Form the initial e-mail contact with Overhead door of Akron, the phone conversations, to the appointment and work performed these guys had a very professional attitude. It was a pleasure to work with them and their work is excellent. The opening of our garage door went from a clanking, creeking experience to so quite we can almost not hear it opening and closing. The new synthetic rollers are that quiet. These guys are great.

Very pleased that the routine maintenance was done but that they also stayed past their normal time to fix the broken spring. The technician recommended not using the door at all with the broken spring but because it was already early evening on a Friday he wasn't sure he could get it done during their regular hours. He called into their office and was told it was okay to proceed even if he went past regular hours because this was part of Angie's list. He got it done quickly and couldn't have been more helpful. Based on this experience I would call them again.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with them and there is NO OTHER company I will call the next time I need this type of service.

It went well. I had the service because I had a very minor problem and I was very satisfied. They went a little bit further and performed the small repair. I was very satisfied.

The technician adjusted door panels and replaced one of the pulleys. The center door brace had worked loose. It was remedied with a couple of "thru bolts." He was very helptul, and answered all of my questions. The doors open smoothly now, but one has started to pop again on opening. I will be giving them a call for a follow-up on door number two.

Quick and efficient, working well now

They were on time and they did exactly what they said they were going to do. The price was outstanding and the quality was excellent. They were punctual and their professionalism was outstanding.

The coupons was for a garage door "check-up" and minor maintenance. My garage door was not working well prior to their visit, and I had hoped that the tune-up would take care of the problems. (The garage door goes partially up and down many times before actually closing). The technician was very prompt, professional and nice, and tuned up a few things. The garage door did work well when he left (we checked it a few times) and for about a week after. Now approx two - three weeks later, it is back to it's old tricks. So the tune up did not accomplish what I hoped it would, and I don't know what the problem with the doors is. So I am no worse off, but no better off either than before they came.

Salesman showed up when promised. Door was available and installed a couple of days earlier than expected. Technician who installed the door was on time and was very efficient in removing the old door and installing the new door and hardware. Had 2 minor problems that were handled promptly. Manual didn't explain very well how to enter new code on outside wireless remote. Technician arrived that afternoon and explained the procedure in less than 5 min. Other problem was a broken wire on the wired remote that was handled the next day. Very satisfied with new door and services.

After doing research online I contacted the company for a quote. Rather than reviewing the entire product line, the salesperson seemed to be directing us to the model he thought was appropriate. That was ok as it was probably what we would have gotten to anyway. We wanted to add decorative hinges and handles. He seemed to be discouraging that by saying that it would mean penetrations that would later rust. We decided to include them anyway. The service tech arrived promptly and worked efficiently. He too seemed to be trying to discourage the decorative additions, asking a couple of times if I was sure we wanted them. Also, the decorative handles had not arrived so be needed a second trip to install them. He removed the old door and cleaned up pretty well, although I had to follow up after he left and get a few things. He made new holes to attach the new track and did not fill in the old holes. However, he did take care to clean dirt and grease off the new door. It looked very clean when he had finished. The door operated well. The service tech seemed to take care in measuring for the attachment of the decorative pieces. Unfortunately, neither he nor I noticed that one hinge piece was mounted in the wrong place. He had to repair the holes that had been made. Other than that the work was well done and the finished product looks good. The manufacture of the doors themselves seems good. The only issue I have seen is there is some stray window sealant around several of the windows. The door has been installed for 10 months now. It has functioned as expected with no attention other than lubricating the tracks needed. It looks very good.

When my garage door was originally installed everything seemed fine...until I knocked the antenna off my SUV...twice. The other problem was that the door would "bounce" back up after it was 3/4 closed so I would have to wait and hit the button again to make sure the garage door actually stayed down. Long story short, the employee that showed up was on time and very professional. I had my car antenna repaired for the FINAL time because he adjusted the height on the garage door and I no longer have to linger in the driveway to make sure the door closes! Thank you!

The guy who came out was really personable, nice and worked extra to try and fix the door and didn't charge me extra for it. It wasn't terribly expensive.

I called them to schedule an appointment as they had a Big Deal offer. My garage door did not always stay closed and would often go back up after closing, which was very frustrating. I called to schedule an appointment and asked them to call me shortly before they arrived, which they did. The repairman arrived on time and explained what he could do. He fixed the door and now it stays closed when I want it to.

Was there on time. Very friendly and knowlegable. When he worked w/ door down on inside I held spotlight for him so I was able to watch everything he did. He did complete service and some. I needed a small addition door adjustment and he did w/o charge. I was very pleased with their service. I was very unhappy with the company that installed our new door 2 years ago. I will use Overhead Door again in future.

The tech came to my home to adjust and do maintenance on our garage door that was making noise. He was very quick and efficient, even replaced a wheel without any charge, as he had an extra one in his van. He was informative about what he had done, and explained about the other two doors that may need repair in the future.

The door, after being serviced, was suddenly opening on its own and would not stay shut until I fiddled with the power button. Do hire this company; don't worry.

My complaint about the garage door was that it sounded like something was buckling as the door went up and also as the door was lowered. The technician bent somethings and said it would be fine. As it turned out nothing was corrected, however,part of the rubber at the bottom of the door was chewed off and the technician did repair it to my satisfaction.

This company was an Angie's List Big Deal. When I subscribed, the owner called immediately to make an appointment. One worker responded. He tuned up both doors on the garage, allowing one side to open again, and reducing the noisy sounds on the second door. It works much more smoothly.

They were quick and they were good.

Technition came out and did a thorough job of lubricating and making one of the doors easier to open by hand.

Okay to this point, but I have not set up the actual service call. I was very satisfied with the service call.
