Service was scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. The plumber arrived about 9:15 - right on time! He listened to what I needed done and got busy clearing our bathtub drain. He was very thorough and left the bathtub spotless. Although he was tightly scheduled for the day, he took the time to answer our questions. After taking showers in standing water for so long, it is wonderful to see the water swirl down the drain again! We should have called them much sooner. We also inquired about future work regarding installing a gas line so we could purchase a gas range (we currently have electric). He was very nice about telling us what needed to be done and said Killeen Plumbing could handle the job. All in all, we were thrilled with their service, promptness and price. We will highly recommend Killeen Plumbing to anyone who wants great plumbing service.

Other than a misunderstanding of the time it went very well. I was allowed to ask questions and honest answers were given and explanations were in detail. Unfortunately for me the yard needs to be dug up because a 40 year old tree has taken over one of the pipes and they have shifted. Everything was cleaned up before he left. He also stopped and gave a neighbor who had stopped by an estimate for some work he would like done.

Wow - all I can say is HIRE these guys! Within 45 minutes of Tom and Nate's arrival the shower and both toilets were fixed. They were professional, polite, knew what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves.

John and Brian showed up on time. They were scheduled to be here for 2 hours, however due to the extent of the work needed, they were here 8 hours. Very friendly and willing to answer questions. They worked extremely hard. I'm not even sure they took a lunch break. If they did it was brief. Cleaned up after themselves. After being here all day, John asked me if there was anything else he could do before he left. He assured me that everything would work well now, but if I needed them to come back, just call.

As usual ,Randy of Killeen Plumbing showed up on time and ready to work. Drop cloths were spread from the outside to the access to the sub-basement as to not track in any dirt. The old sump pump was removed, the battery back-up removed and checked over, and the new premium pump installed along with the battery back-up. The drain hose from the dehumidifier had fallen off and was reattached and a leaking water pipe (which I knew nothing about) was repaired - for free! I have used Killeen Plumbing for the last four years and they have done pump installation, repaired a leaking toilet bowl, put in a new kitchen sink and other duties. Always on time and extremely well mannered, I have always been completely satisfied with the job they do. They also give an Angies List discount for hourly work. I have recommended them to my family members and friends.

I would use them again and I recommend them for their professionism.

They are 2010 Service Award winner and came highly recommended. The fellow was very personable and professional. He answered my questions. I liked that they had hourly charge. I got four to five estimates and everyone else charged by the job. Some of the quotes were astronomical which we couldn?t afford. I read in all of the reviews for these guys that they were professional and they did the job right. They had a reasonable charge. I compared them and they seemed to be more reasonable. The work will not be done before next week.

Hot water tank died on a Sat. morning. Called around as usual plumber who does not have overtime weekend charges could not install new hot water tank as warehouses were closed and they ran out of tanks they keep on hand for the weekend. I called Killeen Plumbing and he gave me a price over the phone for coming on a weekend. It included a higher labor charge because of the weekend but his price also included new gas and water shut offs and new flu. He suggested I wait until Monday as he said the labor would be cheaper and a better price for me, which it was, but I did not want to be without hot water that long. I told him I would call around more and he said sure and told me to make sure the things he included in his price were not xtra with other companies and to make sure I ask. Well after checking around, it turns out all other were in fact charging xtra for those things and travel chgs and xtra labor. So i called Quinn back at Killeen and asked him to come out..which at this point was 4-5 on a Sat. nite. He came with another fellow and they removed old tank and took away, installed new tank, water and gas valve and even made a trip out for a special sized vent pipe as my stack into the chimney was not a standard size. They cleaned up, were very professional and did a great job. Made me like them as Quinn was very much trying to help me, even if he might not have gotten the job. They will now be my new plumber, that is how much I like them.

Service, cost were A number 1.

Absolutely excellent. The office was very friendly and responsive, and Randy was on time for both the quote and the work. Had I chosen to have the work done at the time I got the quote, he had materials in the truck to do the job and was ready to go. Each time I called I didn't have to wait more than a couple of days for a visit. Very professional, very friendly, and up front about the cost and the basis for it. He even wore little plastic booties to protect our floors. Excellent value and fast work. We will definitely be calling back for all our plumbing needs!

The Killeen office staff was efficient with setting up the initial date for the estimate and the date the work was scheduled. Quinn Killeen arrived for the estimate promptly and spent quite a bit of time explaining our options for the type of tank and placement in the space. He sent the estimate quickly and project was completed within the week, taking his crew of two about 4 hours to complete. When taking the tanks from the basement, they took great care to protect the kitchen's wood floor, cleaned up their work area in the basement and made sure I was satisfied with the completed project. The new piping and connections were neat and well thought out. Our first experience with Killeen has left us with the impression of reliability from the staff, crew and owner who seem to have pride in their business and great customer service.

The plumber (Tom) and his assistant (Nate) arrived on time, assessed the work to be done, and went about it in a very professional and efficient manner. Tom did not have one of the PVC pipe parts that he needed to complete the job, so he ran to a supplier to get it while his assistant continued with other aspects of the job. When he returned with the part, they completed the work. Everything works fine, looks great and they were less expensive on an hourly basis than my previous plumber. I am very pleased with their work and would not hesitate to highly recommend them to others.

