Nick was great to work with. He provided me with a timely estimate - to which I did not respond for several weeks as we decided which projects we would be completing this summer. His estimate was very reasonable for the work we needed completed. When I called him to try to schedule, I had questions about why he thought we could install the flashing without replacing all of the siding. He returned to my house to show me in person why he thought his idea was a good one - though he offered to replace all the siding (which obviously would've cost a lot more). I really appreciated how he cared that I understood what they were going to do and how it was actually going to fix my problem. When it came time to schedule, we had developed a significant time crunch in that we were suddenly going to try to put our house up for sale. He was very helpful and was able to get someone to our house the next week (though we had initially discussed 2 weeks later than this) to complete the work just in time for us to put it on the market. The work was done well and cleaned up well too. I would definitely use this company again. I appreciated their flexibility, honesty and good work.

Excellent!! We are so glad we picked an experienced company. Ed and his helper, Johnny, did a wonderful job on a hundred year old house. There were many little details around the windows that took a long time to do right. Nothing in this house is even and they did a great job making things work. We had them install an awning window in the redone back mudroom and new windows in a sun room upstairs. All the siding was insulated underneath which should help with the heating and A/C bills. They cleaned up every day and were sensitive to our schedules. Nick provided us with all the information and suggestions we needed to make our decisions. We had been told that the jalousie windows were not available but Nick found them. We were impressed with Nick's can-do attitude and willingness to listen to what we wanted to get a maintenence-free home. Nick came out for a final inspection. We highly reecommend this company.

Overall good experience. Nick the owner is very easy to work with. Seems honest and not pushy. Just trying to provide what is best for you. The crew was only 2 guys so as you could imagine, it was a long project, about 2 weeks. This was ok because I didn't have a specific rush and it seemed like a complicated wood siding replacement was well done. We love how the house looks, almost brand new.

Nick's team worked in extreme heat but did not slack off. I believe all work done in a timely manner and on budget for a very expensive undertaking.

I spoke with two people. On my first phone call I was given an approximate time frame for our estimate. Today I received a phone call letting us know that they do not have enough work in Delaware County to service my home. I think they were very professional, gave me a contact in Delaware, but were unable to help us based on our location.

I wanted to re-side my 1936-built home, as I was tired of peeling paint and drafts inside. I loked for a contractor for 2 years before deciding on Newlook. Nick was the first (and only) of the many contractors I spoke with who really talked to me about the house, what would work and what I wanted, in addition to educating me on specifics. Ed and Spence spent weeks at my home, carefully re-creating the special architectural details that make the 1936-built home unique. This was essentially a trim job with a little siding. They did a fantastic job-true craftsmen. My home was completely re-exteriored using HardiPlank, and looks better than it ever has. When the windstorms of last summer and autumn came through, I had NO damage to the hardiplank, even though large branches had come down and scraped along the side of the house.

Newlook did a great job on our house. They were clean and neat and the job was done on time.

Several years ago during a severe thunder storm with very large hail, our house suffered serious damage requiring a new roof, mail box, gutters and down spouts. We did not realize at that time that our cedar siding had sustained many tiny nicks and divots from the hail. Years passed. These tiny nicks and divots became large dents and cracks. The unsightliness led us to decide to replace the cedar siding with something more durable. We attempted to obtain several estimates; however, NewLook was the only company to follow through. We dealt with the ownwer, Nick Weidner, a very congenial, courteous gentleman. We ultimately settled on fiber cement siding to replace the cedar siding. Nick's crew was prompt, efficient and couteous. They were careful to clean up at the end of their work day. The front of our house looks great! We highly recommend this company to others!

Nick was recommended by my parents who used New Look several years ago. Nick was very helpful with ideas and trying to get the best product for the price. Lance and Steve did a great job. Great guys who I talked to everyday I was home and who petted the dogs everyday. Lance did a great job. The house looks better than it ever did. A BIG IMPROVEMENT! Excellent! Like most people, I had just assumed I needed to stick with the same color siding (one of the many shades of beige that the builder had offered when we had the house built). First, Nick encouraged me to think about what I might really like and we discussed colors and materials in detail as well as the faded resistance of the newer colors available in vinyl siding. So, we now have a very distinctive blue house that still excites me when I see it. Once the colors and materials were selected and delivered, the work began. This was a wonderful experience. The men showed up promptly, worked diligently and cleaned up every day. They are consummate professionals. Aside from the new colors on the house, we also had the particle board trim around windows and corners, etc replaced with aluminum. We have some quarter round windows at the back that required a lot of exacting work to trim with the metal. These men are true craftsmen and take pride in their work, artfully solving difficult areas and improving the look of the house in many small ways. They even created a custom solution to a spot where two sections of house come together on an inside corner and the existing gutter hung down awkwardly due to the angle required to flow the water and was an ugly spot- now the gutter is up where it should be and works perfectly. They also added more ventilation in the soffits which allows the house to breathe better. Another thing that set Newlook apart was the fact that we did not need to put down a deposit: we did not write a check until the work was completed and we had a walk-thru with Nick. This was a first in my experience. By the way, now that the outside of our house is so distinctive, I looked at the very neutral interior and decided it was boring. So, I am now in the process of repainting the inside of the house to give it as much character as the outside - just giving you fair warning that thinking outside the box can get to be a habit:-) But it is fun. Anyway - I highly recommend Newlook. You will be amazed at the difference in the look of your house if you hire these craftsmen to work on it.

