I left a message April 3, 2012 for Hattons to please call me about getting an estimate to paint the exterior trim on our brick home & detached garage. I didn't receive a call-back or message, so sent a follow-up email on April 9th. My message included the info that I am home 5 days a week, but can not schedule appointments on Thursday or Friday. I never heard back from him by phone or email. I understand how hard it is to satisfy everyone, especially as a small business. Mr. Hatton is in Cincinnati, which isn't in our immediate neighborhood, but he specifically includes our county in his service area. For such high ratings on Angie's List, his responsiveness is ridiculous. He should have just left me a message that he's too busy to handle a job that's not nearby.

Mike and his crew were very professional, courteous, and friendly. Their bid of $7850 was very reasonable. They found a carpenter for extra wood repairs that were needed. We are very happy and will definitely use them for further work.

Mike Hatton & Company, did a fabulous job. There was a lot of surface preparation needed on our wood and home. They were meticulous about everything. Our home looks brand new.

Mike, Mary and the rest of the family at Hatton Quality Painting once again did an outstanding job on our deck and smokehouse. We had them back after painting our entire 1859 victorian home last fall and they again exceeded our expectations. The quality of their work is unsurpassed in our experience. They spend a large amount of time doing the prep work which makes all the difference. They are always courteous and friendly and willing to do whatever small extras we ask for. Their clean up work each day makes working with them a pleasure. They showed up on time and finished the job in the amount of time they said they would. We asked for some additional carpentry repairs and they did them at a very reasonable price. Once again it was an extremely good experience both in terms of the process and the end result. I would highly recommend using Hatton Quality Painting especially if you have a job that is not standard or routine in nature.

The prep work on all the surfaces was superior. Mike and Mary of Hatton Quality Paint went beyond on the quality of work. I did not have to supervise them or go behind them. They knew exactly what they were doing. They made sure all the surfaces were clean, sanded where needed and ready for painting. They even saw where the back patio was stained with dirt and mold, and they cleaned it for me. It looks new.

Hatton Quality Painting did an excellent job with the painting (deep colors requiring multiple coats), trim lines and edging were straight and sharp. The rooms look completely transformed. They were flexible in meeting our needs, they were timely and professional in their approach to the work. They even helped me move my furniture back into the rooms. We look forward to having them back later this spring to paint the exterior of our house. I would highly recommend them for a quality paint job at a fair price.

I couldn't be happier with the work Hatton Quality Painting did for me. I have an 80 year old home, which is in decent shape but definitely needed some TLC. Hatton did an amazing job, and my house looks like new! THE PAINTER HAD ME FILL OUT A FORM AFTER HE WAS FINISHED AND I DID SO AND HE WAS GOING TO PUT IT IN THE MAIL.

They were on schedule and professional. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the work area. It was a pleasure to have them around.

We called Hatton Quality Painting back to do some interior work for us because of the excellent work they recently completed on painting the exterior of our home. They stained the new wood on the walls of our family room, painted the ceiling in that room, painted the trim in our hallway and repaired/painted the ceiling in one of our bathrooms. As before, they did an excellent job and we were completely satisfied with every aspect of their work. They showed up on time, completed the work in the amount of time estimated and cleaned up completely each day. The quality of the work was outstanding and they did more than originally planned at a very reasonable cost. Mike and Mar Hatton were on site to do the work along with family members that we knew and trusted. We felt completely comfortable having them in our home and they exceeded our expectations. We have just finsihed having the entire exterior of our vintage victorian house painted by Hatton Quality Painting. It has been without a doubt the best experience we have had working not only with a painting company but any vendor we have employed to work on restoring our home. The people at Hatton are not just painters, they are artists. They did an incredible job on our house from start to finish and far exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Mike and his wife Mary run the company and all of the people they employ are family members. This was a very big job and took over two months to complete. They showed up every day and did work of the highest quality. They spent an exorbitant amount of time preparing the house before the painting even began, sanding, caulking, replacing wood and filling holes all at no additional charge. With a project like ours, it is impossible to know exactly what will be involved before getting into it. Mike and his team did everything that was necesary to do the job in a completely professional manner every day. They truly take pride in their work and are extremely customer focused. The painting work was done masterfully. They first coat of paint made the house look better than it ever had in 162 years. The second or finished coat made it look exquisite. Countless people have stopped by our house while to work was in progress to marvel at the craftmanship they were exhibiting as well as the finished look. Mike, Mary and the crew are very easy to work with and completely trustworthy. We gave them complete acess to our home without any hesitation. During the course of the project we added on a few small extras and they were very reasonably priced for all of the work. They are not the lowest priced but the value they provided for the amount of work that they did make them very competitve and well worth the money. We would obviously recommend them without hesitation especially if you have a job that is more complex than average and requires a high level of skill and care to meet your expectations. The only problem may be getting on their schedule as the quality of their work is making them increasingly in demand. They were on this job for quite a while and they became friends as well as contractors and we miss having them around. They will be coming back in the spring to do more work inside for certain. Halton's, is an excellent painter, friendly, and accommodating. He painted well, prepared surface well and cleans up after.

I called to set up appointment. The appointment was set for 12/1/11. We waited and waited and no one showed up. I called about an hour after the appointment was to be and left a message. Haven't heard from them.

Experience was very good. Painters were very communicative throughout the entire project.

Mike and his team, did a nice job. Once the weather broke he was able to complete the project in a timely manner. He did a nice job of prepping the house prior to painting, washing, scraping and sanding.

They were reasonably priced and did good work.

They came promptly, moved furniture, patched walls, paid much attention to details like repair in previous painting of walls, did a complete clean up of room, and even dusted furniture.

All agreed painting was done on time and on budget. In addition, Mike went the extra mile to fix/replace rotten window frames, insulate and patch holes. All and all, a great job. I would highly recommend Hatton Quality Painting.

We obtained four bids for the job, 3 of 4 from top Angies List providers. We selected Hatton based on meeting Mike & Mary Hatton, their reviews and ratings on Angies List, the job they said they would do, their insurance coverage, and their price (they were not the lowest of four bids, but were close). We have lived in our house almost 23 years, and this was our 3rd exterior paint job. Hatton's painting was neat, precise, and high quality. We feel it was the best we've had.

Michael & Mary Hatton of Hatton Quality Painting did an outstanding job on my home. Our home is 57 years old and I'm sure it never had a paint job of this quality. You really don't know mediocre until you've experienced the BEST !
