Mark gave me a great quote that happened to be the lowest quote that I got. But I hired him because I like the vibe that I got from him. He seemed the genuinely care about the details, and wanted to get it right. His crew was great. Brian was the lead, and we was great to talk to and discuss what I wanted done. He too seemed like he was a detail oriented guy who was going to make sure they got it done right. They arrived every morning very punctually, and got right to work. The job was done well. They painted brick, which had never before been painted, stucco, and trim -- basically every surface of the house that wasn't glass. It looks awesome. They painted what they were supposed to, and kept the paint off of everything else. Brian even did some impromptu stucco repair. Of course, only time will tell whether it was a quality paint job. But I am very happy with how it looks today. I would highly recommend Mark and Fresh Touch to anyone.

First of all, there was a very quick response from Mark Tabor late last fall when I asked for an initial estimate. Mark was very detailed about what would be done at every step and put it all in writing. It would be impossible to recommend this company more highly. The careful preparation (power washing, wood prep and repair, etc) was the best I have ever seen, very thorough. At the end of each day the foreman of the job, John, checked around the house to make sure things were okay before leaving. He himself did some wood repair to a badly rotted area of a window to the point I cannot tell that there was anything wrong, as well as replacing a small area of soffet that was badly in need of repair. The color match was perfect on both the house and shutters and was applied beautifully. I've walked around the house a couple times and I see nothing that could possibly have been better. I also feel that their price is extremely good for this much work. Not to mention the guys did it in heat up to 105 degrees.....and survived :) Very very fine experience with Mr. Tabor and the whole crew.

Mark arrived on time on the day of our appointment and listened to what we wanted to accomplish with the painting of our home. Mark inspected our home and stated that his crew could complete the job in about 2 days. We wanted a change in color and Mark was able to help us choose a color that we were excited about. Before leaving Mark asked for my e-mail address and said that he would send an estimate within the next day or two. I received an e-mail with an estimate the next day and agreed to the terms. Due to the amount of rain that we received in the spring Fresh Touch wasn't able to start for about a month after the contract was signed but that wasn't Mark's fault. He kept us up to date, via e-mail, about possible start dates. As the rainy season (early spring) subsided, Mark e-mailed us to let us know that the power washer was scheduled and they will be out to paint about a week later. True to his word, the power washer arrived on time on the day that he was scheduled. Mark e-mailed us to let us know when they would be out to paint. The evening before the scheduled day Mark called to reconfirm and asked if it was okay if they started at 7:30 AM. The next day Mark's crew of three arrived about 15 minutes before the scheduled time. They started working immediately. Mark arrived around 8 AM, dropped off some materials, spoke with me and the crew. Before leaving he told me to call if I had any questions. After about 3 hours another set of employees (3) arrived to help the first set. Everybody was very professional, nice and hardworking. The crew called it quits about 5 PM and they completed about 3/4 of the work. The crew again arrived on time (7:30 AM) on the following work day and managed to complete the remaining work in about 4 hours. Mark arrived sometime after 12 PM and we walked around to inspect the work. They removed the gutters to paint them and painted the trim behind them. They caulked before painting and I removed the door hardware to make it easier for the crew to paint the doors. Overall we were really impressed with the professionalism and punctuality of Mark and the crew of Fresh Touch Painting. Fresh Touch Painting will be our painters of choice for future painting projects.

We've worked with Mark several times in the past and won't ever look for anyone else to paint. He and his crew of painters are professional and do quality work at a reasonable price. Mark will take the extra effort to be sure the job is done right. Even though this was a small job, Mark stopped by the work site to make sure everything was going okay.

They were the lowest in price – 20% less than other quotes I got. They were very professional and we look forward having the work completed.

Project went well from start to finish. Mark was professional throughout the process and very responsive to any and all requests. His communication throughout the process as to when to expect the job to start and end was great as well. Work quality was very high and clean up was very professional. I plan on using them again and am happy to highly recommend their services.

This whole painting project went extremely well. We got an extimate from Mark which was very much the same as another estimate that we got. We were impressed with his knowledge and professionalism and how he could help us with a few problems that we had. We had some rotting wood on the front porch and wondered if they could replace the boards with new ones. Mark said that this would be no problem. Quite often with any wood replacement, you have to find a carpenter to do this and this can lead to a headache with scheduling between a carpenter and painter. I like it when one team can do a job from start to finish. They replaced the two floor boards on the porch and it looks great! We also had some rotting on one of the upper wood windows and they did a great job at replacing the wood there, too. John did the work on the wood replacement and did a fantastic job. We also wanted to be sure that the windows were properly caulked to fill in any gaps and cracks and they did a great job at this. Mark, John and the rest of the team were neat, effecient and always kept us informed as to how the job was progressing. They cleaned up well everyday and the final product looks great. The painting job was great and you can tell that they didn't skimp on the amount of paint that they applied to the wood. They did a fantastic job and everything is painted so neatly. You can tell that these people are professionals and they know their job. This job went so easy and everyone from Fresh Touch Custom Painting was extremely nice and professional. They are great at giving the customer a project that is well done. They really make customer satisfaction a priority and they are proud of their work. I would hire them anytime! I probably wouldn't even bother to get another estimate.

