The house looks great and the staff were super friendly and very accommodating. The shape of our house has many cuts/bends and they did great (it's a gambrel shaped house). They also had to put trim on an odd shaped door, and it looks great. They always cleaned up after themselves each night. My only issue was the crew didn't show up every day to work (and it wasn't raining). Some of it was due to waiting for supplies, but I'm not sure about other days. Overall project took 3 weeks to complete. Professional company and crew. Would definitely recommend.

They were completely on time. They did a beautiful job and did it in the time they said it would take. They cared about their work.

I was advised on April 13, 2009 that Randy would come out and take a look at our home. To date, May 20, 2009, I have received no further communication.

This company honored the terms in the contract even though 8 months had passed. They were the only company of 3 I contacted that would do the repair job needed. Not only did their "can-do" attitude impress me, but when some other, unforeseen problems arose, they not only took care of them but they added no additional charges. The job was done quickly and efficiently. It looks great.

I called after siding came off after heavy wind end of December. NewLook came to the house very quickly & put up Tyvek protector so exposed area would not get wet & be able to breath so it could dry. NewLook worked with insurance & as soon as weather was okay, they started and finished. New siding, everything is great!

As promised, New Look associates were working on my siding just two days after my meeting with the owner (I'm sorry I can't remember his name). The guys were about half-way done when I arrived home from work and they were just waiting for more material. This was shortly after the ice storm and while they waited, they thoughtfully removed the ice from my gutters. Such nice guys. They finished the work quickly once the additional material arrived and it was perfect. I was impressed from the beginning, every person that I came into contact with was professional, friendly and courteous. The work they did was just right and I would hire them again without a second thought. Thanks guys!

Sales rep was great. You could tell he had been doing his job for a while. No high pressure, he listened to us and provided the services we wanted. No high pressure to sign. From the very beginning, Randy McGarvey(Vice President)was by to check on the job progress. He gave us a direct phone number to call. When we did have a question he was quick to answer. Extremely good to work with. Now for the installer. He was an artist when it came to installing the siding and trim work. His work was near perfect. I have to admit that he drove me crazy as he had only one speed, slow and steady. I even asked him if he was paid hourly or by the job. He was paid by the job. Randy and I discussed the job progress and I was told I would be totally happy with the finished job. He was right. I should mention here that the work crew was never more than three, the installer and two helpers. I never had to worry about if the work was the same on my entire house. If I ever have a problem, I am going to make sure I get George back.

First, we felt from the very start that Newlook was the way we wanted to go because when Nic came out we felt that it was more than just a job for him. The windows only took two days to do with some finishing work completed a week later. The crew that did the windows were quick and friendly. The siding took about 4 - 5 weeks to complete - due to weather and holidays (completed around Thanksgiving). Thanks to Lance and Steve for a great job. We are happy and would recommend Newlook to anyone looking for siding/windows.

It went ok. When signing the contract, I had written a date that the work needed to be completed by. I had to call 3 times before I received a return call as the "due date" approached. My messages stated that if the company was too busy, I would be happy to go with another company, if they would let me out of the contract. After no response, frustrated, I reported their lack of response to Angies List. The workers finally came and seemed to do quality work. However, I was under the impression that another corner of the house would be replaced. When the company received my Angies list report, the VP called me. He was very kind and polite through all of my dealings with him. He sincerely seemed like he wanted to make things right. The bottom line seems to be miscommunication. When I spoke with the sales man writing the contract I told him that I wanted the rotted wood replaced. I pointed to several spots on the house. Evidently, some of the placed I thought were rotted were not. Therefore, they did not fix those sections, but I was never told those sections just needed a coat of paint. I would have liked the sales-writer to slowly talk to me through each section of how he came up with the estimate. When I agreed to the price, I had assumed the lengths that were included, included all of the sections that I was hoping to be fixed. In the end, the VP and salesman came to the house and we figured these things out. As they were sure to point out to me, if I would have "walked out" the measurements, I would have known that what I had assumed would be fixed was more than what was written in the estimate. Another lesson learned in what I need to look for in a contract. The VP wanted to be sure I was satisfied... yes, the work was completed as the contract stated. However, what I spoke to the sales-writer about was not the work that he wrote in the contract. Telling me about the need to paint the wood vs. replacing it would have influenced whether or not I would have had other contractors come out. The VP offered to give me the name and number of his painter at cost in the spring. I'm still left feeling frustrated... maybe more at myself for trusting too much.

