It took them a week to call me with an estimate. Two weeks later, I had to call them to get an update. The machine had apparently been ready for some time, but no one had called me. The machine was fixed to my satisfaction, but I shouldn't have had to wait three weeks to get it back.

It went very well!  They gave me an accurate time frame and kept me updated on when the part arrived and when it was installed and ready for pick up.  Will definitely use them again, but I hope I won't have too!

We were very pleased with them.  They have done everything they said they were going to do and kept the cost within their estimate.  What’s more, they do not try to sell you anything you don’t need.  They are not high-pressure salesmen, they are very customer oriented.

Everything went well. The serviceman got the 2 new TVs and another TV working correctly and hooked up the DVDs. He patiently went over how to use everything. My wife and I are older and have trouble with new technologies, but we both felt much more confident after the visit.

After diagnosing the problem and charging 90 dollars for a trip fee, they stated they didn't have the fan with them and would have to order it.  A few days later we had them scheduled to return to the house to install fan and day of service called and said that they ordered the wrong fan and would reorder it.  They came to the house a few days later 15 mins later than time window given, with the right fan and installed it (15mins). 
They charged 61 dollars for fan and added labor charges and then again charged a 90 dollar service fee. 
I can see the initial trip fee, fan cost and labor cost, however in my opinion the trip fee should be a one time charge.  I feel 250 dollars for a 60 dollar part and 35 mins of total time in the house is a little excessive.
I did contact Greg and was able to discuss the price.  Yes we did agree on the price but I never had a breakdown of the actual costs.  To my knowledge the fan could have been much more expensive.  He stated that everytime they have a guy leave the shop it costs the company 70 dollars. 
He did offer a 10% off the bill for the 2nd trip for parts and labor only.  However in my opinion the service should have been completed with one 90 dollar service charge.

I think that even though in the end, we all agreed that the TV couldn't be repaired they did give it their best shot.

Chris was very knowledgebale, called to let me know when he would arrive. He answered my questions.  The end product - TV and speakers mounted look great. 

When I stopped in the shop or called with questions, the owners were very helpful and answered my questions.  I will contact Meinke again.

2 guys came out and took the TV to test it. Then they brought it back 3 days later and everything worked fine. I had no warranty protection on it and they took care of it. They were very reasonable, prompt and very, very courteous. The only thing that I would have a little hesitation with is that I wish they would have not charged me $300 for the board, but the price for the board is $300. It is what it is and I can’t do anything about it. Greg was our service man and he was very receptive.

Excellent. I called Meineke to see if they picked TVs up since my flat screen is mounted on the wall and I couldn't remove it myself to bring it to them. They said yes, so I set up a time for them to stop by to look at my tv since it had no picture at all. The owner and his son stopped by as scheduled, dismantled the TV and took it back to their shop for diagnosis. Within a couple of days, they called and said it needed a new power board. (I was relieved that I didn't need to buy a new TV). They said it would take about a week to get the board in. After about 7 days or so, they called and said the TV was ready and when could they stop by. They arrived as scheduled, placed the TV back on the wall, reconnected cable and adjusted the picture. Picture quality is now terrific. I was impressed with their integrity because they could have easily said the TV was dead and that I needed to get a new one. (They also sell TVs). But when I do need my next TV, I will definitely go to them! Great experience. Will definitely use them again for service or to puchase my next TV.

We are not tech savvy. The new tv's scared us. We went into Meineke's with some trepidation when we decided we needed to replace our 25 year old tv with rabbit ears because we believe in supporting local family owned businesses. Our experience was beyond exceptional. Josh was able to answer all of our questions and make recommendations. He didn't make us feel stupid about the project. and because he did not have one brand in stock, he recommended we go to one of the big electronic stores and look at the product and compare brands and prices. we did that and returned to the store. We ended up purchasing 32 inch LG digital TV which I was not sure about but having spoken to more than 3 salespeople and researching the product decided to take the plunge. In addition Josh was willing to match the sales price of the TV listed at the electronic store. Josh also offered to deliver it the same day and his installer arrived within the designated time frame. Chris, the installer was incredibly wonderful, patient, educational, friendly and professional. he explained everything to us, even let us practice with the remote programs until we were comfortable. Once he left we realized we didn't have VCR capability, we called the next day, Josh tried to talk us through it, but it didn't help, Chris was again out within the specified time and fixed a minor set up problem. This experience was so positive it should be a model for customer service. we are grateful to Josh and Chris for making us feel comfortable. We would highly recommend Meineke's for anyone needing to buy a TV especially if they are not comforable with the newer technology.

I visited Meineke after my ph call, to check out their TV's for sale. Josh Meineke was very pleasant, knowlegeable, and professional. He even checked HH Gregg & Best Buy's prices online after I picked a Samsung model, to ck their prices, which were comparable. As those stores were in the vicinity, I went to them & checked for myself, as well as to check on a larger selection, to make sure I had chosen the right model & make for my needs. I then returned to Meineke, and bought a 40" Samsung model. Josh & another employee delivered & set it up with my other electronics & took old console for no fee, like the other retail stores offer. Note I returned to Meineke for my sale due to Josh Meineke: my salesclerk at HH Gregg was so bored answering my questions, and he even wandered off before I was finished.

Their price was very competitive. They were willing to match or beat the price of any other best buyers or big box store. Their customer service is far better than any other store. I bought a flat panel TV, a sound system and some other components and I wanted it to be set up in a certain way. The installers came out and listened to what I wanted. They set it up and did a great job. They are very customer oriented and very professional. Whenever I call them with a follow up question they are more than willing to help me or sort things out for me.