I contacted Fresh Touch & Mark, owner got back to me promptly to schedule a estimate, to fit my schedule. From the time he came out to talk with me about my needs, Mark had an estimate to me within two days. I have built two homes and have done renovations & I can tell you, I have never had an estimate so quickly in any of my previous experiences with any other contractors or such! Fresh Touch will even do a "one coat" on a room which they did on my dining room & my mud room which is a single coat of paint to revitalize your room. If a second coat is needed the guys on site will let you know. Mark & I settled on a start date & told me that "my job" should take three days with three guys working from 8 am to 5 pm. Prior to my start date, I drove Mark crazy with my paint colors because I didn't know what my dining room color was?? I even wanted Pittsburg Paint & Sherwin Williams Paint & Mark was patient & didn't seem to care about this. He commented it goeas with the territory. The guys who worked on my house: John, Matt, Jeff & Ronnie were all professional, courteous, friendly & expert painters. Even when I chose a burgundy paint for my 18 foot great room & because of the humidity didn't dry over night & clearly needed a second coat of paint, they were good natured about it. The last day of the third day when John worked past 5 pm & knew he couldn't get all done because of the rain & humidity, he even offered to come on Memorial Day to finish up. We told him, No Way it is a holiday. Matt came on Tuesday finished up the burgundy wall in the great room, finished painting the trim in the kitchen & any touch up which was minimal we had noticed over the weekend! Fresh Touch Custom Painting is a wonderful painting outfit from start to finish & Mark is lucky to have this crew working for him! Thanks for a wonderful experience & I will call them back!

I found Fresh Touch on Angies List and called for a quote. In a few days I met with Mark who seemed to be a very trustworthy and knowledgable painter. In a few days he provided a quote which I compared to 2 others and I selected another contractor whom I had used before due to price and the historic and unusual nature of our home. I liked Mark and would not hesitate to call him for other jobs.

Mark and his team arrived on time each day and followed instructions precisely. At end of project, Mark did a full walkthrough and personally took care of anything we still had concerns about. These guys do great work at very reasonable prices. They aren't trying to sell you services you don't need and will see the job through to an excellent completion.

Mark and his crew did a fantastic job. We received our quote in February 2011 and wanted to be early on his list of spring projects so that we would have our home finished in time for the Memorial Tournament (we live in Muirfield). He was finished in time (despite some of the rainiest months in Columbus' history!) He also helped us pick out stucco colors, fixed a warped T&G cedar area above our garage, did a few other odds and ends that we offered to pay extra to have him do, but he included without charging us. During the painting proces, we saw areas that he caulked that we wouldn't have expected to be done. If it wasn't for some overspray onto some of the grass adjacent to the house we wouldn't have even known he was here except that our house looks great. He clearly has the homeowners best interest in mind and goes out of his way to make surethat his customer is happy. Highly recommend him. We received quotes from three Angies List providers and he was the most reasonable. the contractor that painted and stained our house previously moved to Florida so we needed to find someone else that we can trust and we found him. I also like the fact that he requires no down payment and is paid upon satisfactory completion of the work.

We needed to paint the entire interior of a neglected home we were purchasing. We hired a drywall person prior to painting to prep all walls and repair holes in the walls from a home theater system but when they were not finished before painting needed to start, Mark from FTC Painting offered his dry-waller to finish the job and would stand behind the quality of the work. We did not supervise the work but I did walk the site each night after they were done. They were very thorough with prepping, covering all of our hard-wood floors with heavy-duty paper. Each day I would relay any of my comments to Mark and they would be addressed by the next day including small changes to the project such as including a wall at the top of the stairs for us. <br> <p> After finishing the work, we had concerns about one wall (a very large vaulted wall in the living room) due to the natural light reflection showing where the drywall repair was completed. After meeting with Mark and his project manager to discuss, they readily agreed to fix the issue and repaint the entire wall that same day. The wall now looks great and we are very satisfied. </p><p> Mark also did a great job managing expectations with paint a weathered front door, letting us know that it will look much better, but will not be perfect. I very much appreciated his honesty and upfront discussion on this point. </p><p> Fresh Touch Custom Painting was not the least expensive quote that we received but they were very professional and we believed they would be most willing to stand behind their name with quality work. We are very happy that we chose them and will be highly considering them for future work painting our exterior. </p> (update: added paragraph breaks)

