 + -1 moreJames was the guy that scheduled the work, and he was great. Robert was the tech that came out, and he was wonderful! He were very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of tips. He showed me how to adjust the spring on my garage door, and I was glad I gave them a call. He even showed me how to make sure the door didn't come down so hard, and let me know that I didn't need the extra sealer for the bottom of the door. I'm going to keep that as a credit for next year. I would highly recommend them!

Description of Work: I prepaid this company to have my garage door on my house inspected and maintained. On Tuesday April 4 the company representative called me and left a voicemail saying that they would be out Wednesday April 5th between 8 a.m. and 12 noon they never showed up nor did they give call me saying that they would not show up I had to call them at 1 p.m. to ask where they were. the representatives excuse was he thought it was scheduled for Thursday April 6 the which was a ball faced lie because he is on my voicemail confirming that the appointment was Wednesday April 5th. I rescheduled another appointment with this company for Thursday April 6th from 8 a.m. until noon that's when the representative said he should be here All I can say is this if they don't value your time you shouldn't value theirs don't waste your time or money with this company

 + -1 moreFirst thing he said was I should replace my Genie with a Liftmaster. The Genie is brand new and works fine. He tightened up bolts on one side of the door but didn't do the other side. He sprayed wd40 on my springs but didn't lube the screw opener. Told me to. He sprayed the wheels on one side of the door but not the other side. My car was in the garage but he didn't say if it was in the way. I learned some things and it was only $40 plus a $10 tip so I wasn't expecting much.

 + -1 moreThe servicemen arrived on time and inspected the garage doors. The deal included roller replacement but, as it turned out the doors are old and the roller size was not compatible with what thy had. There was a problem with one of the doors not closing properly which was adjusted and everything was inspected an lubricated. They didn't want to charge me the Angie's deal and told me to get the money back from Angie's List. I felt satisfied that they spent the time inspecting and fixing the one door that wouldn't stay closed. They were knowledgeable and polite.
Description of Work: This was an Angie's Deal for garage door maintenance and roller replacement. The doors were inspected.

I am a little concerned that the company removed an exterior door pull and now there are holes in the garage door where the screws inserted. I am not sure if I should replace this handle or fill the screw holes and paint. They did not mention the handle removal after the weather stripping was installed.

 + -1 moreRepair of door spring and installation of new garage door opener went well. About 1 month later, there was some squeaking in the garage door - technicians came out quickly and repaired the squeaking at no cost.
Description of Work: Repair garage door - technician inspected and noted that the spring for the door was broken. Replaced the spring and then also asked for replacement of the garage door open and recommended a very quiet Liftmaster - a bit expensive but very pleased with the installation.