Everything turned out terrific. We are very impressed with the quality of the workmanship on all of the jobs. All of the various crews were hardworking, clean and polite. We dealt with Nick, the company president, and really appreciated his insights and advice. While this was a very expensive job, their estimate was the lowest of the three we received, and we got more jobs done with NewLook than what was included in the estimates of the other companies. Our only(minor)complaint was that sometimes there was a lack of communication as to where various aspects of the project stood. But overall, we were extremely pleased with our experience with them. The house looks great. Starting with Nick at the top, and his employees, we thought they were one of the most professional and conscientious companies we have ever worked with. Lots of integrity. I recommend them most highly.

They came out in a reasonable time but their estimate left a lot of room for improvement. The original estimate was 4 short sentences. It did not specify the thickness of the siding (I found out from another company there are at least two), any detail on what was being furnished and an itemized list. After several calls I finally spoke to one of the owners who had the salesman provide a slightly more detailed list of what was actually being done.

They were very good. They were very polite, and explained the entrie process. They did neat, quality work and they were very efficent. The price was very reasonable. I would use them again and reccomend them to others.

The first time I called this company no one called me back. The second time I called I spoke with someone and was told that someone would call me back to schedule an estimate. No one ever called me back. I was disappointed that such a highly rated company wouldn't even return a phone call. I understand that they were probably very swamped with business after the windstorm, but I think it would be more respectful if they returned the call and said they were unable to do an estimate at this time.

Our house had wind damage from the Hurricane Ike storm that hit Columbus in September. It tore off the upper third of our vinyl siding and left some hanging and blowing in the wind. We had a hard time getting an estimate due to severance of storm damage in town. After 3 weeks Bud came out and gave us an estimate which was a little high but what can one do. He came 2 weeks later and repaired the house. He did a very good job and we were pleased with his work. I would hire the company in the future if needed.

NewLook Sidings did an outstanding job from the estimate to the cleanup. Their estimator took detailed measurements and notes and they provided a quote promptly. This was a large house and they kept to their estimated start date and completion time (two weeks). They had a team of three workers who were polite, reliable, neat, and, most importantly, very competent at their trade. They worked solidly for long hours with few breaks and cleaned up at the end of each day. A note about subcontractors: We have been burned in the past by some companies that employ subcontractors. In this case, however, the NewLook installation team was a subcontracted group and did an outstanding job. Two key pieces of information that buyers should seek from a company are "Does the subcontractor work exclusively for your company?" and "How long have your subcontractors been working for your company?". The team that did our siding had been working with NewLook for 5 years and had proven their capabilities. Of greatest importance was that we got a high quality job at a fair price.

Sales and design process went smoothly with an open dialogue of ideas. Quoted price was comparable to other bids. Quality of the product met expectations. When installation started, there seemed to be confusion between the sales and install crew. Parts were left out. Placement of shutters was not to our liking, exactly. Overall we are satisfied, but with more cohesion on site, would have been very satisfied.

They were good. We had some problems with scheduling, it took awhile. Once they were out here, they did it in a day and a half. They were very quick and efficient once they started the job. It wasn t hard to get a hold of them. I would use them again.

After speaking with a number of siding companies, I chose Newlook because they were willing to do some custom work for me and they had the most reasonable price! My house had been damaged in a hail storm and I needed to replace the siding. I met with Randy McGarvey who has a great can do attitude. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable, very cleaver, patient and very honest. At the end of the day, the work done on my home exceeded my expectations. I have beautiful new dentil molding, beautiful REAL WOOD cedar on my windows and lovely new decorative mantels above my two front windows. If you did not know better, you would probably NOT think I had siding on my home. The group was very pleasant to work with and we even missed having them around when they were done! I could go on and on about my excellent experience with this company. I have a degree from the OSU School of Architecture and consider myself a tough client as I am probably more particular than most. I would highly recommend this company.

Overall it went really well. There was only one guy working on it and he took his time and did a really good job. He showed up on time and was efficient.

Great company if you have older siding.

The company was good over all for the siding. In addition to the siding, they also did some roof work on another property I own. The estimate stated that they would have to replace a number of panels on the roof. I found out later that they did not remove the old paneling. When I called them the said that it was sometimes done like that.

They showed up on time to do the work. They just left a note in the mailbox to tell me that they did the work. They cleaned up everything when they were done working.

The service specialist was Walt. He knew exactly what repairs were needed and the work was done to our satisfaction.

We have discolored siding. I wasn't sure if cleaning would be appropriate so we contacted Newlook. They only replace or repair siding and don't do cleaning (which he told us on the phone), but he was still kind enough to come look and see anyway. He was on time, professional, and courteous to the fact that we are new homeowners and didn't know much about home maintenance. In the end we will arrange to have the siding cleaned. However, if I ever need siding replaced, this company will be first on my call list.

I like them, as a matter of fact, I will be hiring them again. The guy I dealt with was the owner, and he was very helpful and very knowledgeable as well as very honest. I would recommend them to anyone.
