Everyone arrived on time. Work was conducted with care and meticulous detail. At the close of each workday, our yard and gardens were spotless. We especially appreciated Ed's assistance in pairing us with an insulating contractor who completed that phase just prior to the siding. This has been the easiest and most pleasant project we have done on the house to date.

Newlook siding was a pleasure to work with. Ed was very attentive and seemed to really care that his customers were satisfied. The work performed was of excellent quality and my house looks great! Newlook siding is very professional and will get the job done right. I highly recommend them to anyone.

It was a great pleasure to do business with Ed. He and his crew (Dan & Art) were very friendly, prompt and knowledgeable. They were also very approachable when I had questions and they were focused on making sure the job was done right. Being an older home there were some unexpected issues that were handled with ease. Dan is a true craftsman. Overall, Newlook offers very reasonable pricing on both quality materials and installation. Moreover, their service and customer care are truly outstanding. I will use only them in the future.

We are more than thrilled with the siding work NewLook Siding did on our house this summer. It looks and feels like our home now?not just a house. We had our whole home resided with new vinyl siding and added new aluminum window trim and shutters; replacing old faded and hail-dented 20+ year-old aluminum, damaged or missing window trim and faded shutters. We contacted 5 different local contractors; only 2 of which responded to us. We felt Ed with NewLook was by far the most responsive and honest with us. We didn?t get that ?used car salesman? treatment from him. He answered all our questions and left us with quotes that did not change once the job was done, as he promised. Ed provided information to us on all our material options (vinyl, insulated vinyl and composite plank) and their corresponding pricing, dropped off to us numerous color and material samples and answered our questions via email, by phone or in person. His crew ? Jose and Armando ? were complete gentlemen. They were very polite, prompt, worked some long, hot days, cleaned our yard daily of any debris and answered any questions we had along the way. The hardest part of the project was the weather. It was the rainiest July & July we can remember. It rained a few days each week for 5 weeks! Ed and crew were diligent in making sure our house was weather-tight during the removal/installation process when the weather became uncooperative. Our home looks amazing and we?ve had so many complements from neighbors and friends on how great the house looks now! We?d like to thank NewLook for an incredible job and would not hesitate to work with them again.

We are very happy that we hired Newlook for our project. Thanks to Ed, the owner, it was a smooth and easy process and the work was excellent. The crew showed up promptly each morning and worked late. They paid amazing attention to the smallest details, cleaned up at the end of each day and were happy to explain their process at any time. It was very clear and gratifying to see that they all took great pride in their work. Ed told us in advance that we would see this, and he was right. When they were finished, they even cleaned our gutters all around the house to make sure everything looked fresh. After the job was finished and we got our first rain, they came back to check for any leaks in the gutters and re-seal as needed. I waited a little while to write this review, just to see if any issues or concerns surfaced. But I haven't seen and can't think of a single thing that I would change - the house looks great. But if something should pop up, I feel comfortable that Ed will honor his warranty and make it right.

A happy ending to years of worry and chasing the wrong problem. I had the chimney cap finally replaced last April but it had been leaking for years without my knowledge. I had also insulated the chase and had a gas starter installed at the same time. However I still had an ugly mess that birds were starting to attack on the outside. Newlook Siding was at the top of the Angie's list options and the first of 3 I intended to call. Ed Baranek answered the phone and walked me through the process. I decided not to call the other two. Ed set up an appointment and arrived right on time. We looked over the chimney and Ed explained the steps to do the repair which included removal of the damaged siding, inspection, removal of any additionally damaged wood, replacement of that wood, hose wrapping everything and finally replacement of the siding. All trim and siding would be pre-painted both sides with matching stain from the same manufacturer I used to paint the house. That is exactly what happened. The crew showed up at 9AM Monday morning, set up and removed the damaged siding. The whole back and 1/2 of one side. There was considerable water damage to the ODF underlayment and also a few structural issues. Short story is that it took an extra 1/2 day of labor, several 2X10 and 2X4's and some careful jacking to replace the damaged wood. After all of that, there was no movement to my new fireplace tile, not even a crack! Finally, they got to the siding and finished that is just a few hours. Everything is perfectly level, my fireplace is saved. It rained shortly after they finished and everything stayed dry and beautiful. I was expecting to pay more for the additional repairs but ED covered it for the original estimate and even gave me the Angies list 5% discount. What a relief to have this finally and completely fixed. Did I mention Ed's warranty? I'll be calling him in the spring for another issue. No reason to look any further.

