Description of Work: Hired to perform maintenance on garage door opener. I made the decision to replace the garage door opener since my current one was nearly 20 years old . Cables were rusty and motor was noisy. Plus the physical garage door was not aligned properly. Technicians were very courteous, knowledgeable, and worked very efficiently.

Description of Work: My garage door would not close. They replaced the safety lenses. After a day, it quit working again. They came back and made an adjustment. Another couple days, and it again stopped working. I called another repair place. They came out and found Sears had spliced the wire incorrectly. They repaired it and it cost me another $78 for the service call.

Description of Work: The guy they sent out was completely unprofessional; trying to give my wife parenting advice, moaning about needing to move stuff out of his way when she clearly told him she would do so, to which he said no not necessary, and overall seemed to have a really bad attitude. If he worked for me, he would be looking for a new job or at the very least need to get some customer service and communications training.

Description of Work: Sears changed the rollers on the garage door and lubricated the rails. They also adjusted where the door stopped since it was going past where it should have. The people were helpful and the door is working as expected with a lot less noise. They did show up a half hour earlier than expected and we were not quite ready for them when they arrived.

Description of Work: During the inspection, they found that I had a broken spring. They were able to replace that. For the special I had ask for the quite rollers, they told me I already had the quite rollers so they were able to substitute the keypad instead.
