Price was competitive ($8,000.00), he did say he was going to put in a drain - said all the right things, but he never came out to meet me in person. Everything was done by phone or by dropping off paperwork at my house when I was not there. I never met this person. I ended up hiring another company.

I called the company and left a message. They returned my call the same day (on a Friday) and promised to look at the sidewalk that Monday. On that Monday I received a call giving me an estimate to complete the work. When I called to let them know that I wanted their company to do the job, they told me that they would send me a contract to sign and to send it back with a ten percent down payment. The company later called to give me an approximate start date. A week before they were to start the job, I received a call telling me the exact day they would begin. On the day they began the work, Chris Romanin told me how long it would take. After the first day, Chris called me that night and stated that the crew would be back the following day to complete the job (put sections of the lawn back and remove the barriers). I was treated with respect and he was very professional. The company did a great job and my sidewalk looks fantastic.

We got the estimate within a few days, they made the whole process easy and smooth and we were able to get the job done within a week. They did work for myself and my neighbor. They were so easy to work with. They showed up on time, very pleasant and neat and tidy. I would hire them again and recommend them to anyone.

The work went very well without any hitches from start to finish. Prompt, neat, professional and cleaned up after themselves - what more can you ask for!

They did an excellent job pouring the concrete on my driveway also snow plowing it. My driveway is at least 100 feet long, including a huge area in front of my garage. They came out to plow 3 times in 1 day last year. I've known Chris Romanin since he was a kid and he's very honest and reliable. I'd use them again in a heartbeat!

I needed to repair a square of the public sidewalk in front of the duplex I just purchased. I called Chris Romanin and asked if he could do it. He called me right back and gave me a time frame of when it could be done and the price. The work was completed as described. Phone calls were always returned promptly and professionally. The sidewalk was also done quickly and professionally and at a reasonable price. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone needing concrete work done.

No one should have to replace a concrete driveway, but the work was the highlight of my summer. Chris Romanin kept us up to date about when he would arrive, appeared on time; worked efficiently with a cheerful, conscientious crew (of brothers and friends); added nice craftsmanship touches to the pavement; and followed up afterward. They represented the best of what I have come to expect of a really good contractor.

They were very polite. It took a while for them to come out, due to weather, but once they did they did a good job. He didn't try to fix more than I needed while other wanted to replace the whole drive.

They were very prompt and extremely polite. He let me know the water basin was not connected to the top part of the driveway and the drain tiles were destroyed. He told me they could replace all of it with PVC and then pour the concrete. I think they gave me an excellent price. The best part about it was that they showed up for the estimate, returned my phone calls, and are sure to stay in touch. As far as I could tell, they left no mess whatsoever. Very little of my landscaping was disturbed.

Chris Romanin was very prompt about getting back to me, from estimate to completion. His crew showed up when they were supposed to and did a thorough, professional job. Funds to correct this violation were held in escrow (I just bought the house) and Chris was helpful and understanding about me needing to get the violation inspected and approved by the city and title company before he got paid. He even managed to schedule my job in earlier than we had thought. I had a thoroughly good experience;this violation was a headache and it was relieved by Romanin's expertise in dealing with Cleveland Heights city codes.

They did the work as promised. They were very professional and had an excellent crew. I was very pleased with their work.

I WOULD LIKE TO THINK THAT HIS WORK LED TO MY HOUSE AND PROPERTY PASSING THE HOUSING INSPECTION BECAUSE IT DID.

He came out the same day I called. He was not pushing me to have the work done, but I wanted it done. All the guys doing the work were really nice and efficient.

Very quick response, and work was done well. They did advise they would call before work was to start, and they showed up unexpected. Also, they managed to cut wire for invisible fence (I had forgotten to warn them about it), and they did not advise us of the fact.

Chris is friendly and polite. Scheduling took a little work because he was busy. He and his crew honored my requests to pitch the walk away from the house, move excavated soil where I wanted it, seek my approval before pour, etc. But it took him a while to come back and remove his forms and stakes after concrete had cured.

GAVE A QUICK ESTIMATE, CAME OUT THE SAME WEEK AND PERFORMED THE WORK QUICKLY, PROFESSIONALLY WITH GOOD FOLLOW-UP AND CLEANUP. BEST CONCRETE WORK WE HAVE EVER HAD.

