Description of Work: Mardan replaced my entire driveway. The were probably one of the best contractors I have ever used. The quality was superb, they were on time and extremely professional. Neighbors commented on the excellent job.

Description of Work: Dan and the Mardan army of seven workers installed my sidewalk and driveway apron in one day. I saw the work they performed for a nearby neighbor and was so impressed, I did not even attempt other quotes. Conscientious and they take pride in their work .

Description of Work: New concrete driveway. Removed old blacktop driveway. Superb job on finishing the top of the driveway. Looks like artwork! Dan and the crew were awesome! Punctual, professional, friendly, and expert! Same team for the entire job. Offered suggestions to minimize costs and improve the driveway.

Description of Work: Dan provided an original quote of approx. $3000 for replacement of my driveway apron, a dilapidated culvert pipe under the apron and a section of sidewalk next to my house. He communicated well when the job was about to take place, and his team arrived on time as promised. Upon review of the job, we were given a quote of an additional $1,000 to put in an additional portion of the driveway above the area to be demolished and replaced in order to accommodate for a proper slope to the street. Dan apologized for the additional change at the last minute, but he originally underestimated the degree of slope needed for appropriate water runoff. Fortunately, we were prepared for the quote change. The workmanship was excellent, and the new portion of the driveway and apron, with the repaired culvert pipe, looks beautiful and appears functional. We are still waiting for the complete curing of the concrete to be able to drive on it, but everything looks great. We will probably use Dan and Mardan again to complete the remainder of the driveway up to the garage. A very nice job, but a little more costly than expected; however, the quote was fair and reasonable.

Description of Work: We needed an estimate for concrete in crawl space. We would have liked to go with them as my husband has used them in the past but they were booked until August. We wanted job done sooner so we had to go with someone else

Description of Work: I selected Mardan Cement contractors based on their excellent rating on Angies List. Dan gave me a writen estimate on 8-25-2011. He stated that he would complete the driveway within six weeks after I accepted his proposal. I accepted his proposal on 8-31-2011 and mailed it to his business address. He called me on 10-6-11 and asked me if he could start the following morning. On 10-7-11 they arrived with the equipment and removed and hauled away debris from the old driveway On 10-8-11, the base was prepared and forms installed. On Mon. (10-10-11) the cement was poured, hand finished, sealed and forms removed. A worker returned the following Morning and sealed the driveway again. This was a large project requiring 30 yards of concrete. The was well planed and completed with very little damage to lawn. I am pleased with the quality of the work and have recieved many compliments. This company does a professional job !!!
