This was a big deal purchase. It was fine. They did what I asked them to do. Overall they did a decent job, I guess. I paid through Angie's List. There was an additional price for the seal on the bottom. I thought they did a good job. They answered what I asked. They were a little late, but they were still out working. They answered my questions, did what they were supposed to do and did what I asked them to do.

Excellent! They were able to come today even though I didn't call them until 2p.m. Polite, friendly, told me what they were doing. I had called two companies including this one. While the other company called back sooner, they weren't going to be able to come until the next morning. These guys got my business because they were able to come today.

That was some time ago. It wasn't great. For the $39 the guy just wanted to get done as quick as he could. He also, I had bad springs, and he said it didn't work with springs, they were too dangerous and it turned out that I replaced the springs and I did it wrong, I put too strong a spring in, the springs that should have been put in, and I wish he would have told me this, were just the lightest springs possible and that was it. Single garage door made out of aluminum and just had styrofoam in as insulation, real light door, and now this spring is being too strong and finally pulled the chain apart and I don't even have a garage door opener. I can't give him a vote of confidence. His demeanor was to come and get out of here as quick as he could. They were here about 5 weeks ago. It was $39. What he did do I kind of pushed him into and worked with him.

Robert, James and Tre arrived within the time window given when appointment was made. They explained what was needed and unfortunately I had to have more work done than I originally planned, but that just comes with being a home owner. Installation was quick and thorough. I would certainly recommend this company to anyone and their reputation on Angie's List is excellent.

They called us write away to schedule the service, showed up on time, very friendly. Anthony took his time to explain the problem we are having and ways to fix it and what he could do to save us money and get our door working again. They were more through then anybody else I have had out here. They showed me how to maintain the garage door myself. I have had this door for over 15 yrs and I always have a tune up. Nobody has every educated me on what to do. Highly recommend them to anyone needing a garage door tune up.

They were prompt, hard working, reasonable, nice, and professional. They cleaned up the area and it was installed quickly. One word to describe the over all experience would be AWESOME!

The company came out on two separate occasions. The first fist was to check the garage door opener, spring tension, and balance. The also lubricated the door spring and hinges. The technician was efficient and thorough. He pointed out things I should do each quarter to keep the door running smoothly (I like to learn something from a contractor visit). The second visit from the company was to install a few suggested components. Three technicians installed a door seal and a support strut to the door. They knocked out the job in no time at all! A few days later, we had a crazy rain storm, and the new door seal kept the water out! I will contact this outfit again if I have any door issues. I've already recommended the group to family.

I am very pleased with the service that was provided. They arrived on time and within the window of the quoted time fro service. They asked questions to pinpoint any concerns or issues with I was with the garage door. Once I shared the issues, they did the preventive maintenance, found what was causing the closure issue, and repaired as necessary. They also took the time to explain why the repair was needed and gave me helpful tips/information to be able to troubleshoot any problems in the future. I would definitely use them again.

I contacted them on Friday evening and Lisa responded to my email Friday night! She was able to schedule service on my garage door for Monday as I said I would be home all week. By the way Lisa was very polite and responsive. I thought the spring on my garage door had broken but when they showed up they informed me it was just the cable. They could have charged me for the spring and I would have been none the wiser. They fixed the cable, oiled the mechanisms, tightened all the screws and now my door is working better than it has in a long time! They also did the same for my other garage door. The doors will need replaced in the not too distant future and I will definitely be using them for replacement doors. I felt they went above and beyond and they are trustworthy. Thanks again!

Excellent experience! The appointment was two hours after I called. It was determined we needed a new garage door opener and they installed this unit in a timely fashion. I had several questions and they answered them in a professional manner. They also gave valuable tips on maintaining all aspects of our door and opener. We saved over $100 using an Angie's List coupon and by receiving special Angie's List pricing. I would unconditionally recommend this company!

I bought a deal from Angie list on Saturday, called them and was able to schedule an appointment at Monday noon. They came 10 minutes earlier and completed the whole job in about 30 min. They installed high quality spring rated for 50000 cyclces. I'm very pleased with their service

Outstanding service. Door was completely installed within 5 hours of making the call to inquire about replacement (called at 9am, they got to house at 12 and were done by 2pm). Service crew was prompt, courteous and professional. Highly recommended. Will use again for maintenance and to install new opener when old one fails!

The two men (first time for service of old opener) and three men (installation of new opener) were all friendly and professional. They provided service both times within 1-2 days of my call. They showed up when they said they would, called before to notify me and were quick with install. I felt informed of our decision and they were informative about new opener. Columbus Ohio Garage Doors provides superior service. My garage door spring broke and I could not get my car out of the garage. Within two hours COGD had expert service providers at my home and repaired the door within a half-hour. I cannot imagine any better service. It was professional, timely, well done, and provided at a very reasonable price. COGD is one of the best service providers I have ever experienced.

Anthony was great to work with. He thoroughly explained the work he did and answered all of my questions. Our door and opener are older and showing some signs of wear. He did not try to sell me products of services I did not need but explained all the options. Very friendly and efficient service. I would recommend this technician and this company to others.

Provider was quick and responsive in scheduling the service... very accommodating. Once the technician arrived, he looked at the door less than a minute and said it was in great shape. He WD-40'd all the springs and wheels... took about 5 minutes all-in, with some tips on keeping the door in good shape moving forward. The technician was very friendly, and the service responsive... just not clear on the full value of the tune up. There definitely wasn't any kind of 20pt inspection... just a 3pt check on the wheels, track and hinges... all something a homeowner can visually review quite easily.... and a can of WD-40 is just $6. My recommendation is that the service is probably best suited for homeowners that know they have real problems with their doors (bad squeeks, grinding, imbalance, etc)... the "maintenance" wasn't really quite worth the fee and the time off to meet the technician.... or maybe we expected too much for $40. Also note, this service does not include any checks of the hardware related to automatic door openers... don't expect them to check the connections, the chains, or anything related to the assembly... its not included.

It was okay. The guys showed up late, but I did get a call prior to that saying they would be late. They had initially scheduled an apointment, and they came when I was not there, they came at the wrong time, so we had to reschedule the appointment, so when we rescheduled the appointment, they were running late. There were two guys in the truck, and one gentleman didn't come out of the truck. The other guy lubricated the springs, I have a rather old garage door. He talked to me about the springs, and the system that I had, and told me what system he would recommend, which was all well and good. I think it was just average. They were there within 3 weeks, and the garage door was working so it wasn't an urgent call. They were apologetic when I called the office. Timeliness was an issue because they were late. I realized they are workmen, and the truck was marked, but they didn't have any uniform to say they were with the company.

.They didn't waste my day waiting for them to show up. They serviced the entire door and checked opener and chain. They did a great job AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME PARTS I DIDN'T NEED. They do offer lifetime warrantied springs at a reasonable price that I'll be purchasing when needed. Very nice and professional. I'll be a repeat customer and will be telling my friends and neighbors about them. I see why they have an "A" rating.
