Bill Conti Plumbing

We used Bill last year to replace our kitchen faucet and disposal. He was prompt getting to our house and got the job done in a timely manner. Bill is very knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything about our new disposal, things people never bother to read about in the instructions! He cleaned up afterwards and left the area spotless. A few weeks ago, our sump pump stopped working. It was a Friday after 5pm. We remembered how happy we were with Bill, and called him right away. He responded to our call immediately and offered to come right over but suggested that the pump is not difficult to replace and gave my husband a few simple instructions on how to do so. Bill called back about an hour later to be sure everything was okay, offer any further assistance and to be certain we did not need him to come over. Everything was as he explained, and my husband was able to replace the unit himself. This experience has only further increased our respect and satisfaction with Bill Conti. He could have gouged us with an after hours / weekend rate, which is what many others would have done.

Bill Conti Plumbing is a plumber that I am dealing with. Actually he ended up not doing anything, I'm pretty sure by next week he will be out doing stuff. He was one of those guys that saved me a bundle by being honest. It was last week or the week before. I have been happy with every the company has done except the one man that they sent out. He was a bully, he was rude. And he really was bludged me to get a new water heater. And even the gas company said that the water heater was fine. I had a couple of handy men and everybody said it was fine. Anyway, the other guy would not sign something for the city. But the water heater was okay, he wouldn't sign it and another handyman. He had explained to me how to, I found one of the missing parts that they were complaining about and what I needed to do with the city to have it fixed. If I needed the permit how much it would be. And said that, told me how to fix it myself and the fact that there was no way the other place could have found what they said they found without dismantling the heater. They hadn't done that. So he was really, first he had an appointment and he called me back and he said I don't have the conscious to do that, I don't need to do this. I have him on my phone on auto dial. He does 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies. He was so honest. Of all the other handymen that I was working with, things are tight, he said I'm not charging you for this, you just don't need me.

It was a very pleasant experience. I called Bill and told him that our disposal was leaking and I would like to have a new kitchen faucet installed. We weren't sure what faucet we wanted but Bill didn't mind if we picked one up and he would install it. He reccomended that we stick to Moen or Delta. We ended up getting a Moen faucet at Active Plumbing. Bill brought the disposal with him. He installed the faucet and the disposal. I thought that $346 was very reasonable since the price of the disposal was included.

Bill Conti plumbing was very professional and preformed all services to our satisfaction. We will use them in the future as they were also a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend Bill Conti. He installed 3 faucets and handled some water pressure issues and made 2 repairs for me over a 2 day period. When bad weather impacted his ability to arrive on time, he called me multilple times to update his arrival time. He did the work in a timely manner and explained everything that he did. He had all the materials and parts that he needed with him. Bill even gave me some advice on home maintenance things that I can do myself. I will not hesitate to use him again.

I first called Bill Conti to repair a leaking toilet supply valve and a slow draining bathtub. He performed both repairs as quoted and recommended a water pressure reducing valve be installed because the reading was about 150 psi when it normally should be between 80 and 100. His diagnoses was right on. We had noticed the water was coming out of our faucets extremely fast and we experience pipe rattling when we used the dishwasher. Bill installed the valve as scheduled at the price quoted. We tested the dishwasher and the pipe rattling problem did not happen. We had moved into this house three weeks ago and were not aware of the high pressure problem before Bill noticed the problem. Bill Conti is the consumate professional in his industry. He is courteous, knows his business and performs beyond expectations, and, doesn;t overcharge!

Wonderful! Bill Conti was professional, prompt, informative, and was good with our kids! We will definitely use him again.

I contacted Bill in the morning and explained that I had a couple of minor plumbing issues. He offered to come that same evening after I got home from work. I was amazed that he was able to come over that quickly and did not charge extra for evening hours to boot. Bill arrived right on time and was extremely professional, courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Bill also took the time to point out a problem with pipes under my bathroom sink that did not need immediate repair. He provided me with an estimate but did not pressure me to have the repairs performed now. Bill's fee was very reasonable. I highly recommend Bill for plumbing needs. It is evident he cares about his customers. I have found my plumber for life!

