Sears Garage Doors

Everything went well. Service technician was timely, professional, answered all my questions, provided thorough instructions on everything work completed and how to use the new garage door opener.

It went really well. They contacted me to schedule the appointment right away. They arrived on time and the work was completed as expected. They told me about some other services they could provide and gave me pricing. There was no high- pressure selling - they were really nice, when I declined they didn't badger. The garage goes up and down now without any noise, it used to squeak really loud. Happy with the service they provided.

Quick and easy; very professional technician

He came and worked on the garage rollers. Once he put down the door, he was unable to get it back up, and it is still not working. I told him that it would take 2 people, but he wouldn't listen.

They did an ok job. They replaced the rollers on my garage door. I didn’t feel like I got nearly the service for what the deal indicated.

They claimed "Cust. the old door was installed improperly. When spring was changed, part of door broke causing improperly mounted side bearing plates to pull out". I watched them working and noticed that they did not align the door properly and the door was not level when they tried to open the door. The one side pulled up and put undo pressure on the lag bolts on the right side of the door, causing them to pull out of the wall. I then had to spend $2290.00 to get a new door. They claimed that the bolts were not properly screwed into the studs, but the door had been ok for over 50 years.

They did good work. They were the cheapest one is why I chose. Didn't experience any issues. Not sure how many guys came out becuase he was not there. Would recommend to friends and family. Were professional over the phone.

he was very prompt and professional. My garage door hadn't been opening and closing properly for a few weeks and I noticed the rollers were missing some pieces due to age and neglect. He was able to replace to rollers and got them working great again in about an hour. We talked about a few other options for work regarding the garage door (it hadn't been serviced in many years) but he was not pushy at all. I would definitely have him back to do more work in the future.

During both visits, the technician was friendly, prompt, courteous and very professional. His work was impeccable and before he left, made sure we knew how to create/change the entry code on the keypad.

I was looking for a keyless entry pad. Their best universal model did not work with our garage door opener system. The service man was very nice and we did try to make it work 4 times, but it was incompatible.

Wanted to sell me a whole new garage door instead of tune it up. He gave me a quote for a new door which was too high for me and said he was unable to give me the tune up the door. I had someone else come out to look at it and told me it was the wires that were messed up. He fixed those and it's worked fine ever since then.

It went just fine. I bought a coupon for one of the two services and they offered to do both services for an extra $70 or so. I only dinged them with a couple "B's" because they didn't explain how to use the entry pad. I had to read the instructions!

They were prompt, professional and pleasant. The other opener was replaced a year earlier -- same experience.

I am OK with the explanation Sears gave to me.

We didn't hear from provider initially according to the information at Angie's List when we purchased the deal. When we made a call to Angie's List regarding the this problem, we were told there was some computer glitch and the provider hadn't been notified of our purchase. Angie's List called the provider who then called us and scheduled an appointment.

After completion they needed to replace bottom seal with wider panel, but never returned.

The Sears garage door serviceman greatly exceeded my expectations. For $99, he tightened and lubricated the chain on my unit and installed a wireless keypad and showed me how to operate it and provided me with an instruction manual. He even took care of an old safety electric eye at no extra charge. I would use them again.

The technicians checked my garage genie, replaced old rollers and explained why the door was making so much noise. They were quick, professional, and very easy to talk to. I would definitely use them again.

The service was okay but not worth the money. He did the job we requested, he was on time, and there were no additional fees.

They did the service I bought but sold me more service that I didn't know if I needed or not. There was just something uncomfortable about one of the two individuals that came out. He actually wanted me to give him my code for the garage door opener for him to enter saying that it would be quicker if I let him enter the number. Of course I declined and it took two minutes - this was uncomfortable and seemed a little strange.

Everything went fairly well and I have no complaints. They were punctual and everything was pretty much as expected.

Ok, was supposed to do maintenance and he said fixing the photoelectric detectors used for safety was not included and then sprayed the rollers with WD40 and left. |this seemed like they were just trying to up-sell rather than provide the service we expected at the great price

They were just very accommodating and their prices are good. They are very friendly and everything went smoothly. The 99$ deal was for a maintenance check up but when they came out, the spring was broken so they put the 99$ towards the new spring which is a total of 450$. They came out pretty quick when they were supposed to do the maintenance and we checked other places price but they were the best price so they came back maybe a week later to change the spring.

They gave me good choices for replacement, and explained the whole process. They were very informative and knowledgable.
