Overall I received 3 valid bids for this work. I was impressed by Mark Tabor, and the comments I read on his company's work here on Angie's List. Mark stopped by and evaluated the work, and emailed me a statement of work and contract the next day. After discussing it with Mark, we revised the statement slightly and tentatively set the work for the first week of May. Mark remained in contact with me during the 3 weeks before the work was done. On the scheduled day, his painter arrived promptly, we checked paint samples, and agreed on a color. He returned with the paint and proceeded to hand paint and roll the aluminum panels, rails and posts for the porch. He did the same for the screen door on the porch, the two other storm doors, and the glass and screen inserts for the doors. He applied two coats that day. He was very polite and cooperative and did an excellent job. The porch had been installed about 28 years ago, and now it looks as good as new! My neighbor also scheduled work with Mark, having the trim on his brick house painted.

Overall, we are more than pleased with the finished project. The house looks amazing! Our siding hadn't been painted in decades and we thought we would have to replace it - so it was great to know that a new paint job could make such a difference. We chose Fresh Touch Custom Painting after getting a total of five quotes. All of our quotes came from A rated Angie's List companies and the prices ranged from $4800.00 on down. We went with our lowest quote which was Fresh Touch. Mark came out to give us the quote in March. He was very friendly, down to earth and professional. We decided to go with him and were put on the waiting list. Once the weather warmed up, we had a free color consultation to decide the colors and the painting began about a week or so later. The painters started on Thursday with a full crew. Friday one painter was here doing some trim painting and Saturday about six painters came to finish up the job. Monday 5/21 the touch ups were completed. The crew was very friendly and hard working. Aside from a little paint spray on a potted plant everything went great. We weren't going to have the garage door painted since we are having it replaced, but Mark said he wanted everything looking perfect so he threw that in as a bonus!! Next time we have a painting project we are calling Fresh Touch Custom Painting right off the bat.

The service provided was impressive at every level. Mark's estimate was very reasonable, and Brian and the rest of the crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work in a timely and professional fashion. The paint colors matched exactly what I had chosen with another brand of paint. Brian was very easy to work with and made sure I was happy with every aspect of the work. He supervised the other painters extremely well and with courtesy. I would definitely use this company again.

Most of the prep for this work had been done on a previous job. Brian did an excellent job again and was a pleasure to work with.

The painters showed up precisely on the date and time promised and were extremely professional and n eat. They took great care to protect all of the landscape plantings and flowers and thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Even to the extent of vacuming the deck and porch following sanding and scraping of old painted surfaces. The owner, Mark Tabor, showed up every day to inspect the work in progress and performed a thorough walk through upon completion, even doing additional touch up that I hadn't even asked for. A great experience!

Once I contacted them, FTC was very responsive. Mark (owner) came to my home to discuss the work. He was very professional and organized. We agreed that they would paint three interior rooms and the (outside) wooden window casings around the house. I wrote the wrong time down on my calendar. This could have caused a major conflict with some contractors. Mark graciously accepted my apology for disrupting their schedule and immediately rescheduled my job. In a nutshell, the work was done quickly and efficiently. The crew was polite, professional and left no trace of mess. I am very pleased and would recommend FTC Painting to anyone.

This is the second time I have used them. First was for interior of our church, report already submitted. After painting church they did such a good job hired them for my home.The crew sent was very professional. They were here two days and at the end of each day cleaned up after themselves both times. They moved all furniture and painted master bedroom and hallways. I would definitly hire them again.

We live in a home that was built in 1911. The trim was in very bad condition. My husband is an Architect and we are very particular about our home. I have done a lot of paint removal on our home. I hate painting over layers and layers of paint. I never thought we could get someone to paint the wood trim on our brick home to our satisfaction. They did a wonderful job with the prep work and sanding and caulking prior to painting. There were several windows that I had removed the paint from the trim with the heat gun prior to them doing their work. The communication with Mark was that they would sand the trim prior to painting. At the end of the day I went out to check the days work and found that the sanding was not done. They had painted over the uneven surface. I called Mark right away and he came out to speak to me in the morning. He immediately had the crew fix the problem. They spent the whole day sanding and re-painting the window trim. They never gave me any negative attitude and took an huge amount of pride in their work. It was simply a misunderstanding. Just make sure that when you meet with Mark that the two of you are on the same page and make sure you communicate your goals with whoever is the job captain. They also painted our whole garage and did a fabulous job trimming everything out. They painted window trim and storms. They glazed the windows and did a smooth job. Mark does not have you pay until he walks through the job with you and your satisfied. They are the paint company that I will call for all of my needs! Don't hesitate to call them.

Overall the paint job was great. I will definitely use these guys again in the future.

Mark's company came over promptly at the scheduled time and did a great job of painting two bathrooms. I was very pleased with the outcome and would definitely hire his company again.

Mark Tabor's crew arrived on time...Mark introduced them to me...went over the work to be done and the crew got started! The worked quickly...were kind and professional...very good work. I am extremely pleased! Mark finished up with a phone call to check on things and followed up with an email to make sure we were satisfied. I am extremely satisfied and would use this company again...and recommend them to my friends.

They came in with the recommended primer and all the supplies they needed. Moved the furniture around themselves. Used drop cloths to cover the carpet and baseboard. The men were thoughtful and considerate, plus they worked efficiently and quickly. The job was completed more quickly than I expected. I liked that Mark the owner stopped by at the beginning to check on things. The room is lovely and expertly painted. I would hire them again.

came out as schedule for proposal and once accepted we set up time for painting and completed as scheduled. Excellent job. They worked unsupervised for two days as promised and cleaned up after themselves. They did such a good job, will use them again for personal job. Would highly recommend them

After the work was completed we noticed a piece missing from the trim was missing. We talked with Mark and he was out the next morning and corrected the issue to our satifaction. Throughout the entire process Mark was perfect to work with. He takes time to talk to you and provide the service you should get. He is also willing to talk to you about other services you might need and provide names of people he was worked with as references. Overall, he is the best contractor I have worked with to date.

