Move It Now - Akron Canton & Medina

This move went very well. The were timely and worked rapidly. The two guys Mike and Chris were very pleasant, extremely helpful and considerate. I have used Move It Now before and have recommended them to others who have also been happy with their service. After today's experience I will continue to recommend and use them again when I need them. I would not consider using another moving service other than Move It Now.

The Move It Now team did an awesome job. This was the second time I've used movers, the first time being with Two Men and a Truck in Cleveland. This time around, Move It Now was in a different league... more professional, faster, and cheaper, even though they did it with two guys instead of Two Men's three guys (ironic...). I have some really big piece of furniture, and they were able to fit them through some seemingly impossible spaces without any damage... I'm talking epic Jenga puzzle stuff. Bottom line: I would use these guys again without hesitation. Thanks!

I was initially nervous about hiring movers as we had always moved ourselves with the help of friends and family members. I've heard a lot of horror stories about things getting broken, lost, price gouging, etc. My fears were immediately put to rest when Jon and Devan showed up. They took time to go over the contract, explained how their time billing worked, and asked for a tour of the home and an explanation of what needed to be moved. There were no hidden fees, surcharges, etc. - just a flat hourly rate. My biggest concern was the moving of our heavy armoire and very heavy ceramic grill. They loaded and unloaded these, and our other items with ease and precision. I look forward to dealing with this company again in the future.

Jeff, Rob & Brian very professional and nice men. Never seen such hard workers. All work and no messing around, and very strong. They wasted no time and were very careful with everything, and put things in storage as asked by customer. Great having a 6'8" mover, he could really stack the items in the storage warehouse up to the ceiling, plus he knew just how to stack everything to make most of the space with numerous items that otherwise would not of fit if not for him. Would highly recommend Move It Now and hopefully they would get the great workers we had, Jeff, Rob & Brian. Thank you for a job well done!!!

Move It Now did a great job for our move. I purchased a deal online and they contacted me right away to set up my move date as well as go over all the details with me. They office was very responsive and shared tips with me on how to make the move time as short as possible to save money. The office called the day before the move to confirm and provide the window of time the crew would be out. On the day of the move the crew was very friendly and accommodating. They reviewed everything with us that was going to be moved and would always confirm prior to taking anything to the truck. When they arrived to the house to unload the furniture they always asked where things went and would set up exactly where we wanted. I would recommend they to anyone I know who is moving in the future and will be sure to use them for any future moving needs.

Move it Now is a local and privately owned company. They were easy to set up a date and time. Two men and the owner showed up and were amazing. I showed them what to move and it went very smoothly. I knew I had a few very large items that would be hard to move but they took it in stride and there were no problems. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a mover. It was a very positive experience to a very stressful day!

They showed up on time, however one of the movers smelled strongly of alcohol. They seemed a bit unsure of the best way to move some of the items and asked our advice more than once. Several items of furniture were scratched/ gouged. Overall not a great experience.

Two guys worked for 5 hours to move my mother. They had to fit her furniture into a very small elevator to the 5th floor where she moved too. Everything got ther in one piece. No scratches on the furniture. They put everything where my mother wanted it. Very professional.

This company sent out 2 guys to move me about 15 miles away. I moved furniture for 5 years working my way through College and this was only my 2nd time in my life having movers move me. These guys were fantastic. Energetic, polite, careful, respectful...I appreciated the great questions and how you helped our family make this move as stressful. Thank you and 1, strongly recommend them and 2. will use them again in I ever move again.

Move It Now sent 2 gentlemen to move my large furniture and appliances from my old house to my new house. They brought a 10'x30' truck which ended up being loaded 3/4 of the way full. They arrived on time and were courteous, professional, friendly, and, most importantly, hard-working. They worked for SEVEN hours packing, transporting, and unpacking my belongings, stopping only long enough to take a single smoke/drink break during the loading process. They didn't break for lunch until the truck was packed and ready to move to the destination. I can't say enough good things about the crew and the work they did. I'm 40 years old and if I would have tried to do this with only the help of my friends I would have likely either broken a piece of furniture or myself in the process. I plan on recommending Move It Now to anyone I know that plans to move.

