A perfect experience! They were able to schedule our garage promptly and came out to maintain, tighten all the garage door hinges, springs, etc. I had been having trouble with the door sticking and they went the extra mile to help me understand the problem, correct it and tell me what to look for in the future. I was thrilled with the service by James and team. Great work -- highly recommended!

Lisa called me promptly after I put in an order through Angie's List, and scheduled me for amutually agreeable time. Anthony and James arrived promptly as scheduled and inspected the bad garage door opener and gave me several options. I went with the option of replacing - rather than repairing -- the broken unit, and they had everything up and running perfectly within an hour as promised. They also inspected and greased the other door systems that were otherwise OK. Really terrific service and I will use them whenever I need garage door services in the future. I a completely satisfied and highly recommend them to everyone who needs garage door services.

They were very nice and helpful. For $40 I wasn't expecting a whole lot but they did answer all of my questions and let me know why my opener was acting up. I would use them again.

Anthony and James were both very professional. They examined my garage door and lubricated the springs, rollers and chain. When I told them about an issue I was experiencing they took the time to check it out. They explained what was happening and also stated that a repair was not needed at this time. I appreciated that they did not try to sell me something I didn't need. They also provided maintenance tips that I could do to keep my door running smoothly. I would use Columbus Ohio Garage Door again in the future.

Our garage doors seemed to be getting louder so we wanted to have them tuned up. The Columbus Garage Door company had an Angie's List deal that I purchased on Wednesday 10.28. They called to schedule me within an hour and they had an opening on Thursday 10.29. I was given a scheduling window in the afternoon and two gentlemen showed up right on time. They worked on both doors and gave me some tips on preventative maintenance. I wouldn't hesitate to use this provider again for future garage door needs.

The job went extremely well. The two young men were Robert and James who service our garage door. They both were very professional and very nice. Explained what they were doing and were very helpful. IWe would highly recommend this companyand Robert and James. Thanks!!

This job was part of house-for-sale remediation list. I bought the Big Deal and got a new opener the very next day. The guys were on time and very efficient. I could not be happier.

We purchased the garage door tune-up thru Angies List for $39.00 because it was closing a little lop sided. We also knew we would need a new garage door opener because ours was ten years old and the key pad didn't work. We purchased the LiftMaster opener and they installed it. They also oiled the garage door and tightened it to the wall. They did an excellent job and were prompt and professional. The new garage opener is great. It is very quiet. One of the installers even did the programming for the car opener in the car. We are very satisfied and it works great.

Update 10/27/15 Their nearly-perfect score is now perfect! Columbus Ohio Garage Door came out and fixed the sensor wiring today. My garage door works! Also, they have been very helpful with garage door selections (catalog, sample garage door and colors, and estimates.) Great service means we will be looking forward to working with them in the next few months on three new garage doors to replace our 30-year old doors! 10/20/15 They were unable to fix the problem and said it was not the sensors. However, they lubed the other two garage door tracks and advised us on safety precautions for the springs. I let them know that all three doors were being replaced early in 2016, so they made some recommendations. Although I was disappointed that the sensors could not be fixed, I appreciate that they were able to see the wear on the springs and give us DIY safety suggestions in the meantime.

OK, but the garage door did not squeak that day as it was opened and closed, and today it is squeaking again.

Two men came and showed up within the time frame requested. They were polite and respectful and I felt safe with them there. They completed the service and told me how to maintain good operation of the garage door. They also told me what to look for and what to do in case of failure. I was pleased with their work and would use them again.

After purchasing the big deal, I was contacted by Columbus Ohio Garage Door. After scheduling a date, the company did not show. I will admit I was not thrilled after taking time off work. After speaking with Lisa, it was confirmed that I was mistakenly scheduled on the wrong day. Usually, this is how the bad reviews start. But Lisa and the company legitimately felt awful about the mix up and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied, even offering a Saturday appointment which they typically do not do. She was in constant communication with me and eager to find a time to get me rescheduled. We agreed on 10/20 and the guys came out and quickly diagnosed the problem, lubed the garage doors, and made the appropriate adjustments in no time at all. I actually learned a lot about the mechanics of the door and since they are old, they explained things to look for and gave me maintenance instructions to do on my own. They were fantastic and this is a company that truly does care about their reputation and customer satisfaction. So after a bit of a rocky start, I would absolutely recommend this company and will use them in the future when I replace my old garage doors.

We had a mix-up on the scheduling, but they arrived 30 mins after I placed a followup call. The garage door was balanced, oiled, and all tightened up within 30 mins. Other than the scheduling mix-up, no complaints!

Set appointment via Angie's List; they called to confirm date and 5-hour window for service. (Which I thought was a ridiculously long window to be stuck waiting, but they did offer to call when they were on their way.) Guys called about 10 minutes before arrival. When they got to my house, they rang the bell and asked me to open the garage door (I already had my car parked in the driveway so as to be out of their way). That was a nice touch since they didn't have to enter my home at all. They looked at & listened to the garage door (it had been making a squeaking noise, which is why I thought a tune-up might be wise) and said they would tighten the chain, lubricate everything and make sure the door was balanced. They were done in 15 minutes. Seriously. At first I thought, what could they have possibly done in that small amount of time? But then I went to shut the garage door and the thing was virtually purring! SO smooth, NO squeak. Couldn't be happier!

This was a simple service, but the amount of advice and information he provided while doing it was worth the price of admission. He gave me lots of great insight into how to maintain the garage door...and maybe more importantly--what it does NOT require. His honesty built a lot of credibility.

Fantastic! Robert, our technician, was prompt, courteous, and professional. The job was done quickly and I was completely satisfied. Robert explained to me what he did, how he did it, and what I can do as a homeowner to ensure my garage door is functioning properly. In addition, James accompanied Robert and he, too, was most professional. What impressed me most was that James remarked "I'd love to sell you something, but I can't." This was because my garage door was in very good shape. Imagine that? A service provider who is NOT trying to sell you unneeded services! For that I am very grateful. I would highly recommend this company.

We had a very good experience with Columbus Ohio Garage Door Company. Two servicemen came out to our home on time, and got to work right away. They checked door balance and hardware. Lubricated all moving hardware parts {rollers, hinges and opener guide} and adjusted garage door opener. The servicemen were polite and even explained how garage doors are vulnerable to break-ins, and told me how to easily make my home more secure. Excellent overall experience and service was quick, and thorough.

Robert and James effectively completed their work, beginning before the garage door had fully opened. They were courteous and I'm back in business and ready for winter.

Robert and James did a thorough inspection of the door including checking the weight alignment, lubricating appropriate parts, etc. They were very friendly and professional throughout and helped answer all of my questions. I will certainly request them for future service.
