Mike and Mary and crew painted the interior of my garage so that it looks like new. They were very professional in their work, staying on task and completing the job in less than a day. I look forward to their coming back this Spring to paint the exterior of my home.

The finished work was so good that I am having Mike and Mary Hatton come back to paint the rest of the exterior of the house. The Hatton's do not take short cuts in prepping the area to be painted. And they take their time while painting to make sure they are getting good results. Mike and Mary are easy to work with and only interrupt your day when they need to ask a question that will help them do their job better for you. It is my opinion that you get what you pay for and more with this company.

Mike and Mary provided a written estimate in the spring of 2013 with an estimated arrival date of late July, based on their bookings at the time. Weather was not in their favor, so our start date was about a month late, but they called to notify us several days in advance of their arrival. They arrived on time each and every day. The crew was friendly and the work done was of the highest caliber. We've never seen such outstanding and thorough prep work done before painting. Daily work was thorough, precise, impeccable! Our home and grounds were spotless at the end of each work day. We have outstanding results! Additionally, the Hattons were flexible with our requests due to our work schedules. They aim to please and please they did! We feel that in the 15 years we've been in our home, that it has NEVER been treated with such care and outstanding results as received by Hatton Quality Painting. It has never looked better than it does now. We do intend to hire Mike and Mary again for interior painting and woodworking.

We have used Hatton as a painter several times over the past ten years. He does excellent work which holds up for year and he cleaned the premises with courtesy and care.

The job went very smoothly. They were on time and cleaned up after each day. They kept us abreast of what they accomplished each day too. Some neighbors seeing all they do and the beautiful finished job are inquiring about using Hatton too. I highly recommend them for any painting that needs to be done.

This is a great company with great people. Mary and Mike Hatton are perfectionists and perform outstanding high quality work, as do their artisan staff. My house is in better condition on the exterior than it was when newly built 20 years ago. Every external surface has been refinished, cleaned and re-painted using high quality paint selections that give it a luster and seal that it never had before. These are painting experts that know the importance of extensive preparation of the house before the impeccable painting process even started. My garage door has a multi-color design on it, that they re-painted in such fine, crisp, and clean detail that it really stands out, even when viewed from the street. The Hattons are really driven to provide a quality outcome, and I will always use them in the future. I highly recommend them for quality and value. They are very busy, so be sure to plan ahead if you want to use their services! I booked my house in March, to have my house painted in July. Another fantastic Angie's List find for me!!

The quality of the completed job was excellent. They took a long time to complete the job although the end result is worth it. They first told me it would be 5 days but they were there almost the entire month of July (but to some degree it was weather related.) On a not-to-so-good note, one of the workers (not the owners) totally covered over my outside air conditioning unit with drop cloths and as a result overheated the unit and shut it down during one of the extremely hot weeks in July and I was without air until service could come out.

They did a fantastic job! We had some soot damage from a faultey water heater and after they finished, it was if we had a brand new house. We can't recommend them enough. They were fast, professional and "salt of the earth" folks. If we have painting jobs in the future, they'll be the ones we call!

We receive compliments from friends and family on the paint job. He and his team were also efficient, never canceling or moving dates. They offer fair pricing for quality painting. You get what you pay for.

Terrible- never called me back to give an estimate

Mike and Mary Hatton run the company and are very pleasant to work with. We originally arranged to have the painting completed last fall, but due to weather and their busy schedule, the job was rescheduled for this spring. Mike and Mary supervised all work that was done. They sincerely take pride in their work and are attentive to every detail. The result was amazing. We would be happy to recommend Mike and Mary and will use them again in the future.

Mike and Mary are friendly, personable and excellent painters. They take a lot of pride in their work. I actually contacted them for exterior painting, and while we were discussing that (in my hideous kitchen) I suddenly realized that the interior should really be painted as well. They were extremely accommodating, arriving bright and early on the appointed day. They are meticulous in their painting, immediately correcting even the tiniest flaw (that I couldn't even see). I have already contracted with them to paint and repair the exterior and deck of the house. I will always use them for any future painting jobs. My house has natural woodwork trim which didn't require any painting, but they cleaned and polished all of the woodwork, doors and cabinets. I couldn't be happier.

Hatton responded same day I called to schedule an appointment for an estimate. After discussion, measurements, etc. Mr. Hatton gave me an estimate during the appointment in writing. The painting date was scheduled, he and another painter sanded, cleaned up with a power vac, applied primer, let it dry for an hour then came back and put 2 coats of high quality white paint on the railings. Next day, he came back to put a top coat on it. It looks fabulous, very professionally done, a huge improvement, lightens up our entry way. I wish I'd done this years ago. I think this will really make a difference when we sell our condo. I am planning to have Hatton re-paint all the interior of the condo closer to putting it on the market.

Considering the amount of preparation work and painting that had to be done, work was well performed in a reasonable time. These folks are perfectionists, but very easy to have around for a week. Jack and Connie Campbell

I reached out to 6 painting companies for estimates in early December, and received 6 quotes which varied significantly. Mike and Mary's quote was not the least expensive, nor most expensive, however it was comparable to my second choice. I went back and read the Angie's list reviews for the final two companies, and I was impressed by the reviews written for Hatton Quality Painting. This led me to select them for the job. Mike and Mary were able to start the job a few days early. They knew we were on a limited time schedule and wanted to make sure they had the work done on time. Mary went out of her way to help me select my final colors. She offered suggestions and even painted samples for me on the walls so I could see the colors in all different lights. The Hatton's painted our entry foyer, upstairs hallway, nursery, two guest bedrooms, guest bathroom, master bedroom, master bathroom, and the cabinets in our master bathroom. The job included ceilings, walls, and trim which included converting dark wood trim to white trim for half the job. Mike and his team did an excellent job! The trim looks absolutely wonderful! His lines are impeccably straight, and the quality of his work is terrific. Mike and Mary are extremely detailed and thorough. I appreciated his perfectionism and have yet to find an area or spot that does not meet my own high standards. I highly recommend, and I plan to hire them again for the next painting project!

Mr. Halton, did an outstanding job and was reasonably priced. He started the job a month after he originally agreed (August 31 instead of August 1), but the wait was worth it. He is very professional.

The quality of all of this work was excellent and Mike and Mary are very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend them with no reservations to anyone who needs either exterior or interior painting done.

There is just one word to describe Mike and his team "Meticulous!". I was referred to Mike and I'm so thankful I was. They painted the exterior of our entire home including a large deck and from start to finish they were wonderful. The entire crew takes great pride in the work they do and they respect that they are on your property too. I have extensive gardens and they were so mindful not to damage any of my plants which was really hard to do. I've never worked with a painter who does such a thorough job. They spend time doing the prep work which is so important, powerwashing, scraping, sanding and patching before they even start painting. They paint your home as if it was their own. And their rates are reasonable for the quality and amount of work they do. My husband and I couldn't be more pleased and are happy to give Mike and his team a glowing recommendation. They are now our "Painter of Choice!"

.We called him about the need to paint some trim on a sunporch, where the wood had been rotting, and was replaced. He came a day or so after the call. He noticed other small needs to our house, and completed work on those as well.As his business has grown, he has become more busy, but worked us in in a timely way. The house and the handrails look great. The colors are just right, and the iron work glows.

Overall work performed was excellent - the amount of prep work performed (pressure washing, sanding and scraping) was the best we have ever had. The quality of paint application and attention to detail was great. The only issue was the delay in starting the job - we were scheduled to start mid May but the project was started mid June. However the end result was definitely worth the wait. We would recommend the Hattons for any interior or exterior paint job for high quality at a fair price.
