Honeycomb blinds installed 07/14/11 in living room. After installation I pointed out to the owner and installer that they were installed wrong. I have casement windows that have handles in frame of window. The way they were installed, when the blinds were pulled down, the handles made the blinds bulge out. They remounted honeycombs. August 10, 2011 - I called and informed them that one of the blinds hangs crooked and that I thought the blinds were too short. When pulled all the way down to the window sill the pleats were stretched to the max . An appointment was set for August 17, 2011. On Aug. 17 - A blind representative, the owner (Bill), installer and sales rep (Lynn) came. They kept telling me that I needed to be sure and move the blinds up and down as much as possible, this helps loosen them from being tight and will hang better. The owner and installer kept pulling blinds up and down and adjusting to get them to hang properly. (I have had Hunter Douglas honeycomb blinds before and never ever had this issue.) Meanwhile I kept insisting that they were made too short and did not look proper when pulled all the way down. The representative for the blinds told the owner Bill to get with the manufacturer. On October 24, 2011 - I left a message at place of business (2575 West US 22/3..Maineville, OH) that I have as yet to find out the final outcome of our meeting (2 months ago). Bill called back leaving a message that he thought this was taken care of. He will check into it. Here I am February 9, 2012 and have not as yet heard anything. I now do not want anything else to do with this company. They do not care about customer satisfaction or the product they sell. I went to a place called Slats on Montgomery Rd and what a difference in the showroom, quality and owner. Be sure to check out other businesses before deciding. I had just moved here and was anxious to get my blinds, what a mistake doing business with Budget Blinds. They have the worst business ethics.