When contacting Mr. Conti, I did not have to wait long for a returned phone call or service. I called on a Monday and he was here the next day, which was a Tuesday. Mr. Conti was punctual, courteous, friendly, and actually showed and explained the reasons I was having problems with the faucet. After taking out the old faucet, Mr. Conti cleaned the area thoroughly and then put in the new faucet. He cleaned out the toilet with the snake and then put in the new water line that feeds water to the bowl; and put in another part that I will call a "cap." We are back on track with the toilet. I have well water, which is really cold, and this causes condensation to form on the toilet tank. Mr. Conti suggested I may want to replace the old toilet with a new one that is insulated and has a smooth coating on the inside then gave me a "ball park" figure. He even checked the floor underneath the toilet to make certain it was not rotted, which it was not. For $190, I can breathe a sigh of relief and two projects are coming off my list. I would definitely call him for my other plumbing needs too.

Bill arrived promptly this morning and within one hour he had snaked out the drain. He charged us only $135 and waived his normal $35 service charge. Bill is totally competent, efficient and a pleasure to work with. From now on he is definitely our plumber.

Bill was over to look at a slow leak that was causing damage to the drywall in our utility room. Showed up at the door within 30 minutes of talking to him and identified the cause to be the indoor water meter and told us the the city water dept needs to come out and replace it. Didn't charge us a dime since his estimates are free, and offered free advice on how we could prolong the life of the older valves. Was extremely personable and pleasant to work with, would definitely recommend him! UPDATE: About a month after Bill was out we had another issue, our hot water heater went out (in the middle of the night). Contacted Bill at 7:00 that morning and he was there within an hour with a new tank. Replaced it very quickly and hauled the old one away. Consistently impressed with his level of customer service!

Overall the experience was positive and I will use Mr. Conti in the future.

It was wonderful. He came in, set up did the job, cleaned up and left. Charged me what was quoted. Was very pleased with it all. He was very pleasant, no ego or attitude was displayed in my dealings with him.

I knew I had to get this toliet fixed. I called a few people, the price ranged from 450, 425, 135 for the repair.The first guy was the expensive one, he only gave me the quote when he was on site. I told him it was too much he said he is the lowest plumber in the area. I had him leave... he left so fast he forgot some of his tools behind. Then I called Bill. He told me over the phone a quote, and came the next morning. He kept to his quote of 135.00, and repaired toliet fast. I will use him from now on.

He was very honest and his pricing was fair. He was very thorough. He even offered a 5% discount for seniors if he did the work.

Bill arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and attentive to my concerns. I knew that would be the case, because a few months beforehand, during a renovation at my place, he had come promptly to deal with a plumbing leak. (My contractor had recommended him.)

Bill came out and replaced the entire drain assembly underneath my kitchen sink. I had noticed water leaking onto the floor for weeks which was damaging the hardwood and called him thinking it could take a week to get him out. When I explained the nature of the problem he came out the same day. Once Bill arrived he determined he did not have all the parts he would need so he went to the store and returned quickly to start the job. He was there for three hours and only charge me for 2+ his $35 service fee. Less than 24 hours later my basement had water on the floor as a result of a broken valve on the hot water tank. I called Bill back and asked him if he would come out for emergency service to which he agreed. Bill showed up within a few hours and fixed my problem for $90. Amazingly, he didn't charge me any additional fee for the emergency call. Bill is an actual craftsman and as long as he is practicing his trade I will always use him for both residential and commercial plumbing needs.

I have used him several times. Each time I have used him, he has done the work well and there has not been any problem. I like his work and I feel that he is reasonable, honest, and he does not fool around. I spent $156 on the job. He usually comes within a reasonable amount of time. I feel he is very straightforward when he tells me what he can do. He will give options if there is more than one way of doing something. He gets the work completed within a reasonable amount of time. When he comes out, he comes ready to work. I like to use him because he comes out on the appointed day. If he is going to be late, he will call me. I will definitely use his services in the future.

I felt bad about him coming out on New Years eve, so i told him not to come. He was not even going to charge me extra. He did come out an fix it on another day. Another time I dropped candle wax down the sink and clogged it. He came out and fixed that also. He is a wonderful person and man.

It went very well. Mr. Conti showed up exactly on time. Fixed problems and explained what he did and what we could expect. He also gave us an estimate on some fairly extensive drain repairs which we will have done at another time.

Mr. Conti arrived exactly on time. He worked for 3 solid hours and everything is now working correctly. He charged us the price he quoted on the drain back in April. It was no surprise for us. The other work added up to the total. Another excellent job, thanks.

Bill Conti was very polite and professional. He took the trouble to point out where we were getting corrosion on our water pipes and applied a treatment to stop the corrosion. He suggested we check at times and re-apply to save us from future problems. This was unlike another plumber we had who put some new pipes in, but failed to mention how to stop the corrosion.