The two gentlemen that did the move were on time. They were very polite and courteous. We had unexpected circumstance that prevented the furniture from being moved inside when we arrived at my new house. They went above and beyond what I would have expected from them in that situation. They were very patient and understanding while it was resolved. I gave them a B because it was really slow. REALLY slow. I was a military dependent child and then active duty myself. I have a lot of experience with moving companies. If not for that, I might have thought they did ok. They weren't packing boxes or anything, it was just larger items being moved. Also, I was disappointed in some of the reassembly at the new house. My husband had to take our king size bed apart and put it back together because it was so poorly done.

Clarence and Dwain were very punctual, professional, courteous, accommodating, and careful with our belongings. They came in and did their job very efficiently. Would definitly recommend and use them again.

The movers were very professional and took extra care not to damage anything.

A table was broken and was replaced quickly.

2 other friends of ours used Move It Now for their recent moves and recommended we use them. 2 men came. They were very professional and polite and worked hard. They noted their breaks (about 2 15min break) and took their time off our final bill. Loading our house up took longer than initially estimated over the phone (about double), but I can't see how these guys could have gone any faster. They were working hard and moving quick. Our house was small, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, but maybe we had more stuff than I realized. They had no problem making an extra stop to deliver our washer/dryer to a different location. The company called us 2 days later saying that some of our things were left on the truck and they came that day to drop them off (baseball bats, golf clubs). We would use them again and highly recommend them.

The movers never did call me. I had to call them. They were suppose to come between 9:00 and 9:30. They showed up after 10:00. Then they said they had to call their boss. They left. Their boss called me and said they would have to cancel. The boss said that the guys said I wasn't ready and I my place was dirty. I told the boss that I didn't have anyone else to help me and I already paid for part of the move already. He told me he would come out and see what I had. Didn't show up until after 10:00 the next day. After me and my sister moved some of the boxes our self. When he did show up on Wednesday the 18 he said he couldn't move me until Thursday, his truck was broke down. He also asked me to sanitize the place. My place smelled a little like pee because my dog was sick and had a leaking problem. The guys that showed up on Thursday after 11:00 were really good. It only took they 4 hours to move my stuff and they were very professional.. They were the best part of my move. To me it was very unprofessional the way this company treated me at first. I'm a sixty three year old with health problems and should be treated better. You never know what people are going through.

The company was very helpful in making arrangements to satisfy the homeowner and the follow through was exactly as promised. Workers were prompt and professional and the move was accomplished efficiently and without any damage.

Overall, they did a phenomenal job. I had a lot of stuff and they had a tough job making it all fit in the truck, but they did it. My only problem is that they did not put all boxes where they were labeled to go. By the end of the move, they were tired and they seemed to be a little more careless with some belongings. However, if I noticed something I wanted moved, they were more than happy to move it where I asked. They assembled my bed and even came to ask me if I had a bed skirt I wanted put on. That was nice so that I didn't have to shimmy it up by myself at a later time. They also were very helpful in placing plastic furniture movers under the legs of the heavy furniture for me so I will be able to move it myself later on. They were better than other movers I have used in the past and I would hire them again.

The guys were excellent. They were professional and caused no damage to the furniture or home. I definitely would recommend Move It Now to friends. Nice job!

Laborers were excellent, polite and professional. The problem stemmed from the man that did our estimate walk through UNDER estimating the weight, quality and stackability of our furniture. This resulted in 2 trips. We should have have had a Larger truck. Their largest truck was a 26 ft truck. We had over 4800 sq. ft. Of home/ furniture to move. We moved all of the boxes (over 80 ) and clothing, ourselves. The owner did compensate us on the additional travel time, but the day of moving was over 10 hours. Move It Now would've been great for a smaller home or one with lightweight furniture which could've been stacked. The actual movers knew immediately that our furniture was not stackable and would require additional a trips. The owner was very accommodating to our situation, however, to suit our needs, we need a moving line that can fit our furniture in just one trip.
