Joe was very quick, he came out the same day I called him and did the job on the spot!

Joe is a terrific locksmith who really knows his business. I called Joe about 11:30 on a Saturday. He said he had some jobs scheduled but would meet me later that afternoon. Joe arrived on time. I had four locksets on two doors I needed to be rekeyed. He disassembled everything, rekeyed and rebuilt it and made it all work properly. He checked and tested everything thoroughly and had me make sure I was satisfied with his work. I asked to make four keys and he did not charge me anything extra for this! He mentioned he could install Schlage doorknobs at $65 each, but advised me that I really didn?t need them at this point. His prices are very fair, plus he added a 5% discount on top of that! Joe is excellent to work with. He is extremely professional and helpful with suggestions. He has that old school work ethic, and you could tell he really enjoys his work and will make sure everything is done right. It was very stress-free dealing with Joe. He definitely went way above and beyond what you would expect from a typical contractor. I will always call him from now on with all my lock installation and door repair needs. If you chose Joe, you will be happy you did.

Joe was great. He showed up on time and worked quickly. He was able to repair one door knob assembly that I thought he would have to replace, and he fixed another door latch that I thought was shot. When I mentioned to him that the front storm door was sticking on the bottom, he knew just what to do. He readjusted the kick plate and put a couple of self-tapping screws in it and now it works fine. We were very happy with him and his work.

I just spoke with him yesterday and he said he'd be out today or tomorrow to take a look at our door. He came out this afternoon, planed the top of the door and it works perfectly now. We've used Joe before and highly recommend him.

I called to get my locks changed because the key wasn't working properly. Joe was able to give me 5 minutes of advice over the phone and saved me a charge. The locks work great! Thanks for your help. I appreciate his honesty and knowledge about the problem I was having.

It was very easy to make the appointment. He was prompt and courteousness. He was A+ all around!

Joe answered his phone immediately. He was able to come over in two days with the description of what I wanted over the phone. He was on time, friendly, and replaced the interior lock with parts he already had, at no cost! He put in a new deadbolt and peephole. He was neat and clean and did not leave until I was happy. I will definitely use him again in the near future!

He was wonderful and I was very happy. He did a lot. There was only one lock involved, but he didn’t want to split the wood and so he had to really do some research to get the right kind of lock and where we could place it so it would look good on the dresser.

Basically what happened was the house keys and filing cabinet key got locked in the filing cabinet. He pulled the lock for us. We stood there while he opened it to make sure that everything was ok and then he replaced the lock. I've recommened him to others too.

We purchased a new (old) house and were given only one key for the front door, no keys for the back door. After the first day, the only key we had began to bend. I got a copy made at a local store, but it didn't work and they told me I'd most likely just need to change the locks. I called Joe that day (Saturday) and told him the issue. At first, he said he'd be able to come out on Thursday, but after he heard the desperation in my voice, he made accommodations for me to come on Tuesday. He told me if I needed him before then to just call. On the day of the service, he gave us a 2 hour window. In the middle of that window, he called to let us know that he would be there closer to the end of the window and that he would call back if that was going to change. He showed up, did the work, and we paid the bill. He worked fast, was very professional and made it a completely painless experience for us. If I need any lock work done in the future, I will definitely be calling him back!

I am VERY fortunate to have found Joe's Lock and Key, and I will certainly call again in the future if I need anything else. The doors to my new house were very odd and some were even installed incorrectly. He came out and fixed every one of them, and spent much of his own time making sure that everything was perfect before he left. I found Joe on Angie's list. I called at 2:00 and Joe was here before 3:00 PM same day. He was very accommodating as I usually work during the day and had today off. I only expected to make an appointment later in the week. AMAZING service. He explained what was going wrong when I was trying to unlock the door. He gave me options of the different things he could do to correct the situation and gave me the prices of each option which I really appreciated. Joe was very personable and at the same time very professional. I highly recommend Joe's Lock and Key!

I called Joe at 8:30 Saturday and he immediately answered the phone. I explained that I have a house with a door lock from 1950's that I can barely open. He asked me what kind it was and I couldn't explain it, but I told him I would send him a picture. I sent him a picture and he got back to me within 15 minutes. He told me what kind of lock it was and after I explained my situation, it wasn't really the lock at issue rather, it was the door plate causing my issue. Instead of making a worthless trip to my house, he kindly explained that it was something outside of the lock. He didn't charge me for the conversation and trouble shot the issue via email and telephone. This is excellent customer service and when I need new locks or have any lock issues, I will definitely call him in the future to help and will gladly recommend him to anyone who needs a locksmith.

Repaired multi-point lock on sliding patio door and made keys for it. Produces keys on the spot. Quick expert service. Have already recommended to others. Cost was half of what I expected.

Joe was extremely responsive and professional. When we first contacted him we needed a lock replaced and ended up having him replace all locks and dead bolts with newer mechanisms. The timeliness of his response to our call was immediate and came to perform work that same day. His work was exceptional, cost efficient and cleaned up after completion and would use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone.
