They put a brace on the door then told my wife that we needed to replace the door. They didn't tell us that before he did the work. He showed up on time to do the work. They cleaned up everything when they were done.

The experience was very good. They showed up on time and they were very thorough. They found out exactly what was wrong, and they gave me advice for future maintenance. They did what they were supposed to do and they did it well.

They were here when they said they'd be here, which was good. He was pleasant and he went right to work and did his work. When I called, I talked to somebody right away and got it scheduled. They were quicker than I thought they would be.

We had an open house for the 2008 Home Remodelers Show on Friday evening, May 16. My husband came home from work at approximately 3:30PM only to find the garage door buckled and hanging crooked in its frame. It was obvious the cable was broken. The outward appearance of the door was awful and we were expecting 100 guests to start arriving at 6:00PM. My husband called Graf and Sons (we have used them in the past and been highly satisfied) and spoke with a woman in the office. She said the repairmen were finished for the day but she would try to catch one of them. She radioed one of the employees who agreed to come to our home. By 4:15PM the cable was repaired and the door functioned beautifully. The repairman was courteous and efficient. Not only is a non-functioning garage door opener an inconvenience in this case it was truly an eye-sore! They saved the evening for us!

They came out within several hours of my phone call which was wonderful since my car was stuck in the garage. Explained what needed to be done, used larger springs than were used originally but these should last longer. Work completed within an hour.

It took five hours plus, it was a complete installation. I had nothing to do with it and as far as I know, it went exceptionally well. They got in here and they went to work and got the job done.

They were by far the best price. They had a door in stock, so they were able to do the work 2 days after quoting. They were prompt in performing the service, quick in installation, and understanding of the fact that this door was for a detached old garage, so they did not try to up sell (which we really appreciate. They even installed a manual opener, if the power even went out.

A service tech. was at our house within 24 hours of our call. He was very, very friendly and professional. I felt good about having him in my home. He didn't have the spring size he needed with him; he left to get them and returned within the hour. He was pleasant and our door works better than ever. The estimate that I was given over the phone was right on.

I was impressed with how quickly they were able to get out to us to repair the door, they came the following morning after I called, less than 24 hours later. Our door kept popping off its track, so our service tech replaced a faulty roller and then gave the door a general service, lubed various parts and got it working smoothly again. He also noticed our weatherstripping was loose so he resecured that for us as well. The door is working really well again now, it's as quiet as it was when we first got the house 5 years ago. We hadn't realized how noisy it had become over the years. Also, they honored the Angie's List coupon I printed out.

It went great! The office staff was very helpful and responsive in scheduling the service. Even though I couldn't utilize their first preference of appointment; the office staff went the extra mile in locating a service tech who happened to be available and about 15 mins. away. From the time I first called them till he was at my door was probably less than 30 mins. He had the appropriate parts with him and finished the job quickly. I had them do both springs even though only one was broken because if one breaks, the other one is probably close to breaking as well. It's much cheaper to have it done in one call instead of two.

We visited the Graf showroom and were able to view all the door styles and types. Walt, our salesperson, was efficient and helpful. The price was extremely fair and the door and opener were installed in a very timely manner. Walt, our salesperson, was outstanding-he went over and above the call of duty to make sure we were extremely pleased. You must deal with Walt!! He made everything effortless.

Courteous and immediate response when I called and I was given an appointment the very next day. Courteous tech showed up on time, performed work within one hour and provided helpful information about operating and maintaining my doors and equipment.

Great, came out next day after I called, replaced the springs on my old wooden garage door. They had to come out again a few days later to adjust them, but it has worked fine since then. Would seriously consider them again when my door and opener need replaced. Also took the $20 Angie's List coupon.

I am very pleased overall with this company. They were on time for the estimate and sent me a written copy of it right away. Everyone I worked with (estimator, appointment scheduler and the 2 guys who installed the doors) were very polite and professional. And the garage doors look and work great.

I went with Graf & Sons because the price was excellent and they made it very easy for me. On a Friday, I visited the showroom in Hilliard and talked with Walt Saulsbury. Walt explained my options & answered my questions about emergency access. He came out the next Monday (I was at work) to measure the door and provide an estimate. He called with the estimate ($655) and then I received it in writing a few days later. I got one other estimate (from another company) which was over $900 for the same door and opener. A hardware store gave me about 15 pages of print-outs on doors and openers which I couldn't decipher. I sent Graf & Sons a deposit check. I was told it would take 2 to 3 weeks for my door to arrive (special order because it is wider than normal), but I got the call about 1.5 weeks later. The best thing was that I didn't have to be home for the installation. Wayne arrived at 7:45 to install the door. I went to work and when I came home, I had a working garage door. Perfect.

The repair was done quickly, and for the exact price quoted over the phone.

They were quick to respond, and I appreciated his friendly manor, and all the time he took to explain the opener to me. I also appreciated the advice he gave on how to maintain my garage door.

The crew showed up when scheduled and were done is just a couple of hours. They were courteous and considerate of the other workers there at the time. The finished quickly and left the place as clean as they had found it. Will definitely hire them again for future needs of this sort.
