I did not have as good an experience as other reviewers. First, the good: The price was competitive with other estimates we received. Mark was very good with communication and kept me updated on the start date since it kept changing because of the rainy weather. The free color consultation with Sherwin Williams was great and I am very pleased with the colors they helped me choose. The crew cleaned up at the end of the day so well I couldn't tell they had been out. The repair job to my siding was so done so well that I can't even tell where the hole was anymore. The not-so-good: Let me preface this by pointing out that Mark has a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy and he will send his crew out to fix what you are not happy with. The problem is when I had the crew out to fix problems the first time, they caused even more problems, and I don't trust them to come back and fix it! I will be having the contractor I hired to do my interior painting this fall fix the problems instead. Lack of attention to detail sums up the problems I have with the paint job. It seems every time I look at the siding around my exterior doors, I find new splotches of paint on it. Paint was splotched on the brand new weather stripping of both doors. The crew actually forgot to paint the back door frame and I had to point that out to them when I did a quick walk through with them at the end of the job. They finished up the door frame in 15 minutes, failing to caulk and fill in the 16 nail holes (this was a brand new door and door frame) and paint the wood at the bottom of the door threshold. There was paint on the brand new door hardware and on the windows of the doors. When I made these complaints to Mark, he did not hesitate to have his crew come out to fix things. I just wish they hadn't left more damage in their wake! They did remove the paint from the door hardware and the windows and cleaned the weather stripping off, but in the process of putting another coat of paint on the back door, they managed to get more paint on that weather stripping and did not clean it off. They painted the wood under the back door threshold and caulked the trim around the back door and painted it, but they did not fill in the nail holes. Mark says he did not see the nail holes when he was out looking around, but I'm not sure how you can fail to see 16 nail holes. He said that perhaps there was some shrinkage, but I can't imagine there would be that much shrinkage in all 16 holes. Mark also instructed them to apply more wood filler and repaint the front door frame, which they did, but in the process got paint on the doorbell and the house numbers (which they took off the first time they painted the frame but apparently did not take them off this time). An additional note: the crew leader who was fixing the problems spent the entire time he was working on the back door trim talking on the phone through his headset. Since I had them out late June, I have found more problems. The paint on the window frame of the back door is chipping off already. I asked Sherwin Williams what to do about this, and they said that I needed to use a special primer to help the paint stick. Obviously no primer was used. I had new exterior lights installed last week and the electrician discovered that the wood surrounding one of the lights was rotted; when he pointed it out to me, it was very evident it was rotted, and I am amazed that the painters actually painted it without replacing it. Finally, and I realize this is a small thing but it just puts the icing on the cake, I just went out to take the street numbers off the front door trim so I could spray paint them, and I discovered that when they put the numbers back on, they stripped the screws so badly that I can't get them off! We are doing a lot of home improvement projects this year and I have had experiences with many different contractors this summer. Everything except for the painting has been top-notch and the contractors will get excellent ratings from me on Angie's List, so it's not that I'm so picky that nothing pleases me. I would have gladly paid more just to have the paint job done well. I am having the entire interior of my home painted this fall and have already chosen a different contractor because of the lack of attention to detail paid to the exterior of the house by this company.

They were a little slow to get started, but in the end the work was done well.

Mark Tabor's crew came and power washed the house first in mid Sept. 2012. Because they use Sherwin Williams paint (interior and exterior) I had the free benefit of having SW's color coordinator come out and help with the color decisions both inside and out. When I changed my mind or needed entra work done after other contractors, Mark was always accomodating. His responses were always timely, as were his estimates and invoices. His painters were always on time, vigilant and meticulous and cleaned up every day when they were finished. I will definitely use them again when we are preparing our current house for sale.

I purchased a Big Deal from Angie's List to have my house power washed by Fresh Touch Custom Painting. Mark was very good about communicating with me. Due to a long stretch of rainy and stormy weather, it was several weeks before my house could be cleaned. (This was why I gave a B rating for punctuality, though this was not due to the company, just the bad weather.) I was very pleased with the results of the power washing. In fact, I was so impressed with Mark, I also asked for an estimate to do some interior painting. His company will be doing this job for me in the near future.

The crew did a wonderful job. The house and deck look great. They communicated with us leading up to the work and while they were onsite. A rainy summer kept delaying them, but you can't paint a house in the rain and they did a great job keep us informed as to the schedule. While a contractor can't control the weather, they can control how they deal with it and Fresh Touch dealt with it like pros. Additionally, they communicate readily by phone or email which is very helpful. Will not hesitate to contact these guys again when the need arises.

Mark communicated with me every step of the way. We had some delays due to rain (you can't stain the deck when it's going to rain!) and he kept me informed every step of the way. They did exactly what I wanted them to do. I was not sure about what color to use for the deck and Mark and the crew made their recommendation and it turned out great. The work is astoundingly beautiful. The quality and care that goes into what they do is outstanding. I can't believe how great my house looks!

