I bought the $150 for $127 coupon through Angie's list, figuring that would cover at least some of the trash I needed removed, even if I had to pay a bit extra on the day of removal. However, I was very pleasantly surprised not only by the good price, but the great service. I called the company, and they scheduled me for the very next day. They called in advance of arrival, and arrived within the 2 hour window they said they would. The two guys were friendly, polite, and quick, and they fit everything I had into the truck without charging me a penny more than the coupon I purchased. I really highly recommend this company!

Steven and Nick were very profession and most congenial. They arrived in a timely fashion, worked quickly and efficiently, and even cleaned the area before leaving.

On the last 3 properties, these guys showed up on time, were easy to work with, were 100% thorough, and we will for sure use to use them again and again.

While the coupon was only for part of a truck, I advised them when I made the appointment that we would probably have a truck load. They arrived promptly for the appointment. Upon assessing the amount of yard waste, they determined the best order to load the waste into the truck to make sure they could get as much as possible into the truck. They were courteous, efficient.and friendly. They explained that they would be happy to remove any junk in our house if we had anything we needed to be eliminated. I was impressed with the fact that they work to recycle everything they can. As they worked on removing the yard waste, my husband and I continued to trim the trees and bushes on our property. It became apparent that we were creating much more yard waste than the truck could hold. They pack the truck as full as possible. We decided to have them return to get the rest of the waste. They were able to return the next day. That next day we took them up on the offer to remove things from the house and had them remove a significant amount of unneccessary items like old storm windows and collected metal and wood that had accumulated in the basement. It was great to have the space reclaimed. They made quick work of a project we had been putting off because of the amount of physical labor that was involved. I will definately call them again whenever I need yard waste or any debris removed.

My church was needing some old furniture from their basement. It was much too heavy for us to do on our own so we called 1-800-DECLUTTER. They hauled all our old furniture up from the basement to their trucks. I called 3 companies in Cincinnati for pricing and they were the most affordable. They were very prompt and arrived 10 minutes early. Thanks so much!

Entire job was completed quickly, efficiently and professionally. Made appointment earlier in week. When crew discovered that they would be delayed in arriving, they courteously called with an estimate of when they hoped to get here, offering to reschedule, if necessary. Told them it was not necessary and they arrived only a few minutes after they said they would. Crew was very courteous and professional in showing and explaining to me their rate structure, and after examining the size and condition of the woodpile, gave a rough estimate of what the final cost range would be, depending on what they discovered about the actual weight of the load as they moved it to their truck. I agreed, and they proceeded to move the wood into their truck. They worked quickly and efficiently. When they had finished, they raked clean the area under and around where the woodpile had stood and removed the small debris, which was a very neat and professional touch. They gave me the final price, within the range they had estimated and, in my opinion, a fair price for the amount of work and weight involved. They then deducted the Angie's List Coupon, and processed my credit card for the payment.. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly!

They didn't do what they said they were going to do or the time they said they would. So we put the furniture out at the street and when we came back it was gone. I didn't know if they picked it up or if someone had grabbed it off the street. They sent me a bill but they had no proof they were the ones who picked up it. They couldn't find the paperwork or find the furniture on their trucks. They agreed not to bill me.

I called 1-800-DECLUTTER and asked them to come out and remove 10 railroad ties from my back-yard. The only information given was that my my Angie's coupon (purchased for $79) would cover a $159 pick-up (1/6 of a truck load). Knowing that 10 railroad ties would not take up a full 1/6th of a truck load, I assumed that I was covered. My pick-up was scheduled for Wednesday at 11 am. Wednesday morning I was called and informed that the truck couldn't be there at 11 am, but they would to try to arrive in the gauranteed 11:00am - 1:00pm time frame. At 1:00 pm I was called and told that they couldn't keep the scheduled appointment. I got the feeling that my discounted coupon wasn't getting the same priority as other non-discounted customers. I was then promised a 3:30 pick-up the next day. At 3:30pm the next day I was called and promised a 4:20 pm arrival. Upon arrival, i was informed that my railroad ties were not covered by the 1/6 truckload offer. The truck driver priced the pick-up at 3/8 "bed load" for a price of possibly $269 less the 150 for the coupon (which was listed as $159) making it another $119. Note: he never actually stated the $119 price and left me wondering what he was offering. I offered my $159 coupon plus $100. The driver refused and I sent him on his way. SO IF YOU WANT REPEATED DELAYS, and A JACKED_UP PRICE upon arrival - call 1-800-DECLUTTER. Otherwise, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.

The techs were late arriving. However, I received a call to advise me. ( I can understand how difficult scheduling would be for this type of work) They were very nice & very professional. I would definitely use them again. And I'm sure I will have to! My husband is a pack rat.

