Purchased a Sierra 1500 Denali Truck May 2020. Salesman was very knowledgeable and courteous. Negotiations were what you would expect. I had a hard time agreeing to an item they call “PULSE” it’s a flashing brake light but he explained it was on all vehicles they sell do to it becoming a mandatory safety item in the future!(********). “PULSE” already on it sorry. We negotiated final price approx 18% discount off MSRP. told them I had my own financing at 1.98% and would have a check tomorrow for them. They asked me to do financing with them for 1.98% rate match and I agreed (mistake on my part). Waited approx 1.5 hrs for finance guy. Now I realize if people ahead of me I wait no problem but the person ahead of me was out of the office for 40 min before I was brought in. How do I know. I was watching the guy. Finally I get asked in and knew he was a shister right off. He make stupid fast small talk and the starts talking payments which are well above agreed upon purchase price. I ask what is the sale price of vehicle you are using? It was $2000+ over the agreed upon price because he was courteous enough to add in an extended warranty I didn’t ask for or want! He removes it and I ask to see estimate sheet and he has moved interest rate to 2.35% not 1.98% tries to compare it to a mortgage interest rate vs APR. In my case it is irrelevant because I’ll pay the truck off but I should have just told him to give me bill of sale and returned next day with the check just on principle alone. The finance man was rude, inconsiderate and an embarrassment to the organization. Strong words right a little **** ** the finance guy you think, I asked a question on breakdown he was unable or unwilling to answer the question and he commented, why do you care if the bottom number is what you agreed upon! Finished my review of paperwork figured out the answer to my own question and signed the documents. After signing, expecting for him to ask for the over 20k check I was putting down as agreed upon and he just says as he is putting paperwork in a folder we are done! I say ok and walk out laughing to myself! Sales man sees me and approaches and explains they are still detailing my new truck.i wait another 20 min and salesman brings me to my truck and explains a few features. I wanted to just leave and let the finance guy sweat it out on the check missing when the controller figures out he never asked for the down payment. But I looked at the salesman told him his finance guy was an a-hole (he was not surprised by my comment) and handed him my down payment check. He said oh... he never asked for this! Nope and the only reason I’m doing this is so nobody pulls you into his incompetence by saying you should of asked for it! Recommendation... bring your own financing to this dealership!I drive home my sons excited over new truck and I ask him to check out this “PULSE” feature! Non existent ! Ok I’ll bring it up with them tomorrow. I go back and find salesman explain no “PULSE” on vehicle he confirms it and goes to his manager. He comes back and says he never agreed to put it on. I say you told me it was already on the truck! That’s why fee was there. He goes back to the manager and comes back saying that’s how we got to final number by not adding it!!!! Not what we agreed upon! I expressed my displeasure with the resolution and left. Dealership Stand by your word if you don’t you are nothing. ( I would have asked for it on the owed slip during signing if I knew it wasn’t already installed like I was told)This is second reason for this review! If you decide to buy a vehicle here and you hear this “PULSE” charge or anything like it adamantly oppose this charge for me..... it’s garbage.I wish it was a better review for the dealership but it’s not. The salesman Daniel was a good guy just doing what he’s told no hard feeling against him. I hope Holman Motors owner sees this and corrects the dealerships problems for future customers. I hope your experience is better than mine. Happy shopping.

These crooks sold me a truck that was supposed to be checked and serviced by their GM mechanics, yet they tried to hide a failing TCM so they could pass off the $675 repair bill to the buyer. I ended up being the lucky guy who got stranded on the side of the road hours away from home less than a week after buying it and had to take care of figuring out this mess. I called the salesman Pete and he said it was sold with no warranty (they actually made me sign 2 waivers! Tell me that isnt a little shady...). I agreed that I bought a truck with no warranty, but then after dropping it off to a duramax expert, he concluded this wasnt the first time this tcm had failed and that someone tried to turn off the codes but were unsuccessful at removing them completely. He bought a new TCM unit from my local GM dealer and had the dealer flash it for me. HOLMAN GMC SCAM ARTISTS sold me a truck with known issues prior to me purchasing it, and wouldnt stand behind their product. I cant believe a GM dealer would stoop that low to scam a customer out of $675, it's flat out pathetic. I went to a GM dealer to try to avoid this kind of dishonest behavior. The truck has terrible swirling in every panel as well. As soon as the polish wore off (less than a month after I purchased it), all these terrible swirls showed up. It looks awful. Whoever tried to buff this truck should be ban from ever touching a polishing tool again. I'm still trying to recover from the $675 repair bill before I can afford another couple hundred dollar detailing repair bill. Buyer beware of these crooks!!!

It could not have went better all around.

The van was towed into Holman's from Indiana for overheating and possible lifter noise. This occurred on a weekend after the service area was closed. After calling Holman's, the sales department alerted the night watchman to be waiting for us to let the tow truck onto the lot. On Monday Holman's called to advise us that we needed to replace the engine. ~$6000 for a new GM engine (100,000 mile warrenty), less money for a used engine (12 month, 12,000 miles warrenty). We started calling around and found out that a replacement Jasper engine could be had for $4200 (100,000 miles warrenty) from a shop that received good ratings on Angie's list and BBB. We have had all previous service work done on this 2005 GMC van at Holman's so they knew the vehicle. We told Holman's about the price we received on a replacement engine and asked them about matching the price. They said that they would price out a Jasper engine and get back with us. In the meantime, to their credit, I have to say that we had a free loaner car from Holman's all during this time, which was approaching two weeks. Four days after we asked for a new estimate, they called and said that they had done some additional investigation on the engine and discovered that the overheating was caused by a bad water pump. Yes, I did have some lifter noise, but that the mechanic said the engine was sound (the engine has ~164,000 miles on it) and all I needed to have done was a water pump replacement. I was a bit taken aback by this and a bit angry that they originally wanted to replace the entire engine (which would not have included the water pump and would not have fixed the problem). Why did they not do this investigation when the van first arrived? Since the van was already at Holman's and we had a loaner car, we agreed to let them replace the water pump for ~$750. So far, there is nothing wrong with the water pump replacement service.

I have a Chevrolet and I always go to a GM dealership. I have been taking my car to Holman Motors for the last several years. They are very friendly and efficient. Everything about them is excellent. We can always have any major issues taken care of while we are waiting, and that doesn’t take a long time.

EMPLOYEES ARE HELPFUL. CAP WAS ORDERED AND RECEIVED QUICKLY. INSTALLATION WAS PROMPT.
