Description of Work: During the February 2007 cold snap, a water pipe burst in my garage & water leaked in the garage & crawl space. I noticed the burst pipe around 9:30 pm & called Bob Vecchio almost immediately. He first talked me through the issue on the phone & helped solve the immediate emergency. Then, to ease my wife's & my mind, he sent one of his employees (Robert Armstrong) to my house. Mr. Armstrong arrived at 10:30 pm & inspected the burst pipe. He didn't leave until he made sure, and assured us, that the immediate danger had passed.

Description of Work: From the time I called to ask for an estimate on my small electrical job to the time I actually got a call back was almost a whole week. I called on Monday, they sent their guy out on Wednesday, and I finally got an answer Thursday evening. I interviewed three companies to do the work, the House Doctors took the longest to get back to me. Most gave me an immediate answer. I can only imagine how long it would have taken them to do the actual work.

Called and spoke to owner who assured us this wasn't how they do business and would find out what happened and reschedule. After 2 days of not hearing anything we left a message asking for an update. Description of Work: We called this company because we read great reviews on Angie's List, & we were very disappointed. Mike took several days to call us back (over a week) & then set up several vague "If I have time" times to come give us an estimate. When he finally did come, he was curt & not very friendly. He said he would get back to us in a few days with an estimate, which actually took a month. When he finally called, his estimate was almost double what another company quoted & he refused to put anything in writing until we decided to go with him, claiming too much work.