I signed up for the big deal offered by Fresh Touch to power wash up to 2500 sq. ft for $195. They were booked for 2 weeks so I set a date 2 weeks out. There was a mix up with another client so they did not show up until the next day. Fresh Touch took full responsibility and did good work so I would use them again

It took a lot of communication and a couple of false starts due to bad weather and some other contractors whose things got in the way, but the job eventually got done (we weren't in a hurry, anyway). They were always courteous about any delays, and they made sure to let me know that there might be some streaking because the house hadn't been washed in a while; I can't see any streaks, but it was nice of them to level-set my expectations.

They painted the inside of my greenhouse. They painted the trim, shutters, and balcony of my stone house as well.

We were very pleased with Fresh Touch Custom Painting. Mark Tabor promptly contacted us after we requested an estimate. He was very thorough. He was the only person that we contacted to quote and recommend a special paint (SW Lox-On XP) for stucco/concrete. Fresh Touch applied 2 coats of paint to all surfaces. The crew was really good and very neat in their approach to all aspects of painting our home. They finished the job in about 3 days. Mark Tabor stopped by a few days later and we walked around the entire house. Mark wanted to make sure that we were happy with the end result. I will say that his paint recommendation for our stucco home was spot on. There are many stucco homes in our neighborhood that have been recently painted, but none of them look as good as ours. You can really tell the difference and it is great to work with a company that will NOT cut corners. I will definitely use Fresh Touch Custom Painting again!

I bought the Big Deal from Fresh Touch via Angie's List, based on the price and the reviews I had seen. I talked to Mark Tabor two days after we made the purchase and we agreed to a date. Because the weather in Columbus has been about as reliable as a meth addict, he asked for a three day window in which to provide the service. Since it was no emergency, we agreed. On the third day of the window, his team arrived and did a spectacular job. One side of our two-story house was covered in green slime from a nasty holly bush, as was the wooden stockade fence perpendicular to that wall. When I got home from work Friday, it was spotless! They had done a darn near perfect job. Nothing was damaged, they cleaned up after themselves, and I would work with them again in a heartbeat.

It worked out okay. There were few areas where I didn't think they are quite as good. There were few spots that didn't were done as I would have liked. He did more work. I asked him to do some additional work. I had him do my deck and he end up not charging me for doing the deck. He also had problems while he was here, his equipment broke down he had to run out and get some more pieces for his equipment and fix it which he did and he finishes up same day but took all day to get it done. The price was excellent. I would use him again.

They were very professional, neat, and courteous. They worked me into his schedule because it was not a huge job. I really appreciated him being flexible with his schedule and he even did some extra work while they were here which I was glad to pay for. They were also able to do the small sheet rock work for me where as other companies were not willing to.

Fresh Touch was very punctual and did a great job. They did everything they said they would do and did not want paid until the job was finished to my satisfaction.

Painters were very focused on the job and did and excellent job protecting windows and doors from spray. Fresh Touch applied two coats of paint to all surfaces and completed the job in 3-4 days. Mark Tabor stopped several times to check on progress and insure we were pleased with the job. Final cost was just as quoted by Mark Tabor. We are very pleased with the new look of our house.

The job was performed well, except the powerwasher failed to move any paito furniture (with cushions) that got wet. It really wasn't a big concern, but I felt it was a bit careless. The job was excellent in every other way.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They're very easy to work with. They showed up, did the work and it was great.

We were very pleased with the whole experience. Mark came out and gave us an estimate promptly and the approximate start date. The painter, Brian, was very professional and confirmed the color choices with us before beginning the project. We were impressed with every aspect of the job. We would definitely use this company again!

We were extremely pleased with Fresh Touch. We originally requested estimates for the interior and exterior of our house. Mark came out promptly and we were really happy with his professionalism and willingness to work with us in itemizing the quotes. They had the best price from the 4 companies that I got estimates from, but even if the pricing were the same, I still would have gone with Fresh Touch. The crew, headed by Sebastian, were punctual, polite and neat. They truly want to make sure that you are happy with the results. The house looks great and we have already arranged for them to paint our interior spaces. We definitely recommend Fresh Touch to anyone looking for painting services.

They did a great job. Shortly there after, I don't remember exactly but I know I called to schedule it within day or two in May or April to check me in within the next week or so.

Mark, the owner of the company responded promptly to my calls and emails .I found him to be very professional and easy to work with. Called to check and see if power wash job was done to my satisfaction. Not only was it, it was above what I expected, the gentleman who did the job was most accomodating. He moved my plants and cushions from porch and replaced them with care. No damaage to my landscape. Jeff who did the painting was also very accomodating. He spent time trying to find the exact match for my front door frame with great difficulty. He made it work with the old stain I had. My shutters look great as well as the door frame. Mark has a policy to check each job done before payment is due. I would highly recomend this company. Josie
