XTREME CONTRACTING SERVICES LLC

First day - workers and owner, Tim Moore, show up without supplies to begin the job. They needed our first payment to buy supplies. We were ready to make first payment by credit card at this time as Tim Moore stated in our estimate meeting that he DID accept credit cards. He informed us this first day on the job that he wasn't able to accept credit cards now. The biggest part of the first day on the job was wasted due to the handling of this and the need for workers to use customers credit card to go buy supplies that should have been obtained prior to showing up. After a few weeks, Tim Moore was able to secure the use of PayPal for his payments. He billed us the $450.fee that PayPal charges for their services stating that he normally splits this fee with his customers! AMAZING!!! In addition, the workers had obviously not been informed of what was to be done per the written contract as the customer daily had to micro manage the job. Tim's workers were wonderful, but also very frustrated as well due to this. Tim Moore did not apply two coats of Drilock paint as his quoted written estimate promises - as witnessed by the customer. Customer purchased and competed second coat on a Saturday to ensure all was properly prepared. In addition, Tim Moore did not complete as quoted on estimate a concrete block wall that was to be caulked and painted. Tim only applied paint. At the time he claimed the job was complete, we still had a room of nonfunctional electrical outlets. AND, Tim at this time had been paid in full!! We tried repeatedly to contact Tim by phone to get the electrical completed, but he would not return calls. When we finally did get hold of Tim Moore, he blamed us and threatened us!!! Tim claimed that our repeated phone calls to him were harassing! HE DID NOT RETURN OUR CALLS AND WE ONLY WANTED OUR JOB COMPLETED AS HE HAD BEEN PAID IN FULL!! His wife got on the phone and called us "evil, evil people"!! We expected our job to be completed as Tim Moore had written the estimate. We also expected to be able to pay in the manner which was originally agreed upon or should have at least been contacted of the necessary changes of policy. Our job was obviously too big for a company that did not have the necessary funds to begin the job, nor the ability to properly estimate the job. Unfortunately, unjustified name calling by Tim Moore and his wife was the result of Tim Moore's ability to admit mistakes.

I was desperate to get someone to replace the bathroom floor after another contractor told me my job was too small for them. Tim was contacted by my realtor and he responded the same day. His quote was several hundred less than another I received. He also quoted painting the porch after some discussion about other things he can do. We had him do both since the quote was so reasonable. He also could do the job in the next week which was very important to me. The project took 2 days as planned and his assistant was very polite & great at painting. Tim was always professional and did a great job with the floor. I was most impressed with how he was mentoring his assistant in the bathroom work. I think he did a great job!!

It went great! He is friendly. Prices are reasonable and they are easy to work with. They also do a good job of cleaning up after themselves.

Tim Moore and his crew were fantastic. I have an elderly mother at home, and she gushed about how polite and nice all the "boys" were. They were very prompt (at my home at 8:00 am on the dot), efficient, and neat. Start to finish, my new bathroom took about 3 weeks. I have worked with a lot of contractors, and I'm usually dissapointed. Not this time. I usually do my own painting because I'm good at it, and very picky. I went with two colors, and it was trimmed out and painted beautifully. My bathroom looks great, and they were true professionals. The quote they gave me was thousands less than other quotes, and their work was very good. In fact, they installed insulation that he forgot to add to the quote, and had the electrician redistribute some of the electric loads at no additional cost. I am very, very, happy with my bathroom, and I will use Xtreme for any other projects I can. It is so great to find a contractor that you can count on!

When I called Tim on the phone to request an estimate he was very friendly and had a somewhat quiet sense of confidence about him that immediately gained my trust. The project turned out wonderful from start to finish. I am a recent Angie's List Customer and had to recommend this company.
