Move It Now - Akron Canton & Medina

I engaged moving help for 2 bedroom apartment move. My apartment is in first floor and unload place is Condo in second floor. I do not have bedroom stuff and appliances. I pack 90% of my stuff and moved all boxes in to my garage place. My move is with in 10 miles and same city. Two men came and loaded my stuff into their truck and unloaded all of them in my new place without my 2 piece of sectional sofa. I engaged moving help only for sectional only. After 5 hours charge to me those 2 items went to my friends car garage. I do not recommend this company to any of my friends. I send feedback to them but no response. Now I need to spend $150 plus for my sectionals to move back to my Condo.

Very pleased - on time - got everything moved very quickly. All three pieces (especially the elliptical) were bulky and/or cumbersome to move. We live in a raised ranch - so they had to get the items out through the front door, down the steps in the front of the house, through the garage and into the basement. My husband was there - he said they were extremely polite and professional. I called on Tuesday and they had the moving crew out there first thing Thursday morning.

First off, the guys were great and they worked hard. However they forgot items at the existing house after making 2 trips and I had to make multiple trips after to finish. They were very careful with the items and we did not have any damage. Moving is a tough job so I was impressed that these guys had such a great attitude all day and were polite to my wife and sister. Now the not so great. They have an Angie's list deal for the first 2 hours but the clock starts when the movers leave the shop and ends when they get back to the shop after the move. I talked to someone at the office before the arrival and he said we are about 20 minutes away. When I received my final bill, the invoice stated 45 minutes each way so most of my Angie's List Big Deal was eaten up with drive time. One thing that bothered me is that the guys would not take the turnpike which was faster because they said they do not receive money for tolls, which I offered to pay to cut down on the hourly rate. If you are in Cuyahoga Falls, by all means these guys get it done but I would consider other options if outside a 5-10 mile radius.

Our experience with Move It Now went smooth and stress free. The guys were on time and worked fast. Jeff and John explained everything and were friendly and professional. They used runners and padding so they would not damage floors or doorways. When I called for the estimate, I was told 4 - 4.5 hours for what we wanted moved. We ended up moving some additional things and they still finished up in 4 hours. I would use this company again in the future.

CJ and Ryan did an amazing job and provided the best service imaginable. I cannot express how pleased I am with the move. All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you for a job well done and at a fair price. :)

Arrived on time, pleasant workers, did the job just fine. Tom and Jeremy worked nonstop. And were very courteous.

Perfect. The movers are excellant. One of my glass furniture tops was broken. They replaced it the next day. Would use again in the future.

I had a very tall and heavy cherry cabinet and ancestor made that was special. I wanted it in my second floor workroom. They tried everything possible to get it up the stairs and down the hall. We didn't make it. But it was not for them no trying. They lugged heavy furniture for hours and were still positive and courteous and wonderful to work with. I was impressed. And as hard as it was to get the cabinet up the stairs, I never felt like they were jeopardizing their or my safety. A great group. Youse them!

Brian, Ryan, & Scott were our moving crew this day. They were on time and efficient. It was a miserably hot day, but they did a great job and even finished the job an hour under the initial estimate, saving me around $100. The work was completed with only a few minor scratches or dings to the walls, even though the house has a very narrow staircase with low ceilings, and no damage to my furniture. The guys did a great job and I appreciated their hard work.

We sold our home and rented it back for a month so that we could pack and move all the boxes ourselves. We had Move It Now come to move all of our furniture and large items. Our quote included 2 trucks and 4 men for 7-9 hours and that is exactly what it took. Jason, Keith, Jeremy and Reggie arrived about 8:20 am and worked diligently liked a well oil machine until the job was completed about 5:30 pm. It was apparent right away that these guys knew what they were doing and quickly developed a plan of action, and executed it perfectly. We were having new floors installed at the new house and work was to be completed the day before the move, but the wood for the new floors arrived defective and new wood needed to be ordered, so floors were still being installed as the guys were unloading. They could not have been more considerate to the installers. Instead of coming in through the house to bring things into the basement, they walked all the way around outside and in through the walk-out. Not an easy task considering the slope of the yard. And they even this disassembled a desk and carried it to the curb for us. Above and beyond!! Not only would I personally use them again, I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends! And I got to use an Angie's List coupon to boot!

