Great! It was a difficult and messy they had to do. They did an excellent job and cleaned up very well.

I call Bob Vecchio's House Doctor business all the time. I am always impressed by the friendliness, punctuality, and neatness of all his workers. I feel secure in that he will give me sound advice and the best price for the job.

Bob was extremely pushy, erratic, and unprofessional. I called one day to try to diagnose a problem with the gutters. I said I would make sure the water was on at the house and then call to schedule an appointment to have them cleaned. He called the next morning and said, "My guys are in the area, they can be there in half an hour." I said I wasn't ready, give me more time. He said, after a bit of back-and-forth, in a very exasperated and impatient tone of voice, "You know, why don't you find someone else to do this. I'm trying to help you out here, my guys are in area, etc." As if I, the customer, was expected to work around his schedule and was being entirely unreasonable for requesting that I call him when I was ready. Unbelievable. In general, he was very pushy. I would never trust someone like this to work on my house.

The gutters were cleaned in a timely and professional manner. The workers had an opening in their schedule and were able to perform the work even earlier than originally promised. We very much appreciated their prompt response. I would certainly consider The House Doctors to perform additional work in the future.

Very disappointing first experience. Over the phone, I told Bob Vecchio (owner) that I had a variety of projects I needed handled. When I wasn't available that afternoon for him to come visit my house (he was in the area), he told me that his son would call me back to schedule a time that was convenient. I'm still waiting for that call back. It left the impression that if it wasn't convenient for them, then they wouldn't bother following up.

Bob Vecchio returned my phone call promptly and was very polite. I was leaving the country in a few days and needed the job to be expedited. He made sure his guys showed up before I left (only 2 days or so after I called) to start the job. They were very professional, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. The job cost exactly what I was quoted. Though it was a bit more expensive than other quotations, I was more than willing to pay for the rapid turnaround. I will use the House Doctors again.

The House Doctors did a terrific job on the electrical work for our house. The work was done promptly, professionally and the cost was very competitive. We were most impressed by the creative solutions they suggested for our needs. They were very willing to make changes to their original proposal as our plans changed. Very easy to work with and we woill certainly use them again.

Excellent response and a written detailed quote for the work. I will use them when I am ready with the money. They have not yet started the work.

They did a good job and they were very prompt. They came out the next day after I called them. I would definitely recommend them.

Very good experience overall. They did good quality work and were responsive. Mike G. did the work and was very easy to work with. Bob took care of everything, accommodating us on the specific fixtures and tile we wanted that had to be special ordered and installed. It took a little longer than expected but we didn't mind because they were so responsive to our needs. They were also very neat and cleaned up each day. We got updates nightly and they let us know their schedule. We had some minor issues/punch list items that they took care of in a timely fashion. Bob has done good quality work for me in the past (e.g. exterior painting, gutter cleaning), and I'll call him for my future needs.

We called The House Doctors because they have done a lot of work for us in the past. They always aim to please. Bob Vecchio returned my call the same day. It's nice to know that there is a dependable service out there that is willing to come out and do odd repairs, such as a small hole in the wall that others might not want to bother with.

Prompt and professional. I forgot about the appointment and called when I got home to apologize. They came right back out to work on the toilet, which I appreciate!

Working with Mike was a pleasure. I received an estimate and he explained to me everything that would be completed. The roofing was done quickly and the guys were nice enough to take before and after pictures for me. They picked up all the old roofing and left the place very neat. Pat did the work in the bathroom. The door and ceiling look great. He was very thorough. Mike took the time to explain how to use a power washer correctly.

Mr Vecchio actually took my call on a Sunday afternoon and came out for an estimate the next week. We agreed on the price and the work was completed in a week. Very professional, prompt and good to work with. Definitely will hire again for my home maintenance.

Mr Vecchio was very prompt, professional, remembered cleaning my gutters six months ago. No damage to landscaping despite many flower beds. Also fixed my downspouts due to broken clay, very good job. Nice to work with, will hire again.

Arrived promptly, was courteous, neat, professional and efficient. Would highly recommend.

This was a small job but it was important to us to get it done well. The work was performed by one person who appeared to be an accomplished mason. The work was done, as contracted, and in a timely manner. Although I had less expensive quotes, I felt comfortable that this company would perform even a small job well. If I paid a premium for that, it was worth it.

Once again, I received stellar service from Bob and his crew. The work was done in a timely and cost-effective manner. It's always a pleasure to work with Bob.

Actually, so far we are disappointed. We were interested in having multiple projects done, including cleaning and re-staining our large deck, and rebuilding our brick front porch. We decided to call the House Doctors because their listing covered our needs best. We left a message with the original call and he called back that same day. We asked him specifically if he came to Lorain county and he said he would for a big enough project, and agreed to come give us an estimate. That was three weeks ago and even though we did have a lot of rainy weather, he never called to say that was the reason his estimate was delayed. We certainly will not recommend that business to anyone. We are still searching for someone to do the porch project, which we'd like to have done by the end of June. My husband has decided to do the deck himself. Thanks for asking, and I do not enjoy giving negative feedback, however, it seems as though this business does not measure up to your Angie's List standards.

The plumber was very courteous, fast and left no mess. We are very happy with the work. There was a slight scheduling mix up, but did not cause any problems.

I called them again, and he told me he was going to charge me $70 just to come out to look at it. That's ridiculous, when 2 months earlier, he had charged $150 to clean them out. That to me was not right.

They are very responsive and they do a nice job.

Told me they would come over in a week to take a look at the job, but then stated they were unable to perform the work. Lost one week n clearing contingency of home sale.

Mike Vecchio & his help did an excellent job. I was satisfied with their work. Very prompt, quick, courteous, kept me updated as to what was going on; cleaned up and I will use their services again.

Steps were in bad repair. The guys came out within a few weeks of my initial call & had most of the job completed by the time I came home from work. Work site was very clean & neat, & debris was bagged & placed at the curb for collection. The only fault I could find is that my water was left running when it could have been conserved by using a nozzle shutoff.
