These guys were awesome!! I emailed them after hours in the evening with the hope that I could schedule an appointment for the following morning. They responded within 10 minutes and we scheduled a 7AM appointment for the following morning. The guys showed up right on time, were polite and performed the work quickly and efficiently. Once complete, they explained everything to me and made a recommendation on another potential issue they found. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Great service. I purchased a 'big deal' and called them on a Friday. They quickly scheduled the service for that following Monday. The technician was knowledgable and professional and completed the job quickly. I would certainly use again.

This all started at 08:45 on a Saturday morning when my wife and I were trying to get our girls to their Saturday morning activities. One of the hinges on my garage door broke and the roller popped out the track and the door was stuck half open. My wife and I were able to manually open the door so that we could get the cars out but we could not get it closed. So we left the house with our garage unsecured. As soon as I returned home I jumped on the computer and sighed into Angie?s List to try to find someone to help us. The first call at 09:50 was to Columbus Ohio Garage Doors. I was lucky enough to get Lisa on the phone and she told me that she could not promise anything but she would do her best. Lisa called me back around 10:45 and said that she could have someone at my place by noon. At 11:12 there is a knock at my door. The two knights that Lisa sent to my rescue were here. Anthony and James introduced themselves to me, diagnosed the problem and went straight to work. By 11:50 they were done. They explained to me what went wrong and gave me a list of do?s and don?ts when it came to my garage door. They made some recommendation because of the age of my garage door opener and the weight of the door, but they did not try to sell me anything extra. This was money well spent. Columbus Ohio Garage Doors has been added to my contact list because if I every have a family member or friend that has a garage door problem I will be sure to share the information with them. They seem to live by the motto, ?Good Service is Good Business?.

Game on time. Oiled moving parts and left 10 minutes. Very courteous and professional. However did not adjust springs, they felt that unit was ok. This was ascertained by manually moving garage door up and down.

I purchased a Big Deal when our old garage door opener failed. They contacted me within the hour and were even able to come out the same day. New opener and keypad were installed in less than an hour. All the old parts were hauled away.

One of the garage door springs broke, and they came out the same day and had the springs replaced and everything working again in less than an hour. Great responsiveness, very professional employees, and a job well done. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This company was AWESOME! Very accommodating...I called in the morning and told them I would only be available for the next 2 hours, they were there within 45 minutes. The crew of James and Anthony were very professional and knowledgeable.They replaced my springs and showed me how to oil the springs and rollers to get maximum performance out of the product. I would recommend them to anyone needing garage work and will definitely use them again.

The "tune up" consisted of looking at the motor casing and spraying the rollers and door hinges with WD 40. Waste of 40 dollars.

I purchased a $39 tune-up special from Columbus Ohio Garage Doors because I had concerns my garage door was still to heavy after having a new spring put on in June and a callback to adjust the spring in September by another company (Fox Overhead Garage Doors). Robert and James from Columbus Ohio Garage Doors told me based on the weight of my door with insulation and 4 struts, the spring that Fox Overhead Garage Door put on was not enough. Not only did they put on the wrong spring the first time but on the September callback, all they did was add a turn and noted that an additional spring might be needed. Before they left I asked for what they would charge for the 2 x 218 springs they recommended to replace the 262 spring. They quoted me $165. After calling Fox Overhead Garage Doors about having the wrong spring on my door and what the "warranty" would cover, they told me it would be another $89 plus labor. I already paid the $89 in September for the spring adjustment. They would not give me an estimate over the phone insisting a tech would have to come out to give me that. Rather than risk giving more money to Fox Overhead Garage Door, I called Columbus Ohio Garage Doors and asked to schedule for the double spring replacement. They said they could get someone out this afternoon. Less than an hour later, Robert and James were back and installed the new springs in about 20min. I can't rate my experience with this company high enough.

Great! Robert and James did an amazing job explaining how the garage door worked and problem spots. Door is working better than ever and I will be using the company again whether it is for another inspection or when it is time to replace the door. Robert and James were kind enough to leave a product catalog and made a recommendation on what type of door we should consider for best results.

Bought an Angie's special. Robert called ahead and arrived on time. He tuned up my garage doors and gave me a few tips on how to maintain my garage door in good working order. He was very personable and professional.

They started out of the gate with all the problems that should be fixed. I did have them replace a frayed cable wire but didn't have them change the rollers as they suggested. Once I said I wasn't going to do that they said I could buy them at Home Depot and do it myself. I would just make it quieter which I don't really care about. I have no real complaint other than a suggestion to their supervisors to train them to gain a little rapport with the customer before they dive into all the problems that needed (and maybe not really needed) to be fixed. It was a bit off putting.

The two gentlemen came to my home first on a Friday morning to do the tune up. The door nor only needed a tune up, but had recently making a metal on metal grinding sound. After discussing with them that the rollers were in need of replacing (not surprised since they were the original rollers after some 15 years), we rescheduled for the following Monday morning. The metal sound was from the one wire coil disc being out of alignment. Now its back into alignment. After their arrival on Monday, they replaced all ten rollers and the rubber gasket at the bottom of the door. Both ends of the gasket had been chewed by something, and was letting rain into the garage. After those repairs and tightening of the spring, because the door was 'too heavy' and would not stay in the half open position (apparently dangerous), the door sound and tracks so much better. Its a lot more quieter now. I would definitely use them again for any future garage door issues. I found them to responsive to my questions and concerns about the garage door. Thanks.

James and Robert were excellent! They arrived on time, performed the work quickly (even working around an obstruction), and were professional and courteous the whole time. The whole story: Yesterday our garage door suddenly wouldn't open more than a couple feet. We called around to a couple companies to get quotes and try to get on the schedule. Columbus Ohio Garage Door Co not only had the best price (thanks to a deal from Angie's List), they got us on the schedule for the next morning "before 11am". I got a call around 9:50 that they would be here in 15 minutes, and that estimate was spot-on. They took a quick look at the situation and got to work. Within 30 minutes they were done, and 5 minutes later I had paid (credit cards accepted) and they were gone. They explained basic maintenance before they left (spray WD-40 on the wheels and springs 4 times a year). I feel confident that their repair will do the job, but if it doesn't, they offer a lifetime warranty. And if we have any other problems with the garage door I now know exactly who to call!

They made the weight adjustments as well as oiled my garage door. One of the tracks was making a noise as the garage moved but they both worked on it until the problem was resolved.