They did excellent work. When we moved into this house, the gutters were in good shape but at bad angles due to the house settling over the years. Newlook came out and readjusted the angle of the gutters so they would drain properly, and replaced the existing rotting soffits with aluminum. Since we have a ranch this was a pretty big job. After the work was done, there was one place where the gutters leaked. The owner himself came out with a crew to figure it out. Turns out the problem was with the roof (we'll be replacing it in the next 2-3 years I expect) but he shored it up to fix the leak. Of course the leak had not been Newlook's fault in any way, so they really went above and beyond in fixing that (at no extra cost to boot). Also, they cleaned the gutters up - something we hadn't even though to ask for - so the neighbors thought we had had new gutters installed!

Newlook replaced the worn out cedar lap siding on the front of our house with the James Hardie cement board. Ed was great at providing ideas and helped us through the selection process. Newlook's crew showed up on time and were very helpful and respectful. They completed the work on time. There were a couple of areas that needed attention after the walk through after the job completion, but Ed had them back to correct them the next day. We have been getting compliments on how good the house looks; it looks new again!

I can't praise this company enough. Ed was so personable and sincerely cared about us as customers. He oversaw the project from beginning to end. He went above and beyond to make this project exactly what we wanted, and even tied up some loose ends on our porch construction that the other contractor failed to plan for. His installation crew was very committed, often putting in 12 hour days to finish the job. They always cleaned up and were very friendly and respected our home/yard.

This provider exceeded my expectations in every way and even did some some additional work as a favor without charging for it. The owner of the company was accessible throughout the job and the workers were very professional and completely trustworthy. There was never any discussion about change orders or additional charges. This outfit works at a level of excellence almost unheard of today.

New Look always responded quickly to my requests starting with my asking for an estimate. They were thorough but never pushy. They did an excellent job siding my house. They were right on schedule! I highly recommend them.

Vince's team was courteous and professional! We received a call two days before the scheduled time to make sure we were okay with the service start date. We were elated because they were able to complete our job two week ahead of when they originally thought they would be able to. The installers were professional, friendly and thorough. They expertly installed the fascia for our entire house as described in our work-order. They also left zero trace of any work. It was like they were never there! Truly valued the follow-up from NLS and their commitment to our satisfaction. We would highly recommend them for any siding or repair need.

We obtained several estimates prior to hiring anyone to repair our home. While Newlook was not the cheapest, they were the most knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt company we interviewed. Choosing Newlook was a great decision because they not only beat their deadline by over a week but they also performed the work to where the repairs are seamless.

This is a completely professional company. Workers were very skilled, made no excessive noise and left no mess of any kind, and were also polite and personable! Communication was excellent and work was completed quickly despite the constant rain. Work was carefully checked today and even the flower pot hooks were replaced. I can't see any way in which they could have done better and would recommend them to anyone. They will come back next year to replace the other two sides of our garage.

Ed, Vince and all those I dealt with at Newlook Siding were professional and personable. I explained my problems (missing portion of siding & gutter repair). I seriously didn't expect anything proposed to be affordable at the moment. I was given a proposal which was broken down into several options. In the end, I got gutter replacement and siding repair. I had previously gotten an estimate for the siding repair, alone, at around $1200.00 for the one strip/area ( alum. siding). Newlook was able to matchup and replace the whole face of siding on that paticular section of gable(w/vinyl) and replace gutters for around $1600.00. Also, I forgot to mention the Angie's List coupon, but they automatically included the discount in the final bill. I'm very pleased!

From start to finish, project went better than I expected it to. This was a lot of work and it was completed within the time quoted, the end result is simply amazing. No one can believe the difference in the house. Ed did everything he promised, and then some. He also guarantees his work, no questions asked. I will recommend him to everyone I know that is thinking about having their house done. I have a couple projects that are going to be completed next year, and Ed is coming back after that work is complete to make sure the siding covers up any new areas due to the new projects. You simply can't find service like this, and believe me, I have had my share of bad contractors.

Replaced wall of shingles with new shingles and locally repaired shingles throughout the exterior. They quickly addressed minor concerns and promptly answered questions as they occurred.

They came out on short notice and did the repairs before home sale.

