Purchased Angie's List Big Deal for lawn aeration and overseeding. The work was done promptly and very professionally. The gentlemen from Ziehler's discussed our lawn condition with my husband and gave suggestions for ways to improve the lawn. We were very impressed, and decided to hire them as our lawn care service. We did end up paying a bit more than I was planning for the overseeding, but overall am very happy with Ziehler's.

Very professional, my lawn looks very good, even after the drought!! I am pleased with their lawn service. I have used them once for landscape clean up and was pleased.

They didn't give me enough notifications before they came out, I would have liked that better.

I purchased the Angie's List Big Deal for Core Lawn Aeration Service and a credit towards additional Lawn Overseeding. Since the deal was based on "up to 5,000 square feet of lawn," the first step was to get the size of our lawn established with Ziehler, whose office called me to provide an estimate. I've previously estimated my lawn size and my figures were about 20% lower than the estimates from the software Ziehler uses. I was favorably impressed by the professionalism of the receptionist and the fact that they even used software for estimating! Given the difference, they had to send someone out to measure my lawn and I used a long tape measure to confirm that my lawn was under 5,000 square feet and Ziehler's measurements were similar to mine. A few weeks later, Ziehler's office called to let me know the aeration and over-seeding was scheduled for that week. Sure enough, a few days later two guys showed up and did the work in less than an hour. Overall, I was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the work.

When we called to schedule the aeration the receptionist was rude. The job was done on some random date, and the quality of the aeration was shoddy. It was a rushed job for low price. So, I guess you get what you pay for =-) To follow up: Zieler did call and ultimately sent someone out who did Re-Aerate the lawn and did a very good job- Thank you =-)

Since we had never had work done by this company before, we were concerned when there was a delay in the time frame of performing the service. We did understand that the weather was the reason for some of the delay. We also found out that they had to do the core aeration with overseeding jobs first because grass seed can't be successfully planted too late in the year. A little better communication would have helped allay our concerns. The individuals who worked on our lawn were polite and efficient. Their equipment worked well and they did a good job aerating our yard. We would certainly be willing to use their services again.

Technicians were professional and appeared to be very experienced. They completed the job effeciently and did a complete clean-up. Since this was a "Big Deal" I don't know how the regular price would compare to others, but I strongly suspect that they would be competitive. I won't know about the quality of the job until I see new grass coming up. I have no reason to think it won't be fine.

I have been happy with their services. They were always polite on the phone. They were always prompt in returning my calls. There was also a time that I was very impressed because they came right out, and put on the little flags on the lawn, so that no one will step on the grass for a day.

I have a lawn that had started to get taken over by weeds, and grass that was not healthy. I received a discount for paying ahead for the full year, and was able to decrease the number of treatments from 6 to 5. At first I didn't hear anything for a few days after signing up for the service, but after one email to Andrew, I received details of my contract that day, and service within two days. I spoke to the technician, and he was very professional and seemed knowledgeable. After just one treatment of weed control and fertilizer, the lawn is much better than before, weeds reduced about 80% and the grass much healthier looking. MUCH better than the results I was getting from my own treatments, and worth the price. I plan to continue with the service,

Went very well! Cheaper than Scott's - which I have used for the past three years. Ziehler's does a much better job than Scott with their overall customer service and the lawn looks a lot better than it ever has after only two treatments. I highly recommend them!

They have been very responsive and I think they do a very professional job. Each tree plan costs $82 plus tax.

We pay more when they do the aeration. We had some very troublesome brown spots in our yard. There has been a bug destroying the grass and no other company diagnosed it correctly. It has been more expensive because we've had more work done than the standard treatments because of the problems we've had. They will do anything that the yard needs. We pay $56 for the standard treatment. We are very impressed with them. It has been a very positive experience with them. They took the time to listen and to explain the problems. They seem to care that we understand what they are doing and what's going on.

the overall experience was very good. I liked how professional and neatly dressed the service man was, and i loved the detailed report he left me regarding all that he had done and what he would recommend for a better lawn overall. I would definately use them again.

I had a serious dandelion infestation that was out of control and this company completely rid my lawn of them within 2-3 weeks. Very pleased with the end results and liked the professionalism of the rep I met during one of the treatments.

At first the job was performed fairly well. Had a few instances where lawn was mowed off of the schedule. In addition, there were times where the grass was cut really short, almost down to the roots. My fence gates were damaged more than once by the larger mowers. The damage was taken care of most of the time. Another problem I had was with office management. Payments were lost and bills were not received in a timely manner. I canceled the service when I moved, using a change of address form from the US Postal Office. I renewed the change of address form for 2 years in a row. I would receive advertisements from Ziehler but no bills. After two years I received a bill from a collection agency for services performed almost 3 years earlier. Hard to understand why the company doesn't maintain one address database or think to verify addresses across the entire company.

I am planning to use him again. They were great and it went excellent. They were very professional. The owner came out and talked to me first. He gave some ideas to redecorate the garden. The next day he faxed me a quote. He had his guys come out a couple of days after that. They did a great job and I had no problems with them. Everything looks great.

They did a great job. We were called back immediately, the price was reasonable, the crew was at the house in about a week, and they were finished in two days. Everything I had asked to be completed was finished the way I wanted it.