Our cedar sided home had several areas that had weathered and needed replacement and repairs. Our salesman Nick was an excellent resource and provided some tips and options. We called 2other companies but none compared to the knowledge, responsiveness and professionalism. When we decided to go with Nick and Newlook, our job was immediately put on the schedule. The crew arrived on time, worked diligently and cleaned up each day. We couldn't be more pleased.

We were also having our roof replaced at the same time. Ed and his assistant came out before the roof was replaced and tore off the siding where it touched the roof before the new roof was put on. He said that it would provide a better job if the siding was replaced after the roof was replaced so that he could properly install new flashing. It took a little longer to do the job than originally planned. Ed and his crew came out while the roofing company was still working. After the roofing company was done with the area around the dormers, Ed immediately started working on putting the new siding on the dormers. Nulook primed all of the cedar siding on all sides. They then stained the siding using the stain formula we were given by the people who painted our house a few years ago. After Ed put up the new siding and trim on the dormers he said that the stain did not look like a good match to what was already on the house. He took a piece of the old siding to a paint store and had them do a computer color match the old stain. He then restained the dormers with the new stain and had all of the other replaced siding restained with two coats. His work was very meticulous. We purchased the house when it was 7 years old. The dormers did not look this good when we bought the house. Ed corrected several mistakes made by the original builder. This is the best our house has look since we bought it 25 years ago. Our neighbors have commented on how good the house looks after the siding replacement. Hopefully we will not need Nulook's services again for some time but we would definitely have them back to do more work in the future.

Very pleased with the job. Showed up on a Saturday and continued Monday-Friday. They cleaned up each night before they left. Would definitely consider working with them again.

I called Newlook Siding in early May. The person that answered the phone sounded cheerful. I told her the service I wanted performed: 3-4 pieces of damaged siding replaced on my home. She told me "I'll put you on the list for service". That was the only contact I had with this company. No one hasn't shown up to give me an estimate. There also hasn't been any update as to when they might show up. I called another company.

Everything went very well. I had gotten an estimate from this company last year and had put off having the work done. I called New Look and they were able to find a record of the estimate and fax it to me. The price was the same as last year except for a slight increase in the price of vinyl siding. (I was told that the price for vinyl fluctuates as gas prices do.) Nick came out to give me an estimate and was very thorough in his process. He answered any questions that I had and put me on the schedule. He called me on the way to work one day and told me that crew was coming out; it was sooner than expected. The men who did the job were excellent. They were still working when I got home around 7 that night and continued until it was dark. They cleaned everything up before starting the next day. They were done for the most part in a day and a half. There was a separate crew who came out to do the gutters later. Ed was one of the guys who was there to do the main work and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. He came out on his way to do another job to install a light fixture I had not been able to pick up while they were there doing the job. I am very pleased with my experience with New Look Sidings. The garage looks great!

Having worked with Newlook Sidings on prior projects (window installation, siding and trim, door installation), I had complete and total confidence in working with them again to design and build a screened porch/deck and patio on my house. I met with them to discuss what I wanted, size, purpose, materials, etc. They made detailed drawings for me to review and 'tweek' anything I wanted to change. They brought me samples of materials, finishes, colors, textures, and helped me make design decisions that fulfilled all of my wishes (one being that it be beautiful AND maintenance free!). This was no small job, and the entire process from beginning to end was great. Their team is made up of true professionals that are friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and the integrity of their work is beyond reproach. I've never seen anyone who worked harder than the team that worked on my project. Good weather, bad weather, late evenings, etc. They were clean and never left a mess for me to deal with, and the final product was so much more than I thought it could be. I'm sure the porch and patio added considerable value to my house and will still be there long after my house is gone.

New Look had very good Angie reviews. I called Dave Fox Remodeling for a second opinion because they have done two remodels for me and I trust them. They also gave New Look a good reference. My siding had faded and the company that provided it has gone out of business. Nick, President of New Look, came and did an evaluation and got me an estimate right away. Two weeks later the shakes and new shutters were in. Three workers were here over four days and did everything requested and more. They went the extra mile to put back my electrical boxes, hose hangers, and dryer vent hood with new surroundings so it all looks new and professional. The guys cleaned up every day, were extremely personable and knowledgeable. They worked in 90 degree heat for four days with no complaint. I would highly recommend New Look.

Ed came out and did the job himself to make sure that everything got done that he promised. The caulking and paint look great. He called to make sure that we were satisfied and explained everything that he did over the phone. We even have the extra paint to use on anything else that needs it. I was very happy with Ed specifically and Newlook in general. I would definitely use them again.

It looks gorgeous. They helped us make choices in terms of our sidings that were a combination of a good value and a good look. They explained the choices and we were able to make our own choices. I spent more than I expected to spend but I got more than I expected to get.
