; explained what he was doing and what I should do as maintenance on my part during the year; answered my questions; fixed the opener light, and reset key pad; and at my request and at extra cost beyond Deal...replaced defective garage door seal. Top notch job and very professional.

Anthony was great, he lubed all moving parts and replaced a cable in under 30 minutes. He also advised us how to keep the door working well with routine maintenance.

After the tune-up. it moved as smoothly and quietly as when it was new. The technician was professional and really knew his business. He gave me several good tips on maintaining my door. It went great! The service guy was super nice and knowledgeable. He was able to fix thing very quickly and inspected everything and gave me honest opinions and answers. He DIDN'T try and sell me anything, he just answered my questions and gave me helpful advice! Great company to work with!!