We had an excellent experience with Fresh Touch Custom Painters. Mark arrived within 48 hours of requesting the estimate. An Angie's List discount was included in the estimate. Prior to painting, Mark sent Jamie, from Sherwin Williams, for a color consult before the final color selections were made. This proved to be a very helpful service. Also, on the first day of painting, two sample containers were provided free of charge and samples painted on the walls in the one room for which the color had not yet been decided. Brian, the crew supervisor, helped prep with the crew and made repairs on the crown molding, repairs above and beyond our expectation. We were impressed with the attention to detail in the foyer where there were four doors, one set of closet doors, trim and crown molding to do in a different color from the walls. A three-man crew returned on day two to finish the job. They also did a very good job on clean-up. Mark checked in on the job both days and reviewed the estimate with us before payment.

They were fabulous. I honestly don't think that I can say enough good things about them. In the five years that I've owned my home I've had three painting companies (Fresh Touch Custom Painting being the third) perform services in my house. I havea myraid of horror stories which I shared with Mark when he came to give me the estimate. Mark assured me that his team would be punctual, professional, clean, efficient and quick. They were all of this and more. I will definitely use them again. By the time summer is over I would like to have my entire house repainted and I will only use Fresh Touch Custom Painting. Thank you for such a wonderful job, my house looks beautiful.

Our experience with Freshtouch Painting was satisfactory overall. Mark and John met our expectations.

Mark and John were prompt, courteous and professional. The work began on time and attention to detail was given thoughout the day. Both Mark and John checked in with me before and after and made sure all my questions/concerns were addressed.

It was a pleasure to work with Mark and his crew. Mark himself returned my call right away, came out to meet with me, walk around the house, and discuss my concerns about the work that needed to be done. The estimate arrived by email within a short time. I had called for an estimate pretty late in the season, but Mark was still able to get me on the schedule and kept me informed about the planned start date. The work was high quality. The paint color matches the original color. The crew was friendly. The work was started and completed within 2-3 days. Mark was easy to reach by phone/email. My house looks like new. I will definitely consider working with the company again in the future.

The painting job turned out excellent. Mark's crew was very respectful of my property and very careful about the cleanup. They paid great attention to detail and were perfectionists. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We were extremely pleased with the finished paint job. Mark is a pleasure to work with and his crew was pleasant to have in our home. They started the project on time, worked hard (and on time) each day and cleaned up at the end of each day so that we could use our bedrooms - even being considerate enough to move dressers around so that we could get dresser drawers open. Generally, I won't let my husband do the edging when we paint because I am so picky. So, I was hesitant to hire anyone to do indoor painting - but these guys did an excellent job with wall prep and painting. We've used the company for outdoor work in the past and been equally impressed. To be fair, the cost above was after a 20% winter, returning customer discount. But, I would have felt I had gotten my money's worth even without the discount.

Arrived daily on time despite being in the midst of winter/ ice storm. Worked around us with the kids home on a day with no school due to the weather. Worked professionally and efficiently. Mark gave us requested advice regarding color and type of paint to use and we are pleased with the results.

They were very responsive, prompt, and professional. They cleaned up the mess each night on a three-day job. I plan to use them again.

I was very pleased with the cost and end result. I truly expected this job to cost me 50% more than it did. When you factor quality and cost, I would highly recommend Mark's services and plan to use him in the future. The best part was, I asked Mark to match the paint color in one section of the house to the color of my siding. Mark had an app on his iPhone that, by taking a picture of my siding, would analyze the color and found a perfect match to a Sherwin Williams paint, now that's a good use for an iPhone app. Overall, very good and I highly recommend.

My experience with Fresh Touch Custom Painting was excellent. When I called for an estimate, Mark got back to me right away and scheduled a time that was convenient for me. He quoted the work at a very reasonable price, and was flexible in scheduling the work around our schedule. Our job lasted a little over 2 days, although it looked great to us after the second day. I think the fact that the painters wanted to come back for a couple of hours on the third day to apply another coat to the hallways speaks volumes about Custom Touch's attention to detail and quality. The crew arrived on time each day and were courteous and professional. At the end of each day, they cleaned up everything and aside from the new colors on the walls, we barely knew they had been there. They were also very considerate of the fact that I was working from home on one of the days they were there. Overall, we had a great experience with Fresh Touch Custom Painting, and we'll certainly be using them to do our much needed exterior painting sometime soon.