HE CALLED BACK AND EVERY TIME HE TOLD ME HE WAS COMING, HE WAS HERE. HE FINISHED 3 DAYS EARLIER THAN WHAT I THOUGHT. HE STARTED 3 DAYS EARLIER.

NICE WORK AND GOOD RESPONSIVENESS. BUT THEY MOVED SOME STONE BLOCKS FROM THE FRONT WALK AND SIDE OF THE GARAGE, AND DID NOT PUT THEM BACK VERY WELL - WOULD HAVE BEEN AN EASY THING FOR THEM BUT WILL NOW BE A FAIRLY LARGE JOB FOR ME. SAME WITH THE SOD FROM THE EDGES OF THE DRIVEWAY. CHRIS TENTATIVELY GAVE ME A JULY DATE, THEN CALLED AND WANTED TO DO THE WORK THE END OF MAY - THIS WAS A HASSLE BECAUSE I NEEDED TO BE OUT OF TOWN FOR MY WORK FOR MOST OF JUNE. I CAN UNDERSTAND THEIR WANTING TO GET STARTED IN EARLY SPRING, BUT I STILL HAVE TO REPAIR THE SOD AND STONEWORK. CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF WORK AND THE VERY LARGE COST, PUTTING THINGS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE COULD HAVE BEEN TENDED TO A LOT BETTER.

CHRIS ROMANIN RESPONDED THE SAME DAY AND SAID HE WOULD LOOK AT THE JOB SOON. GOT A QUOTE IN THE MAIL A COUPLE DAYS LATER. HIS QUOTE WAS THE HIGHEST OF FOUR PRICES I RECEIVED FOR THIS JOB. I CAN'T COMMENT ON HIS QUALITY. I CHOSE TO GO WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.

CHRIS ROMANIN IS ONE OF THE BEST CONTRACTORS MY HUSBAND & I EVER WORKED WITH. GAVE A REASONABLE PRICE AND DATE TO BEGIN WORK AND ACTUALLY STARTED ON TIME AND FINISHED THE WORK QUICKLY. WORKED WITH THE CITY OF CLEVELAND HEIGHTS SINCE THIS WAS A VIOLATION REPAIR WITH NO PROBLEMS (WHICH IN ITSELF IS A MIRACLE!). THE WORK WAS BEAUTIFUL, ALL THE NEIGHBORS ADMIRED HIS WORK AND WANTED HIM TO PERFORM WORK FOR THEM ALSO. VERY HAPPY WITH CHRIS AND WANT HIM TO DO A PATIO IN OUR BACKYARD SOON! DO NOT HESITATE TO USE THIS COMPANY FOR CONCRETE WORK! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

THEY DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO, AND MET ALL COMMITMENTS ON TIME & QUALITY. VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS. PLEASED THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO TAKE ON A SMALLER PROJECT.

I NEEDED THIS WORK DONE IN A HURRY. I CALLED ON A THURSDAY NIGHT, CHRIS CALLED BACK ON FRIDAY MORNING AND EVERYTHING WAS DONE BY THE NEXT TUESDAY MORNING. HE WAS ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THE CLEVELAND HEIGHTS CODE AND INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS, WHICH MEANT GETTING THE DRIVEWAY APPROVED BY THE CITY WAS A SNAP. WHILE I'M SURE I COULD HAVE FOUND SOME BARGAIN BASEMENT COMPANY TO DO THE WORK FOR A LITTLE LESS, THE OTHER COMPANIES I SPOKE TO WEREN'T FAMILIAR WITH DEALING WITH CLEVELAND HEIGHTS HOUSING INSPECTORS. HIS KNOWLEDGE WAS WELL WORTH THE FEW EXTRA BUCKS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

HE WAS VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH AND THE CONCRETE WAS INSTALLED IN LESS THAN A WEEK.

TIMELY, REASONABLE ESTIMATE AS WELL AS COMPLETION OF THE JOB. HE LEFT HARDLY A MESS AT ALL, AS WELL AS ANY ADJACENT SOD. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM.