We originally hired New Look to do the work on 7/18/2007 and they came out and replaced all the work as asked. The only concern I had originally was that they tried to reuse a lot of the fascia board. I wouldn't mind, if they would have removed the price from the quote as well. But I did point out that I would like a couple of the boards replaced where the intended to keep old boards. The install team was very nice of which Ed was a part of back then and they worked hard to make sure we were happy and did a good job. We did notice about 10 months later that there was a separation in some of the siding and we made a call out to the company. The owners son at that time came out and adjusted the siding to where the separation was no longer there. That brings us to our recent experience with them. We have been trying for over 4 months to get Ed or someone on his team to come and look at a hole we have in the siding. My wife mentioned she thought it possibly was created by a woodpecker because we do have one that is just off our property, and she assumed he was after a bug that may have been behind the siding. Well Ed's response to that was very condescending and made my wife feel belittled as he mentioned it was most likely from the kids or a ball. The only problem with that is there are no kids that play with balls around here and the hole is about 14 feet off the ground. My wife has had multiple conversations with Ed which has ranged from Him saying he ordered the part, has the part, will install the part, gave three dates which this would happen and then he never called or showed. And then he also on one occasion after talking to her many times couldn't remember who she was. So after that I have tried to call and we NEVER get a call back. And in one of the areas, where I believe they did not replace the fascia, the siding is already starting to come away most likely because of bad boards. However I main concern is getting this small hole repaired which it is apparent I am going to have to find another provider at this point. So for now on I intend not to use New Look any further, but encourage people to use a different company who values the customers and relationships they build. Not one who once the check clears forget what customer service means. The follow through is horrible. The run around is ridiculous. And the company has gone down hill since we were originally customers.

The first thing I have to say about Ed Baranek is that he knows his products and his measurements. I watched him and his team install one of the windows in the master bedroom, and I've never seen such a great fit in old work. I was dumbstruck impressed. The aluminum trim was meticulously done and it looks great. Ed has been responsive to all of my technical questions with reason and information rather than condescension. Only time will tell if I'm truly happy with the long term performance of the window, but the short term they seem fine (the difference in exterior noise is huge). The installation will doubtless be fine for the long haul. I am leaving punctuality as NA due to weather delays which were unavoidable.

5/04/2015, I contacted Newlook Siding Inc. for a quote on having the siding replaced on my garage, front and back, replacement of damaged fascia wood, and having the fascia covered in aluminum. I spoke with a most pleasant woman who took all of my information and informed me that Vince or Ed would be contacting me to set up an appointment. A couple hours later Vince called and we scheduled an appointment for 5/06/2015 at 9:00 am. 5/06/2015 Vince arrived on time and we begin the walk around, he was very knowledgeable and took time when explaining things to me. He explained the different types of siding, the process of the work that would take place and the methods of payment. Once we completed our original business (the garage), we discussed having the entire house sided. Our visit ended with Vince agreeing to supply me with two quotes one for the garage and one for the house and garage. 5/08/2015 Vince called with the quotes, both very agreeable; we decided to proceed with the garage project only the period for starting would be in about two weeks. 5/12/2015 received a call from Vince stating that the people would be available to begin the work on 5/13/2015 if that was OK with me. 5/13/2015 The workers arrived on time and begin straight to work, it began with two workers, and one time I saw an additional two. They were definitely all about business, extremely careful and very particular that everything was just right. About 3/4th of the way through the job Vince stopped in to check on the progress and to make sure that I was getting what I expected. The job was completed in one day. The workers cleaned up everything, even sweeping the driveway. I am so glad that I chose Newlook Siding for this project should I decide to replace the siding on my house I will definitely consider them for the project.

The job went extremely well from start to finish. The crew showed up promptly at 8 every morning ready to work . It took about a day and a half to tear off the old wood siding. All debris was promptly placed in the dumpster. The placement and installation of the new siding shows a real commitment to doing it right the first time! The lead worker approached me about several small details that needed to be clarified and was very helpful. The gutters also look very good. Ed is a first class guy who was up front about all details of them project.they also took off our shutter and awning and took them to their shop to paint. I would highly recommend NewLook Siding to anyone without hesitation!

Ed, Dan and Art are the best team we've ever worked with. We have a 30-year-old 2-story custom home, and the woodpeckers had destroyed the siding. We wanted bird- and insect-proof siding that required little or no maintenance. Over the winter, Dan and Art completely re-sided our house. Yes, the same winter we recorded temperatures of -15º and had inches of ice on the ground for two months. If it wasn't snowing or raining, they were here, one on the ladder and one at the saw. Our house is an odd shape, and the siding needed to be installed at an angle on some walls. We also have a curved outside wall that mimics an inside staircase. Although they had to change their initial plan because the siding doesn't bend, the finished curved wall is gorgeous. We cannot emphasize enough how hard these people worked and how flexible they were with our needs. They helped us (OK, they helped ME) in and out of our driveway when we had their extra vehicles, they moved all the stuff that had accumulated around the outside of the house, and they cleaned up every bit of trash from the job. They were prompt, polite puzzle-solvers. When they were done, everything was done RIGHT. They worked smart. We have complete confidence in recommending these folks.
