Needed to replace garage door opener.

Received a phone call within one hour of purchasing to schedule a day and time to perform check up. Technician showed up on time, checked both the door and opener. Tech seemed very knowledgeable and suggested some tips on regular maintenance I could perform myself. He convinced me not to replace a part (roller bracket) on the door that had begun to rust reasoning that it was still in good condition even though it was showing surface rust. Also reattached another roller bracket by inserting new self taping screw to replace a broken rivet joint. no charge other than the initial fee I paid for the check up itself. Would definitely use them in the future for any garage door/opener needs. I would recommend this company in the future.

Fast response to service request. They found spring was broken and replaced with heavier duty spring.

They arrived on time. I had insulated my door with reflectex not realizing that the old single spring could not handle the extra weight. They replaced the old spring with two new #218 springs. The door can now stay up if the electricity goes out and there is less strain on the motor during regular operation. I received the Angie's List price of $165 less a 10% Sr. discount.

They did fix something that I wasn't aware of how to fix. But I also think I was a little surprised. I don't know that he was here for maybe 10 minutes. It included 21-point safety inspection, lubricating all moving parts on door and opener, balancing door for proper weight, tightening hinges and making minor adjustments. They made a minor adjustment, he did lubricate all moving parts, but he used my WD-40 that I had here. If he inspected 21 points, I didn't see him do it. But other than that, I was pretty happy with it. He didn't charge anything more. They were prompt. They left me a sticker so I knew who it was and I could call them if I have problems. Depending on what I needed done, I would probably still get estimates from them.

They did a fantastic job. I called at 7 PM and left a message and James called me back within 5 minutes. They came to replace the spring at 8 AM the next morning. James also lubricated both of my garage doors. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased a Big Deal for a garage door tune-up through Angie's List. I indicated that I would make the appointment at a later date. A day after I made the purchase, the company proactively emailed me to schedule the appointment. When I called to make the appointment, they were able to do so within a few days. They were able to schedule me on a weekend, even though their normal business hours are Monday through Friday. They gave me a window of time when they would be here and said they would call me an hour before arrival. They called only a half hour before their arrival time but still showed up within the time window they gave. The technician checked the garage door and parts and lubricated the moving parts. No adjustments were needed. He made recommendations as to how we should maintain good operation of the door. He saw no need to recommend further service from the company at this time. The entire appointment took about 15 minutes.

Columbus Ohio Garage Door Co came out on the scheduled day and time and completed their inspection of my garage door. Because the rollers were rusted and were thread bare, I purchased replacements and this was taken care of. They returned two days later to add a seal to the bottom of the door as well. Besides the original purchase of $39, I paid $59 for 10 rollers and $55 for the bottom seal. The work was done efficiently and effectively. They were very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions.

Things went pretty smoothly. Looks as though rubber strip was cut a little short on one end, so they kept part of previous rubber strip on door. I didn't notice this til after the job was done and they had already left job site.

The service was good. They did not do it right the first time, but they came back and corrected it.