The moving crew consisted of RV,JT and JH. They were prompt ,polite and friendly. Everything was explained before they started and there were no surprises or hidden costs. I was able to use the discount from Angie's list without any hassle. This team of men knew exactly how to move my things and worked quickly and efficiently together. They finished in less time then I expected thereby saving me some of the estimated cost. Everything was moved without incident and I was completely satisfied. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

I made the mistake of telling the movers that my furniture was from Craig's List, therefore not too expensive, and I think that set in their minds that I didn't care about scratches and dents. I DO. There were several scratches/dents/gouges that occurred and when I made them known, they claimed to have already been there prior to the move. I know which scratches/dents/gouges were there prior to the move; I polish my Craig's List furniture regularly! Overall, one new mover dropped the ramp on his foot and had to sit out the remainder of the move, which caused me to believe his carelessness may have caused the damage to my furniture. Though damage was minimal and argued to their benefit, the move was: I got what I paid for. More expensive movers are much more careful. These guys were adequate for the low price.

the move was find. the add for 2 hours at $111 is misleading.

I was highly impressed with the labor they supplied as well as their equipment. They had plenty of pads to protect our valuables, straps, and everything they could possibly need. We had brand new front loader washer/dryer in the basement for example with the under-racks and they moved without an issue, even though the basement steps are very tight as well as heading out the side door is a tight/difficult squeeze. Their truck was also a high-top truck with a full nose over the cab, their 26' truck holds probably 20% more than a normal 26' U-haul for example or some other typical 26' trucks you see out there That means less trips, saves you $$ in the end. The guys worked hard, took very few breaks, were extremely polite, and did a great job overall. I would highly recommend this company based on this experience and will be hiring them again in the future to help move a relative. They were also very open to having my 4 helpers work along side of them which was a huge help since I didn't have the budget for them to do everything. I think their pricing is very competitive and service was excellent. 5-Stars!!

The guys were great! We hired them twice. Once to move our items from a storage facility to our new home. And a second time to move furniture from our apartment to our new home. They were punctual, careful and very courteous. Their prices can't be beat. We definitely recommend Move It Now.

When scheduling the appointment, they informed us that they started the clock from the time they leave their office. They are about 45 minutes from us. I appreciated the honesty that they told us before the job was completed. I would recommend them based off of honesty. We decided to get a refund on this deal.

It went well. They showed up on time and were willing to do what I asked them to do. They were conscientious of my furniture and my walls.

Keith and John showed up on time and worked with unbelievable efficiency in moving us. They finished the job under the quoted time and did a wonderful job. I can't say enough about how good our moving experience was with Move It Now. I HIGHLY recommend these guys and if you can, request Keith and John to be your moving guys. They certainly need special recognition for their kindness, professionalism, work ethic, and attitude. It was nearly 90 degrees and incredibly humid on the day of the move.

They were on time at 9:30am but moved a little slow, especially in the first 2 hours or so, and seemed a little aimless and lost at first. Coincidentally, we used a coupon for 99 bucks for the first 2 hours. Eventually they decided they needed a third mover to help them and he showed up after lunch. When we originally booked the job we told the booker on the phone that we thought we should have 3 guys on this job and he insisted 2 was enough. The job would have taken less time had we started with the 3 movers that we originally asked for. They tried hard but were in need of some help and suggestions for how to best load the truck as it was a tight fit. There were some simple things that should've been either done or suggested to us to do to fit more into the truck as they went along, e.i. remove table legs etc. Overall a B. They did work hard and were pleasant. The office was very responsive via phone and email. EDIT: We had several items that were damaged in the move. Have tried unsuccessfully for over two weeks to get in touch with this company to discuss damage claim. Multiple requests via email to please call us to discuss damage. No call yet.

The guys were nice and did a really good job. They were on time and very professional and was careful with my furniture that they moved. There was a misunderstanding about the Big Deal that I purchased and I ended up having to pay for 4hours minimum in order to use my Coupon for $111.00, and so because of this, I probably won't use them again. But they did do a good job for me.

I wasn't present for the actual move, but everything seems to have gone well. The movers were very helpful, and they successfully transported all of his belongings without any damages. Ultimately, he was happy with the service.

They did great. It took less time than had been estimated. They called the day before, showed up on time and completed the move with no damages. The guys were also really nice!

Move finished in 8 hours. Excellent explanation of everything they were doing plus details of move before starting. Actual cost was less than the original preliminary estimate. They were insured. The guys doing the move were very hard-working and very conscientious. There was no damage that I have found to the house I moved out of or the house moved into. They were very flexible working with me on timing and very responsive to any questions before and during the move. Would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend to friends/family.

From the time I called to schedule the move to the time it took place, everything was done with professionalism. These two guys worked extremely hard to move my large, bulky furniture to my new location. The office staff was polite. The movers were fast, and extremely courteous. Thank you so much for your hard work.

The guys arrived on time, worked nonstop, did a great job. Our furniture is This End Up sturdy stuff so no problem with it riding in the truck with the saws and stuff. If you have delicate antique furniture, you probably would want to let the guys know you need them to super pad the stuff. They will do anything you ask of them.