I spoke to Steve to schedule the pickup, and he was friendly and informative. On the scheduled morning, he called about half an hour into the 2 hour window he had given me to get more details on what I needed hauled, so he could decide if the guys needed to empty the truck before coming to my house. He decided they did need to, so he said they would probably get to my house shortly before the end of the two hours. He went out of his way to let me know they definitely intended to arrive within the two hours. They called me to let me know they were on the way and they did arrive just before the two hours were up. It wouldn't have bothered me if they had been a little bit late as long as they kept me informed, but I appreciated their attention to promptness. The two men who arrived were both friendly, pleasant and professional. They looked at most of what I wanted hauled and then estimated what portion of the truck it would fill, and showed me the price for that amount. At one point I asked if they could take cans of paint and they said yes, with a small extra charge--it turned out to be $1 per can, so it only added $5 to my bill for roughly 5 cans of paint. One of the guys mentioned that 1-800-got-junk has extra charges for more items, and charges more for each increment, so if I had used them my cost would have been a lot higher. I was using an Angie's List Big Deal, so I saved $80 over what it would normally have cost. After taking everything out of the house they swept the areas where piles of debris were left. The whole thing took less than an hour. It went very well and I will definitely consider calling them again if I need more junk hauled in the future.

They did a great job. Removed all items as requested, cleaned up after. Very professional.

They called 1/2 hour before coming as promised. Nick and Steve were some of the most professional and polite people I have ever met! They did the job quickly and left the basement and the garage clean and swept. I will definitely use this company again- especially if Nick and Steve are on the job. Well done!

The work performed was excellent, efficient. the workers were very polite and respectful and took care not to damage the floors or walls. I would definitely use their services again.

When using them the 3rd time at my residence, they again were professional, on time and very pleasant to work with. I had an unfinished basement with 25 years of clutter in it. I put a post it note on each item that was to be removed, and it was a LOT of stuff. They worked tirelessly without stopping until the job was done. They were exceedingly fair about pricing, and I will ALWAYS use them for this service.

I was amazed that I was able to get an appointment the same day I called. It was really the only day I could be home from work for a while. I was given a 2-hour window of the time they'd show up. The truck driver called about 30 minutes before they arrived - just as promised. They looked at what I had for them to haul -- it was a large pile on my driveway of wood from a backyard deck that had been around a pool in addition to junk I emptied from the garage. This is all from a rental property that I recently purchased. They gave me a price and I agreed. They were extremely polite all throughout the time they were at my property. They loaded one truck and said that they could return, perhaps within the next couple of days to haul the rest. An hour or so later I received a call from the driver asking if they could return because they had been able to pick up an empty truck from a close-by appointment (that turned out to be just an estimate). I said "sure" and in minutes they began loading the rest of the debris from the driveway. They used a big shovel and a rake and were able to pick up and clean up every last piece of scrap. If you are looking to hire haulers you should call this company! The satisfaction I have with this company is even greater because I found them to be recommended on Angie's.

The folks from Declutter were very professional, easy to work with and finished the job quickly. I was pleased with the results and would recommend this company to others.

My scheduled appt. with declutter was cancelled hrs before they were suppose to arrive at my home, per a phone message left by an employee named Scott. When I got home from work and heard the message I called and Scott explained that his trucks were backed up as a result of all the calls they'd received and the number of unexpected items that were being added to their loads. As a pre-paid customer I didn't feel I was being treated fairly. I wondered why declutter wouldn't inform customers who add so much extra onto a load that they need to reschedule, since other customers are waiting behind them. This apparently was quite funny to Scott who laughed at me and said my little $30 job (after Angie's cut & other expenses) wasn't worth losing the bigger jobs over. He told me to go ahead and ask for a refund from Angie's List. That pretty much did it for me. I demanded to talk to his boss, if he had one, and wanted that person's name. He refused to tell me and said it was none of my business. I sent an email to the company complaining of Scott's unprofessionalism but have not heard back and quite frankly don't expect to.I'm somewhat disappointed with Angie's List also because I have faithfully used their website to research reputable contractors and have been very happy until now. I question whether these "big deals" are really big deals for the consumers or just a quick way for some companies to rack up as much money as they can and to heck with providing good service like they promise in their ads.

I called the company to set up the removal of material, using the Angie's List coupon. They were very friendly on the phone and very flexible in setting the date. The men who came to do the job were also very friendly, and easy to work with. We talked about how they could arrange things on the truck to avoid moving into a higher price bracket. I give them A++ ratings instead of just A. They exceeded my expectations: very friendly, very professional, very high quality work. I'll definitely use them again.

David and Nick spent 2 days (8/8 and 8/9) removing stuff/junk/clutter from my mother's house in Newport. She passed a way 2 yrs ago and I made the mistake of "renting"...BIG mistake. They totally trashed the house. In addition to using 1-800-Declutter, I spent another $1,300 with Scherzinger Pest control. I never heard these 2 guys complain and they surely had every right to...this was two days of above 90 degrees and this house is NOT air conditioned.I had a 15% off coupon from Angie's List that saved me $179. I have donated the house to our church (Immanuel Baptist, Florence KY) for a mission and a family with 8 kids will be moving in the end of August.Thank God for folks like 1-800-Declutter...I would definitely use them again (but hope I don't have to), but will surely recommend them to all my friends/family.

These guys were great. They treated me like I was their first customer. They were up front with the estimate they were very efficient and they even hosed down my driveway before they left. Great job. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

I liked that they came in with their dolly and were willing to take away some big flower pots, even though I had not put that on the original order. They showed up on time.
