Answered quickly when I called. Since I had used them previously the gentleman I talked to said he'd pull my card and call me right back, which he did. I explained that my dishwasher had a serious leak, I was at the office, but my brother would be at my house in the afternoon or the next day if they could get someone there. They took his cell phone number and said they would call him before they came. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call at my office THAT VERY SAME AFTERNOON from the repairman explaining the problem (it was minor) and how to avoid it.

The man that came out was very thorough, personable, and explained things well.

I had originally gone to J&J to look at a replacement for the 20 year old drier. Jim suggested that my drier was one of the best made and that I should consider repairing it rather that replace it. He quoted a cost of about $60 to have a technician evaluate it. When I got home I called for the service. He was available on the day I made the call for service and I was called to advise me that he was on the way. He opened the machine and did a few tests, then advised me what the problem was, what he suggested to fix it and gave me an estimated cost. After I gave my approval to proceed, he did the work in about an hour. He left the laundry area cleaner than it was when he arrived. It was a fine professional job.

He came out within two hours, and replaced the fan. He also saw that the motor I had put in around 10 years ago was the incorrect model, so he replaced that as well. The price was really good, and he cleaned up everything very well. The refrigerator is running beautifully, and I was very happy with his work. I would highly recommend them.

He was very accurate with the time needed to complete the repair and the total cost. Jimmy (owner) who answered the phone and Buck the service tech were very courteous and professional. I called early before they were open and the call must have rolled to Jimmy's mobile phone. He stated he would call back within 45 minutes when he would be at the shop. His return call was timely and so was the follow up call when telling me that I was the next stop on Buck's (the service tech) list. I highly recommend!

Although the person who answered their phone and scheduled the appointment was somewhat abrupt and no nonsense (not a totally bad thing I guess) the repairman was punctual, polite, professional and informative. And, as promised, J&J called my cell phone prior to coming to the house (a big plus in my book). The repair took less than 20 minutes. My sister has made several big appliance purchases from J&J in the past and raves about their service. I would have to agree with her and will contact them again for future appliance purchases and repairs. Kirk. P.S. ... I did not tell them I was an Angie's List subscriber since I wanted to judge them on their own merit.

It turned out that my washer was not working because my cold water was not turned on. They just told me I needed my cold water turned on. It was a little service call and I was shocked that they charged me $75 for telling me that I needed my cold water on. They didn't do any work. I just felt that the price was a little high.

J&J was very helpful in the ordering process and the oven now works fine.

I called on a Wednesday. They were unable to come on that day, but they came first thing in the morning on the next day I had available. They called before they came, which is so helpful. Buck was friendly and got right to business. He assessed the problem in about 15 min., we looked at my purchasing paperwork together, and he gave me an estimate. After I agreed, it only seemed like a half hour before he was done. He gave me some advice on how not to burn out my motor, I paid with a check, and he left. It was painless and quick, and he was very professional and helpful. I would use them again.

They came right away. They gave us a fair estimate on the repairs and got it done. I would definitely use them again. They got the work done very quick and efficiently.

They were so nice. The man came out to see my old washer, helped me pick out a new one and called the store and ordered it. They came out that day and delivered my new one and took the old one away for me. He even made sure it was working OK before he left.

I received phone calls from three other companies telling me that it should of only cost between $160 to $180. I found this out after the fact of the repair. I called the company to ask why I was charged so much and he said "Sorry honey nothing I can do for you" and hung up me. The part was a $95 part and rest was labor. He was only here for an hour and ten minutes.

They care about their customers. They come in a very appropriate time frame where you are not stressed out. They are very knowledgeable at what they do.

He came right away that day after I called. We had water all over because the ice machine flooded. He gave the choice of fixing it or taking the whole unit out. Price was a fare amount.

They are always reliable and always come out quickly when we need them. We have been using there services for years. They are very professional and polite.

I am very pleased with J & J Appliance. I called them about 9 A.M. and they were here the same morning. The serviceman was very professional and was able to quickly diagnose the problem with the washer. He fixed it promptly. By 11 A.M. I was able to resume washing clothes. I was extremely happy that I chose to call them. I would recommend this company and call them again if I had a problem with an appliance.

It went very well. One year ago (almost to the day!) I had them out to work on our washer and dryer. I was impressed with them then, as I am now. Our washer and dryer are about 5 years old, and really, we need new ones, but until then, J & J have done a superb job of keeping everything running for us! Also, they have quick service, which is important since we rely on our appliances so much!

The person who came down from J&J was very polite, and hard working. For the amount of work they did and the amount of parts they provided, I really thought I got a good value for my money. I've used them in the past and I will continue to use this company for my appliance repair. When the work was completed, I tested the washer and it didn't have any problems anymore so they performed the work brilliantly. Thanks, J&J. I know the repair cost was rather high. J&J did talk to me about replacing my washer rather than repairing it but I chose to still have them repair it because I have a rather high-tech washer with digital display and touch controls so I really wanted to keep it.

Everything went as planned. The job did cost more than I expected. However, Buck gave me a quote before performing the work and explained that the cost was determined by the labor involved more than the cost of the part.

I called J & J and described the problem. They said they could fix it. I then asked for a date and time range when I knew someone would be at home. They agreed to it. As promised, they called about 20 minutes before arrival, but it was at the tail end of the four hour time frame I had requested. They efficiently replaced the unit and left. The oven works better than ever. I was generally very pleased with the work and would hire them again.

He was very rude and snippy. It was almost as if he wanted me off the phone. Needless to say I did not use this company.

Repair was made the same day I called.

The problem was not solved the first time which I'm sure is not unusual and there was no charge to me for the visit under warranty. I was very surprised, however, by the rudeness of the person I spoke with on the phone to schedule the second visit(James I believe). I canceled the appointment and found another repair shop. I can't believe that this is the same company that is getting straight A's from other customers! I honestly cannot remember being treated so rudely over the phone by a company. My (pregnant) wife later told me that the service tech was rude to her on the first visit as well (claimed I gave the neighbor's address even though I definitely confirmed it was correct in the first place). Believe me we were nothing but nice to him on the phone and in person - I'm really not sure what this guy's problem was.

The tech not only did a great job on getting my 8 year old washer going again, but also took the time to discuss the new machines that are on the market, and why or why not they would fit my needs.

The representative searched until he found a suitable top. It took him approximately 3 days to find it. He then ordered it, arrived on time to install it and was professional and courteous throughout the project. I will use this company again.