Their service was excellent! My drains in upstairs bathroom were running very, very slow and thought there might be a leak in one of my pipes due to a friend neighbor trying to flush it out with Drano. Had to have pipes replaced, shut off valves installed and drum trap cleaned out. Originally when I was getting estimates and told them of the problems I was having different companies gave different solutions to the problem. But the person from Killeen said lets start with the easiest and hopefully most obvious. He was correct. The problem was the drum trap seal was worn/corroded and needed replacing to be able to seal properly. He also replaced the top, cleaned out the gunk, replaced pipes/shut off valves on my sink, toilet & tub and the price was way less than then the estimates I was getting. Another nice/considerate thing he did was to take his shoes off when he came in to get an estimate. I said that was not necessary but he said he did not want to track any dirt from his previous job onto the rug. When he came to do the work, he put a shoe covering over his shoes.

The overall work went excellent. The staff that came out was extremely professional, very timely, cleaned everything out and very trustworthy.

My son found our pressure reducer valve leaking in the basement about 9:00 pm on Friday night at a pretty fast rate (filled a 5 gal bucket about every 4 hours). I found Killeens on Angies list and called them because the reviews seemed to all be positive. I was surprised to have a live person answer the phone (rather than a machine or service), especially after hours, who took my information, asked if I needed an emergency call or if it could wait till morning, told me what time to expect the tech and who it would probably be. I was already impressed with the company especially since it seems like you can't call anyone any more and have the phone answered by a human being. Tom showed up at the house Saturday morning at exactly the time he was supposed to. He saw what the issue was, told us what the part cost and what he believed the labor would be. He had the part on his truck and was finished with the job within the hour. He adjusted the pressure several times until he got it to where we thought it normally was, wrote up his invoice, which was exactly what he said it would be, collected his payment, shook my hand thanked me for my business and left. He was very professional, curteous and left the work are neat and as he found it. I would, and plan to, use Killeen Plumbing again and would recommend them to my family and friends.

I have absolutely no complaints or suggestions for improvement - everything was great! They called to tell me when to expect Randy, and he was very professional, but also very personable, and explained what he was doing as he went, explained pricing up front, and even though it took four hours for him to clean everything out and get the toilet working again, at 6PM, he was still willing to take a few minutes to check out our sump pump situation and make a few recommendations for what they might be able to do. We will definitely be calling again!

They fixed it then a few days later the leak reappeared. They came back out at no cost and fixed it right away.

Initially were called in an emergency situation (water leaking) and someone came right over. They were friendly, spent time explaining issues and discussing options. Repairs were made starting the next day (Saturday). Workers were professional, considerate, efficient and they cleaned up after themselves well. Couldn't have been happier with the personnel and the work they did.

Luckily, another job in the area had been cancelled so they arrived 1/2 hour after my panicked call. The two plumbers were very personable, neat and knew exactly what to do. They took care to cover their boots with protective covers. They told me what needed to be done and the possible cause. They also suggested I use a fan to dry out the area. The best job ever!

This is the second time we have used them. They give outstanding service. Their professionalism stands out. They have high quality work with affordable rates. The finished product lives up to our expectations. They didn't exceed the quote. The project went on time and on budget. They came out the day they said they would be there, and they finished the work in the reported timeframe. Everything works well. The price met our budget.

Quinn fixed a gas leak in one of our water heaters and fixed the pilot on the other. Great price and very helpful and personable. Gave us useful advice on when to replace the heaters. We will use him again.

They are awesome. They came when they said they were going to. They fixed it very promptly and very quickly. They gave me a quote. They were very professional and very nice. I've used them several times and they are great. I have compared their prices. I would absolutely use them again.

Early Monday afternoon, we received a call from our tenants indicating that sewage was backing up into the laundry room in the basement. We called Killeen right away (based on previous positive experience) and they had someone over to the house to meet us within an hour. Randy snaked the drain, removed a disposable hand-towel (likely not the source of the back-up), and continued to check the drainpipe all the way out to the drain. He then ran the cutter/scraper attachment through the drainpipe out to the street to be sure that no additional debris or build-up was in the pipe. Although he didn't use a camera, he mentioned that nothing caught in the drainpipe, so we likely didn't have infiltrating roots or broken drainpipe pieces. Randy was prompt and professional and very reassuring as this was our first time dealing with anything like this. He was able to provide the name of a company he was familiar with who could assist us in the clean-up efforts. We credit Killeen Plumbing quick response for keeping the damage in the house to a minimum.

It was difficult to get to the basement drain due to it's location in a bathroom, so Randy looked for access elsewhere to avoid removing the toilet and creating extra expense. We've had this problem before due to tree roots and most plumbers just remove the toilet. I was struck by his level of knowledge and the enthusiasm he showed for his work. He discovered a drain I didn't know existed even though our family has owned this house since 1962! As it turned out, that drain was not the one that was clogged, but he was able to get access through another pipe. The cap on the drainpipe was defective and he took the time to replace it rather than simply tape up the leaking cap as the previous plumber did. When I called to request service this morning, the office staff was just as professional and courteous as Randy. I will definitely call Killeen for any future problems. This is an exceptional company.

It was a tough job but he got the drain cleared. It went well overall and he gave us some tips to prevent it from happening in the future. The price seemed fair considering the effort involved.
