The two electricians were on time, very professional and friendly. They installed the surge protector. Also installed three new smoke detectors and several safety plugs, including a single plug just for the microwave, which is required but we did not have. They checked two nonworking outside lights, fixing a wire for one and completely replacing the other. They suggested a few additional items we might think about for the future, and we will be happy to have them come back. A great experience.

The quality was excellent. No problems there. That was $200 which I felt was fair. I was disappointed because we had some other work we were inquiring about (to install a ceiling fan) and they told me it would be a problem and that it would cost around $900. The guy who came out was fine, I just had a problem with their estimate and attitude.

Two men came, on time, and looked at the job that needed done. Literally, the button to the doorbell just needed moved to the right about 4 inches so we could fit our storm door on. I was told it could not be done as simply as I thought, they would have to rewire though the basement and I was even told they may have to tear out part of the wall to get to the wire and would put new dry wall up but I would have to do the sanding/painting etc.. At this point I had a feeling they were telling me more work that needed to be done, so I asked for the cost. I was told it would be $300 and they tried to sugar coat it by saying they don't charge a service fee or by the hour so even if it takes 4 hours to do the work it would just be $300. I told them I would talk to my husband and call them back. The next day I had another company come out to look at the job (Walls-Carroll) and they said they could do the work all from the outside and wouldn't need to do anything from the basement or tear down any walls or anything. I had that company do the work, they charged me $75 and did exactly what I needed done. I would NOT recommend this company for any work, they WILL overcharge you and tell you unnecessary work that needs done just to make more money, my guess is to make up for the "service fee" they don't charge.

Called on dead receptacle on a weekend evening.

Hired them to install a level 2 EV charging station (240 v 40 A circuit) from an existing panel for our Ford CMAX Energi. Spent an additional $500 to install whole house surge suppression. I called Monday to ask for an estimate and Mark came out the same day. He helped me verify input requirements and compatibility of the station from Home Depot or Amazon with my vehicle. He explained surge suppression benefits given the amount of electronics in my house and now a $30,000 electric car to protect. I ordered the charger for arrival on Wednesday and scheduled the work for Friday afternoon. He was on time and did a great job on a very cold day in my garage. Mark was called away on an emergency job (with the cold) as he was closing up mine. He arranged to come back when I was home from church on Sunday, mainly to carefully relabel the breaker panel to make sure it was clear after moving things around which breaker went to what. He double checked that all terminals were torqued down and everything was cleaned up before he left. The charger works great and charges the car in under 2 hours. While I would unplug the car if a storm was approaching, it is peace of mind to have the additional level of protection. A very successful job.

As a final remedy requirement for selling my house, I had to have the breaker for our oven/range upgraded from 40 amp to 50 amp breaker. I found this out less than 48 hours before the house closing was scheduled. This company provides evening hours and I was able to schedule a next day appointment for the evening so I didn't have to call off my job. The technician was prompt and professional. I knew the breaker needed replaced, but it turns out the wiring also needed switched out to be compatible with the new breaker. So this service call took 2+ hours in all and was pricey for such a specific task, but all in all I was pleased that it could be fixed on such short notice.

The service provider arrived on time and cleaned up after he left and performed the services he was hired to do.

He arrived late with no phone call letting me know. When he got here he had to leave to get supplies and was gone 2 hours. Finally the job got done. Price was great so i dont want to complain too much.

Great! Kenny Haley, the service tech from Mr. Electric was prompt, efficient and personable. He did an excellent job.

He was running a little bit behind but did call to let me know that. He explained what it was that he was installing and what would need to be down to complete the installion. It took him just a little over an hour to complete the job. He was clean and neat. He did fix a loose GFI switch in my bathroom before he left, which I was very grateful for.

Called to get an estimate on installing lighting under kitchen cabinets. Call center and electrician very prompt, courteous, and professional. However pricing too high and recommended service not required. Light bars and installation: $2,412.80 Dimmer $212.42 (optional, not required) Whole House Surge Protection $547.00 ( not necessary nor required)

I asked the electrician to come out to my home to help install a motion detector light for on my garage and install a light outside my house. Instead, he looked at my electric box and tried to tell me that my ENTIRE electrical system needed updated. He quoted me $189/hr for "investigative work" and then wrote up a quote for replacing my entire electrical system which ended up being OVER $3, 000. He didn't even quote me to do the work I asked him to do. I declined him doing any service that day. *He stated that my electical system would never meet standards or pass an inspection-at which time I informed him that I had purchased the house about 1 year ago and it in fact HAD passed an inspection. I WOULD NEVER CALL OR USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

The electrician arrived at approximately 9:00 A.M. on a stormy day. He removed the fan in our master bedroom and replaced it with one we purchased several months previously. After completing the bedroom fan installation, he proceeded to remove and replace the fan in our loft, which we use as a game room, offering to add a remote control feature, which we declined. The fan in our family room exceeded the height covered by the Angie's List Big Deal payment and we agreed to pay the difference. The installer did not have a long enough ladder and returned to the Cincinnati office to retrieve one that would reach the existing fan. He was forced to carry the ladder on the roof of his van, resulting in rainwater soaking portions of our carpet. He then removed he existing fan and replaced it as he had done with the other two. We had an outlet in our family room that was controlled by a wall switch. This outlet served our television set and recording equipment and was sometimes accidently shut off by someone, usually me, using the wall switch without realizing it controlled the television. For an additional, moderate, fee, the electrician disconnected the wall switch, leaving us a permanent electrical connection to our television and recording equipment. Prior to leaving the house, the electrician conducted an inspection of our home's electrical environment and documented his recommendations.

All of the work went well. He was very thorough and did and excellent job. He was professional and worked continually through the day. It was a very long day. He cleaned up after himself as well. Wore covers on his shoes. We also had a surge protector installed for the entire home as well which was the initial reason for the service.

The repairman was very friendly and the repairs were done efficiently. He arrived on time and work at a good pace.

I called to make the appointment on 9/24/13 and a repairman was at my home the next day in the time slot that I had requested. The work was clean, courteous, and professional in all aspects of the transaction.

They were expedient and did the job professionally. They resolved the issues I was having.

Service was prompt and both the company and the tech, Jeremiah, were very responsive and friendly. Jeremiah ran into some faulty wiring while installing one of the fans and spent nearly 2 hours correcting it before the fan could be installed. He was very nice and explained in detail each step so that I could understand it.

Work Satisfactory--very helpful installer

We had purchased a big deal for the service. We still have the issue that we had before they came out, and we may need to talk to an electrician. I don't want to blame them before I speak to an electrician. The price was good.

It was good. We would use them again in the future.
