I have used Home Depot many times for flooring purchases and installation, and the service is always good. They are timely and professional, a bit on the pricey side in installation, but they do a good job.

They did a nice job, but when I open the windows from the top the screen comes down with the window and I have to push it back up. Sometimes the screens fall down in high winds as well. My other replacement windows from another company don't have this problem.

They lead me through the good the medium and the bad of many items that were needed to replace our home.  They even replaced a sink that had come a long way just because I wanted only that sink.  Unfortunately when it arrived it was broken and they still did not give up on me but assisted me in choosing something similar and actually better.  They even stayed after hours on several occasions to assist us with getting things for the contractors to rebuild our home.  It burned on Memorial Day 2009 and we moved back in the first week of November of that year.  Just remarkable!!!!!

Initially ordered a stove on homedepot.com on 5/30.  Given confirmation number and delivery date of 6-5.  On 6-3 we received an email saying they had "tried to reach us" (funny no caller id's showed their number.)  I called them back and they stated our order didn't go through.  Had to give all information again, and reorder.  New delivery date, June 12.  On June 12 they showed up with a stove that was damaged in shipping.  Delivery men said they would have them order a new stove for us.  We headed out of town for a camping trip, returned on the 17th, no messages.  I called delivery service, they said our order had been cancelled!  The transfered me to homedepot.com.  Homedepot.com said they would reorder the stove and call us back that day.  Received two messages the next day.  First said order was put in, Delivery date of June 21.  Second message said GE (the delivery company) would not issue a P.O., so I needed to call the store I purchased it at.....I purchased it ONLINE!  So, I called GE to reissue the P.O., they told me to call Homedepot.com.  The answering service said wait time would be 12 minutes.....one hour and 42 minutes later.....no resolution.  They gave me a store number that had received the credit, said I needed to take it to the store level.  I called Nikki and FINALLY got my order placed, new delivery date June 24.  The stove came in on time, but had a sever dent in the side (unnoticeable once installed, I accepted a $75 discount--supposedly a check will be mailed to us.)  Also, after delivery men left, I noticed a piece of trim on the front of the stove that was bent---I have been without a stove since May 29, so I am just accepting in because I do not want to deal with home depot any more!

I guess their price is reasonable. Their place is more roomy to walk around so it's easier to get to things. I think their staff is nicer.

We purchased an LG Dishwasher and Microwave on 11/9/12 from Home Depot and scheduled installation on 11/14/12.  We left the store happy in our purchase and anticipated the new appliances being installed prior to Thanksgiving week.  We were to get a phone call the evening before to give us a time frame for installation but it never happened.  I called Home Depot the following day to get that information and after talking to sales and customer service we found out our order was never placed and to make matters worse we actually paid for someone else's order instead of ours.  It took the day to sort out the confusion and credit my credit card for the mistake and recharge us properly for our appliances.  You know when you credit a charge account it takes several days for it to clear.  So for those several days I had the wrong order and and additional $1000.00 charged on my credit card.  What makes it worse now is our installation was put off and home depot wanted to do it the week of Thanksgiving.  That wasn't acceptable to us because our house was full of visiting family. Installation was reluctantly rescheduled for 11/26/12.
Now for the next set of issues.  Installation was done by GE Service.  The tech wasn't in the house for 30 seconds when he started spouting off things he wasn't going to do or wasn't allowed to do.  He wasn't allowed to do electrical or plumbing.  I guess those things aren't really necessary  for a dishwasher install. (I'm sarcastic sometimes). I was told I would have to hire a plumber although the pre-installation fact sheet did not mention those items that were not allowed to be performed.   Since they were removing our existing dishwasher everything should have been ready for a hookup and slide in for the new one.   I feel the service people could have been more professional in their methods and communication.  The Microwave went in okay although it is in a little crooked.  As they were leaving the tech wanted me to leave a 5 star rating for their service when a followup phone surveyor called.  He said anything less than 5 rating wasn't acceptable to their supervisors and that if I felt that the service was less than a 5 rating I should just hang up when they called and it would not be counted against them.  I left a far less than a 5 rating.  Now I'm waiting for my plumber who won't be here until 11/29/12.

for us. High pressure sales and outright lies on some things (like
other companies would not have similar warranties. Other companies
absolutely had similar warranties). We do not recommend them at all.

I could not be happier with the service and product provided by Home Depot and their installers.  They were friendly, helpful, and pretty darn knowledgeable for a big box store.  The carpet is perfect and the stories about extra padding or carpet being taken for later use by the installers is a lie.  It was a 2 day, whole house install and the installers were great about the best way to move and store all of the furniture (5 bedrooms with closets in the upstairs alone!)  They were awesome, had several tips about carpet maintenance and were even able to eliminate a seam or two.  They were even able to accommodate a change in how we carpeted the stairs without a problem, complaint, or price change.  Add 12 months no interest and super fast turn around and it was pretty much a perfect transaction.

Their prices are reasonable. They were all pretty helpful. It was pretty good.

We bought a new home July 2011 and it needed new windows and doors.  We have a long history with Home Depot and decided to go with this company because of it's History and Customer Services.  The Home Depot has been great.  We were treated with respect, kindness and a positive attitude.  We were constantly updated on all levels of the installation process.  They came out to our home and discussed every detail of their services and what we can expect.  They were very thorough.  Our contractor (Bob) was very professional and courteous.  He arrived at our home and immediately went to work.  Bob kept us informed and notified us immediately when problems arose.  when an issue did arise he discussed it with us before any action was taken.  He showed respect, restraint and dedication to his profession.  We enjoyed having him do the job and are very happy with the outcome.  Bob did a great job and we are happy that he was given our contract both times.   He took his time and made sure the jobs were done right.  He tried as hard as possible to make sure our lives were not too inconvenienced.   We are happy we choose this company.  Our windows look great.  They make our home look even more beautiful.  Our doors are wonderful/beautiful, safe and secure.  Thank You!

Everything went excellent. The installer was prompt, he did an excellent job, and he was professional. We have had them install carpets in the past and I will continue to use them.

It was an indoor and outdoor carpet for our basement floor and was just the play room area, so it wasn’t a big area and may have bee 15/15. The selection was not great and I don’t think they had a lot of colors or anything and they just had what they had. The service is not usually great and you just need to help yourself. Our expectations were not high and we certainly knew what service to expect there. I don’t think you can expect much of professionalism there.

The workers who came were very professional and they finished the work within 6 hours. They cleaned up after themselves. They were good.

The people who came out were another business that was contracted by Home Depot. They explained everything they were going to do, were professional, and did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend them to others.

While he was working on fixing the problem, he involved a Customer Sales Representative who was the best service rep I ever dealt with. She was professional, thorough, and really helped find a solution. Since we are doing a lot of updating, I always go to Home Depot now, knowing that they stand behind their products and service providers, and that they work really hard to satisfy their customers. I couldn't have been more impressed!

I did not have any hot water, so I wasn't able to shop around. I went to the store and bought the unit. The gut delivered it on time, installed it quickly and took away the old one without any mess.

They were very friendly when they were there working. They are very professional about the job. They showed up on time to do the work for us.
