Description of Work: I called J&J Appliance with a problem with my dishwasher. The gentleman asked me a couple questions about the problem, then suggested I turn off the breaker switch for a couple hours and then turn it back on to see if that solved the problem. He said if it didn't, call him back and he would be right out. His suggestion solved the problem. He could have easily made a service call and charged me for it, but he thought of solving my problem without making any money from me. I will call J&J anytime I have an appliance problem.

Description of Work: When I removed the defrost pan from my 25 year old refridgerator in order to clean it, I was not able to reinsert it into the correct position. I was concerned that water would collect under my built-in fridge and damage the floor if left too long. The repairman came within 1/2 hour after my call and worked diligently until he replaced it. There was some tubing that had dropped down when I removed the pan and was obstructing it's replacement.

Description of Work: I called this company twice to get quotes on service calls and fees. The man who answered the phone was abrupt and rude on the phone both times! Unfortunately, he lost my busness because of this.....and bad experiences travel faster than good ones!

Description of Work: Dishwasher (Frigidare Galaxy) did not drain; dishes remained dirty. They sent someone out in just a few HOURS! The fellow was polite, friendly & VERY thourough. Determined problem to be the pump. Took apart the dishwasher. Cleaned out the pump, checked ALL the drains & ALL the hoses. Then reran the dishwasher cycles. The pump worked again. But he left with a warning that if the dishwasher did not drain again we may need a new pump installed. He did not feel it was the electronic panel, which he also checked for electrical impulses. He gave us the estimate RIGHT UP FRONT before he left. The next day, the dishwasher did not drain. I called again & the SAME fellow came back the THAT DAY. He again checked the dshwsher. Pump worked. He set up another cycle & later he called & I reported that it did NOT drain. We gave him instructions to go ahead with ordering a new pump. Pump came in quickly, same guy installed it & went thru the whole checking routine again. We are SO pleased!
