I phoned Potter Door this morning and was told someone would be at my house this afternoon between 12:00 and 2:00. Jim arrived at about 12:30. He inspected the doors and identified the problem as worn-out cable wheels (I forget the word that he used to identify this part). He replaced 8 of the wheels, adjusted the stop on one of the doors, and lubricated the entire assembly on both doors. Jim explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing it. He showed me the defective parts and compared them to them to the new parts he would install. He knew more things than I thought possible about garage doors! Both doors now open and close smoothly. I appreciated Jim's thoroughness and his prompt reply to my call.

We needed a repair to our overhead door. We called at 8:00 and they were at our house by 2:15 that afternoon. The technician examined the opener and after trying several conditions he determined that the Circuit Board was the problem. The repair of the board was half the cost of a new opener and since it was 10 years old we decided to repace it. The technician called the office to have a new opener delivered and at one point we had the whole company at our house. The new opener was installed and everything was examined, lubricated, replaced and cleaned up by 3:45. All of the employees were courteous and professional.

KELLI SEEMED VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND DIDN'T TRY TO SELL ME ON ANYTHING I DIDN'T NEED. THEY WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK WITHOUT ME BEING HOME AND WITHIN ABOUT A WEEK OF CALLING.

Potter Overhead Door came back out and made some adjustments after the installation of the garage door. The door has been working ever since they came back out. They cleaned up after themselves. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

They have a nice showroom, and the staff there is very good at explaining what to choose, which is very helpful. When they came to do the installation, the fellow was very good and took some time after the installation to tell me what to watch for and what I can do to maintain the door.

This went very well, and would recommend them. The only reason the price was higher than the phone estimate is b/c they didn't know that the doors needed to be realigned.

Our garage door broke. Potter came to fix it. After finding out how much it was to fix it, and that the mfg wasn't the best we decided to replace the door. Before giving the ok I researched the existing door and did verify the mfg had a shoddy reputation. It was by no means a hard sell tactic by Potter to get me to buy a new door. The repairman was very knowledgeable. I was told the door I ordered would arrive in 3 weeks and the office person suggested I made the installation appointment ahead of time, and she was right! The door came a few days short of 3 weeks. The installers were on time, they cleaned everything up and took the old door away.

He told me the door is not worth repairing and I should buy a new door. He also gave me suggestions about the type of door I should purchase. He invited me to come out to their showroom.

They were very responsive, informative and thorough. The were able to meet my scheduling needs (to do the work the following Saturday) and the repairman explained what needed to be done, was friendly and very efficient. The work was competitively priced. Super job. Great customer service. I was very pleased.

Our spring broke @ 9pm. I left a message w/the answering service requesting a call first thing in the morning & as early as possible service call, they called me at 8am & had someone at my home by 9:45am. They were prompt, courteous, very accommodating considering when I called. I highly recommend this company & would call them again when I have a need but I hope I don't need them for awhile!

The representative that answered the phone was pushy. I called for an estimate & received one. Only one. It was for a high-end model. I was given the manufacturer's website to view the door & made arrangements for a rep to visit our home to determine if the door was repairable or needed replacement. It was determined that the door needed replacement & we were left with literature for a replacement door- the same door that was recommended over the phone. Apparently, they sell one model of garage door. We were not impressed by either representative (they were both pushy). We took our business elsewhere.

CALLED COMPANY SPOKE WITH KELLY. EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT HER BUSINESS! MADE APPOINTMENT FOR REPAIRS OR POSSIBLE REPLACEMENT OF GARAGE DOOR LIFT. JACK ARRIVED ON TIME. I EXPLAINED THE TROUBLES WITH THE DOOR AND LIFT. WITHIN MINUTES HE HAD LOCATED THE PROBLEMS. THE NECESSARY PARTS FOR THE REPAIRS WERE IN THE SERVICE TRUCK. IN LESS THAN AN HOUR I HAD A VERY OLD SEARS DOOR OPENER WORKING AS IF IT WERE NEW! (I WAS ACTUALLY EXPECTING BAD NEWS AND READY TO HEAR THE LIFT HAD TO BE REPLACED!) JACK GETS A AAAA RATING FOR HIS JOB. WORKING INTO HIGH NOON ON ONE OF THE MANY WELL OVER 90 DEGREE DAYS WE HAVE HAD THIS JULY. GREAT SERVICE!

THE COMPANY IS VERY EFFICIENT. THEY WERE ON TIME FOR THE APPOINTMENT AND FINISHED THE PROJECT WITHIN THE ESTIMATED TIME. THEY CLEANED UP A BIG MESS WHICH REQUIRED NO FOLLOW UP CLEANING. THEY ARE VERY PERSONNEL.

THE SERVICEMAN ARRIVED 15 MINUTES EARLY AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. HE EXPLAINED WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE AND WHY IT NEEDED DOING. HE ALSO TOLD ME THE CHARGES IN ADVANCE.
