I never received a phone call from this company

This work went very well. We are pleased! The owner, Hanno Schickram discussed the work with us, then sent an estimate by email. We agreed on a date for the work to be done. He showed up on time, worked steadily with his industrious son, cleaned up after the first day, and returned the second day to finish the work and cleaned up again. He had arranged delivery of the steel posts for a time when he was there to bring them into the basement. Everything went smoothly. Both men were polite and professional in their work and their attitude. We would definitely hire them to do other work in our old Clintonville home.

We had a general idea of what we wanted and how we wanted the space rearranged. Mr. Schickram took our basic ideas concerning layout and product and created an absolutely stunning design that included everything we wanted in addition to things we had not yet considered. The same applied to the product selection. We were taken to three different granite vendors to find that ?just right? set of granite slabs and on a like tour for cabinetry. We had already identified the appliances but were happily convinced to consider a couple of options that have worked out wonderfully. When the actual work commenced progress moved along nicely with the only hold ups coming from waiting for product delivery. All the trades people were as considerate as could be given the scope of the work keeping the dust to a minimum and the work area clean. The attention to detail amazed us both. As an example, after the painters had finished Mr. Schickram called them back to repaint part of the ceiling out of concern for flaws that frankly neither my wife nor I could discern. The project was completed within the general estimated time frame and on budget.

Hanno is great to work with. After his initial visit, he brought samples to our house for us to look at versus another contractor we contacted who just showed us pictures and recommended several businesses for us to visit to see samples. He recommended several features for the 1/2 bath that we never would have thought of. He and his crew are very conscientious and extremely neat. There is never any dust -- it's like they were never there..