Mark showed up for scheduled appointment to review needs and provide a quote. He submitted his quote promptly as stated. We reviewed all quotes we received and decided on FTC. They showed up promptly on scheduled date and performed all the painting. Their painters were courteous and professional. Clean up was exceptional. Work was much better than we anticipated.We will definitely call upon FTC for any futre painting needs.

I called to schedule my appointment and told Mark (the owner) that I had barn red walls and wanted to paint them a lighter color. He recommended that I get a tinted primer. Robert arrived right on time and did a magnificent job in one day. The primer did the trick, and he was able to cover the red with that and one coat of color. Robert is very professional, very helpful and nice, and when I have another room painted, I am going to ask that he do the work. Thank you, Fresh Touch - the living room looks great!

Mark and I agreed to the price and his guys showed up on the scheduled day and on time. The team was professional and friendly and promptly got to work. They moved all the furniture away from the wall, cleaned up, fixed all the holes and painted with two coats of paint. They finished and every line and wall looks brand new. Additionally, there were a couple of walls I decided I wanted a different color and the team was happy to oblige my change of mind without attitude. Also we had an issue with the paint color not matching the swatch for one room and Mark brought back out a new gallon the next morning to resolve the issue. Bottom Line: These guys are prompt, professional, friendly, and their work is amazing. It is a fair deal and you owe it to yourself to give Mark a call.

It took less time than I expected. The painter arrived on time and did a professional job. Our family rooms looks beautiful now.

I purchased an Angie's List Coupon from FTC Painting to paint one room. Mark Tabor arrived a day before the work was scheduled to be performed and gave an estimate because I asked him to do additional work to paint the baseboards and the door, and repair wall cracks. Brian arrived on time the next morning to prepare the walls and paint. The job was finished in about a day and a half and my kitchen looks great. Brian was professional, courteous, and quick. He cleaned up as he worked, and the intrusion on our lives was minimal. I thought the price was excellent, and I will call them for an estimate when I need to paint my basement and the outside of my house. I would definitely recommend this company.

Fresh Touch was fantastic to work with and with the 2 Angie's List deals we bought we were able to get our interior painting needs taken care of. John the foreman came with 2 other painters and thethree of them were professional, friendly and did a great job! Who could ask for more! Mark the owner stayed in touch throughout the process. We would recommend Fresh Touch Painting without hesitation and in fact plan to call them later this year for more painting.

They came at the time that they stated and did the work promptly. I ended up needing more paint that they bought at Sherwin Williams and I reimbursed them. the basement was approximately 600 square feet. They took less than a day to complete the work. The service was friendly and I got some additional estimating done. I was happy wit the painting that they did. When I set up the appointment they gave me a realistic expectation as to when they would be able to perform the work and there werent any suprises.

When Mark arrived for the estimate, immediately I felt a sense of professionalism and experience. He asked detailed questions on what we would like to have done, and was responsive with a thorough quote on all areas we mentioned. He was very up front about the timeline of completion of each segment of our job. SO there were no surprises. He called me ahead of time to let me know the crew was arriving. When the exterior painting crew arrived they were very friendly, especially with my hyper chocolate lab, and they were amenable to the fact that I needed to move in and out of my driveway to take my children to school. They worked together well, and supported each other, as we have some steep roof areas. They cleaned up before leaving and made sure I knew their whereabouts if they left. The foreman was great. They found a problem area in our wood trim and suggested we get that fixed before finishing that specific painting section. I was able to use another contractor to do the work, as they didn't want to "band aid" the problem by painting over it. I appreciated that! Mark Tabor also let me know that Angie's List was going to come out and shoot some photos since they received the Angie's Award again this year! I was impressed and excited and my kids thought we were going to be "famous". Mark and his team did a great job with our exterior trim and I am happy with the work. I love our front door especially. Great color. They came back in December to paint stairway down to basement and a few basement walls. I added a small portion on to the job and they were flexible in dealing with this. The walls look great and their worker was courteous and clean. No issues at all. Fresh Touch Custom Painting will cater to your needs. They go for quality and professionalism. They are friendly, clean cut, and easy to work with. They make you feel like your house is special to them. When you add this up this leads to excellant service. This also leads to a higher price, but I think overall it's worth it since there are no headaches or stressors. You know exactly what you're going to get. YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

I began with a visit to my house by a Sherwin Williams color consultant to pick out my colors for the house body, house trim, and the porch floor. I had already narrowed my house body choices to three basic concepts so this task was fun rather than laborious and drawn out. The only matter was picking which of the three ways to go and then choosing the precise color, for which the color consultant was very helpful with narrowing selections and noting the color elements of each possible choice. It was about an hour total. I got my house painted in the fall when there was a good deal of rain. So Mark was good about calling me every few days to keep me updated as their start schedule slipped, what days they would be there, when they would miss a day after starting, etc. Once they started, I think it took less than two weeks from power wash to finish. The painters were very thorough about covering up windows when they painted the trim and then covering up windows and trim when they painted the body. I was even amused to see that where wires come right up alongside the house, they painted the wires the trim color when it was in front of trim as you look at it, and then they switched to the body color when the wires were in front of the house body as you look at it! Fresh Touch gave me my best price quote of four A-rated companies. So painting's still ouch-expensive, I think, but I give them an A on price because they were my best quote.
