Description of Work: They promised to come between 1-3 on Saturday, 1/17. (btw, I placed the order on Monday and didn't hear from them until Friday.) At 2:45 I called to make sure they'd be here before 3. I was told they would be at my house before 3. I called at 3:15. I was told they'd be here by 3:30. I asked if she was certain and she said yes. At 3:50, the service person called and said he was just leaving the west side and would be at my house in 25 minutes. I told him not to bother. Please understand that I was in the middle of a transaction (buying a phone at the Apple store) at 12:45 that afternoon. I left in the middle of the transaction because I had to be at my house at 1:00 pm. I will not work with them again. Extremely poor communication. I subscribe to Angie's List for the sole purpose that I do not want things like this to happen. A wasted Saturday afternoon.

 + -1 moreTwo men arrived in a van right on time. I was sitting in the back yard with my 2 cats. My cats think my vacuum cleaner is some sort of cat eating monster. So when one of the men opened the side of the van and pulled out a huge blue vacuum hose; the cats bolted for the back door. Once inside they realized the hose was following them and headed for their kitty condo on the second floor. The work went quicker than I thought, so I was sure they couldn't have done a very good job. I was amazed when I walked into the house and saw the results. Not only will I call these guys back... I will recommend them to all of my friends. Actually I felt they did such a great job that I joined this site just so I could let other people know what a good job they do. Anyone in this area needing their carpets cleaned would do well to call Sears Carpet Cleaning.
Description of Work: The van arrived within the time specified and the two men were definitely ready to go to work. My carpet is 7 years old and has withstood 5 cats. It had been spot cleaned but never professionally cleaned. I was going to have the carpet replaced believing it to be ruined, but a friend of mine recommended that I try the Sears Carpet Cleaning service before I invested thousands of dollars in new carpeting. I took her advice and it is the best decision I ever made. They cleaned and deodorized the carpeting and when I saw the results I couldn't believe it. My carpeting looks like new and the whole house smells great. I only have 2 cats now and won't have major problems with them. But I will call these guys twice a year to come out and clean for me. It was a first rate experience in a time when I thought for sure that service was out the window. Great company! Great job!

 + 0 moreThey were fast, friendly, efficient and I will definitely have them back again. Most of the carpet came with the house when I purchased it 11 years ago, and it looks and feels plush and like new. I am very happy with this investment.
Description of Work: The two-man crew cleaned my family room and bedroom carpeting as well as the stairs, landing and hall. They also cleaned a sofa, two chairs and two ottomans.

 + -1 moreThe cleaning crew was very prompt, professional, and courteous and called and arrived exactly when they said they would. They were considerate about watching out for all our pets and cleaned up everything after they were finished. The carpets and furniture look terrific, brand new again, and all the pet stains came out much to our relief.
Description of Work: The crew came out and cleaned a sofa, chair, and all carpets in the house (1500 sq. ft.). They got the black marks off the tan chair with no problem and it looks great. There were small spots from pets on the cream color carpets throughout the house and their spot treating got ALL the spots up! The carpets look brand new again even though they are 1-2 years old. They also put a stain treatment on the carpets to help prevent pet stains in future and prolong the stain resistance of the carpet. They also gave me an estimate on tile cleaning and sealing and it is a great deal so I am having Sears come and clean all the tile in the house as well. We are extremely pleased!

 + -1 moreSears responded right away setting up the appointment for the following day. They arrived on time and did the job quickly and efficiently. They were pleasant and very neat in their work. The carpet was not all that dirty, but looked a lot better after they finished.
